Mutants are his favorite topic, and enjoys working with them, often he can treat them cruelly for the sake of experimentation. He is not cold heated having a love for his family, but considers humanity ignorant, and would rather converse with intellectual extraterrestrials, his dream is to travel the universe. He enjoys learning, traveling, and trying new things, and is very open minded. In his Mister Sinister Persona he is far colder, and less caring about human life even his supposed loved ones. He has a grudge against the SXML whom he considers the "new" X Men, and a particular hate of anyone connected to the Summers family. He seeks power above all, and all his relationships are based on how someone may be useful to him.

Weapons: He owns a small arsenal of hand held weaponry ranging from handugns to hand held machine guns.

MGH: The Mutant Growth Hormone, the drug he developed. It can grant people temporary synthetic mutant abilities, and when injected in mutants can restore abilities, or temporary make them more potent similar to Alicia's super charges. It can be injected in liquid form, or swallowed as a pill. Overuse of the drug within a 24 to 48 hour time period has negative effects on the body.

Powers: X Gene Manipulation
Neil Potter has the ability to manipulate the X Gene. This allows him to control mutants in a variety of way, he is able to grant people the X Gene. With physical contact with others he can grant them abilities by placing an X Gene within them, and is capable of suppressing and removing the X Gene from other mutants. He is able to control those whom he has given abilities and see through there eyes and has been able to control several people at once, enough to lead an attack on Washington D.C. He is able to manipulate them via forcing them to use their abilities in a certain way, or to control them via puppet like control. He is able to control the abilities of other mutants whom he didn't grant abilities too, but cannot command them in a puppet like manner. He is capable of tampering with Mr. Sinister's X Gene to temporarily grant himself other abilities, but he cannot grant himself immensely powerful abilities such as control over matter or time. He is only able to grant himself one ability at a time, and only for a short duration of time, as overuse of that technique can cause him immense pain and possibly to fall apart.

----Sinister's Abilities
Cellular Shapeshifting: ability to control every molecule of his body, allowing him to assume the form of any one he wishes. He once reduced himself into a semi-liquid state.

----Regenerative Healing Factor: Mister Sinister is able to rapidly regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. Sinister can fully heal from injuries that result in massive tissue damage or loss such as multiple gunshot wounds, slashes, puncture wounds, broken bones, and severe burns within a matter of moments.

Superhuman Stamina: Mister Sinister's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the muscles of ordinary humans. He can exert himself at peak capacity several hours before fatigue begins to affect him.

Superhuman Strength possesses superhuman strength, which may be a product of his shapeshifting. Sinister is able to press lift within 2 to 10 ton range.

Superhuman Reflexes: Mister Sinister's reflexes are enhanced to levels that are beyond the human body's natural limits.

Telepathy: He can read minds and project his own thoughts into the minds of others within a radius of 250 miles (on Earth). With extreme effort he can greatly extend that radius.

----Mental Paralysis: ability to induce temporary mental or physical paralysis
----Mind Control: capable of controlling the minds of others but only one at a time and if the target is in his physical presence.
----Dilate Power: ability to mentally paralyze a foe he's touching and the ability to psionically "turn off" the superpowers of any mutant.

Telekinesis: possesses telekinetic abilities enabling him to levitate and manipulate living beings, inanimate objects, and to some extent energy, psionically. He can “lift” as much as 10 tons of weight and possibly even more and can achieve other effects.
----Concussive Blasts: can fire blasts of concussive force from his hands or from the diamond-shaped scarlet mark on his forehead.
----Force Fields: can erect a force barrier to repel and defend against incoming onslaughts, they're potent enough to stand against Cyclops's optic blasts.
----Flight: Sinister has shown he can use his TK on himself to accommodate flight, how fast is undetermined but it's speed is still impressive nonetheless.

Bio: Neil Potter was born and raised in an average home, James Potter and his mother ran a popular movie theater known for showing movies the old fashion way, Neil spent much time at the theater. He developed an interest in science, and science fiction movies, living in his own world, he was antisocial during his early years making few friends. It didn't help when his father died from cardiac arrest, he stayed behind to run the theater to help his mother, but eventually one of her old friends took over, and he went off to College and years later became a geneticist working in Washington D.C. During his time in college he met the love of his life Cynthia Withers, and they became married a few months after graduation.

They had a daughter named Diana Potters two years after they were married, and lived a good life together, Neil constantly making scientific advancements, getting promoted. After Diana came down with a strange illness he began working hard to develop a cure to what he suspected was cancer, but actually the Legacy Virus. After she died, he was recruited by the Agency, learning of Specials he began experimenting on them determined to cure the illness that ended his daughter's life, obsessive, and eventually Cynthia found out about his work, he abandoned the Agency, and started a new life with her Florida. There he developed MGH, a drug that granted him abilities, he used to rob an ATM, and start a more wealthier life with his wife.

He began selling MGH to people within Florida, making a fortune, and became a target in the Bloods and Crips war. Years later when Velon lost his powers after Shawkun repaired his soul, an injection of a more potent MGH restored them. Velon then funded his research, and set him up with Oscorp, getting him a job working directly for Jorgan Osborn. He became the Director of the Science and Genetic Division in Oscorp. He began modifying the MgH drug after some tests on himself, and trusted workers and after the power surge he completed the X Gene formula. Injecting himself he became a living X Gene, and using his own genes he planned to modify it and using his modified formula combined with his ability he held a press conference revealing he could cure the superhuman situation. He gave many powers, and then he was captured by SHIELD for distributions of illegal substances. He managed to obtain Mr. Sinister's body, and using his new powers fused with his genes gaining his powers and mastery of his powers he sent millions on an attack on Amanda Waller, and the U.S Government.

During the attack he gained control of Mr. Sinister, and with Walter escaped the Shield Hellicarrier before Kathy who was on a rampage in Manhattan devoured it. However he began struggling to gain control of Mr. Sinister, and confronted Jorgan who allowed him to remain in control of the Company while he took a leave of absence. He struggled and Shinku sought out Milo's help who rided him of Sinister's genes. However something unexpected happened Sinister regenerated within Neil's genes, causing them to fuse into one being Neil Sinister, who fled Oscorp after a brief fight with Jorgan and Harvey. He fled to Africa to sell injections of MgH to all the sides participating in the war in Africa.
