Personality:
Aaron Stark is a very calm person. His constant uplifting attitude borderlines overconfidence, and he has little problem mocking his opponents mid battle and showing off his powers and charisma. He is also a playboy and a womanizer and will not hesitate to flirt with any attractive woman he sees. Behind his confident demeanor however is a shrewd tactician and manipulator, always analyzing the situation and planning ahead. He trusts no one, not even his allies and friends, and will bring lethal force against them if required. However, he suffers greatly from making those decisions, and seems to have developed a degree of self hate from such behavior, deeming himself unworthy of being called a super hero due to the methods he uses to keep the world safe.
He places the safety and well behind of civilians above everything, and has spent billions of his personal fortune to develop cities and countries to increase the quality of life. He also advocates greatly for mutant rights and lobbies against the laws that keep them as second class citizens.

Skills:
-Expert mechanic and engineer: Stark is a master mechanical engineer, and he likes to remind people of this constantly. He is responsible for most of the technology SHIELD uses (he helped reverse engineer most of the things Milo provided). He was a part of the research team that developed SWORD's space fleet. His repulsor technology has been adapted for commercial airliner use. He as also show capable of understanding the complex Asgardian magical technology and forge his own weaponry based on it, and has created a machine that can act as a portal between the Nine Realms. He can reverse engineer most if not all technology, from simple Earth machines to complex systems like the Travlers ship or the Skrull tech. He also developed together with Ezekiel the new iteration of the Danger Room hologram tech current in use in the SXM mansion. He also has, on one occasion, even created a suit capable of harnessing the powers of the Infinity Gems. His genius extends to usage, as he can come up with nearly any use for even the most mundane of machines. He is an excellent engineer and mechanic capable of fixing almost, if not all, machinery.

-Expert computer programmer: Aaron is an extremely capable programmer and can crack most software and operating systems, able to create havoc on just about any operating system, and can perform actions such as steal information or compromise the machine's capabilities through attacking the drivers of the individual parts. He has created a personal database for his personal use, and along with Ezekiel programmed the Shadow League's operating system and security system.

-Respected businessmen: Stark is extremely well-respected in the business world, able to command people's attentions when he speaks on economic matters. He is known for the loyalty he commands from and returns to those who work for him, as well as his impeccable business ethics. He can be cut throat, but always within the limits of fair competition.

-Expert Tactician and leader: He is a brilliant tactician capable of quickly formulating strategies and new plans should the situation change. He's also a natural leader and inspires confidence from others, as he managed to gather a very different cast of heroes and get them not only to work together, but to do so willingly, and forge them into life long partners. Over the next 2 years he led the Avengers to numerous victories. He also has security measures in place to take down any metahuman on the planet, including his friends.

-Hand to hand combatant: Stark was trained in unarmed combat by Gary and Stewart and can take care of himself if the situation requires

-Norse mythology expert: After Kano went missing in warrior limbo and Tanya perished during the invasion, Aaron spent weeks pouring over every piece of Asgardian mythology he could find, both in ancient manuscripts and in information given to him by Thorson over their long friendship. While not as learned as actual experts on the subject or even magi, he is none the less well versed in the topic.

Weapons:

Arc Reactor: A powerful device that produces repulsor energy to power the Iron man armor. Aaron keeps one in his chest to more easily jump into combat, as well as increasing the power of his cyborg like physiology. It can also be removed and used as a powerful bomb. Also called a repulsor tech node (RT node).

Iron Drones: Powerful independently operated drones, which are design wise a mix of the HAMMER drones and the iron man armor, resembling stout humanoids with a face painted on the top, and no legs or feet. They can be used for various purposes from evacuation, riot control, large scale warfare, to even being equipped with special technology to form specific energy suppression barriers, including psionic, the energy that composes Jet's darkness powers, and any that Stark has managed to properly identify, quantify and neutralize. Using his Extremis in conjunction with the Iron Man armor's HUD, Aaron can command them during battle using his mind.

Iron Man Armor: Aaron possesses the Iron Man armor. He makes use of many different models. The armor is stored within the hollows of his bones.

It grants him several abilities, such has:
-Superhuman Strength: He is capable of lifting approximately 100 tons when wearing his armor.
-Superhuman Speed: Even when not traveling for extended distances, the armor enables the wearer to move and react at high speeds.
-Flight: The armor can typically reach speeds in excess of Mach 8.
-Self-Contained Life-Support System & Environmental Protection: The armor can be completely sealed for operations in vacuum or underwater, providing its own life support, and is shielded against radiation.
-Magnetism: The armor can use magnetism to pull or push metal objects at will.
-Force Field: Energy shielding that can protect the user from harm. It is also capable of reflecting attacks and staying mobile. At full power, it can withstand a nuclear explosion, but it quickly drains away the power of the armor
-Anti-Mugen shield: Reversed engineered from the substance, the shield emits the same frequency as the metal thus granting him some level of protection. But it is mostly used in offense as it allows him to bypass mutant defenses.

-Artificial Intelligence: An internal artificial intelligence operating system that provides strategies, background information on opponents, and on surroundings and the current status of the suit, and prevents a lock on from targeting systems.
-Sensor Systems: Known sensors include radar/lidar, night vision, and physiological/medical scans that allowed Iron Man to take the vitals of other people, including heart and brain scans and monitors. These scans also provide Stark with real-time personal physiological data. An all-environmental scan for atmospheric content or life forms. It should be noted that the armor scans, radars, and environmental sensors run at all times, recording everything Iron Man comes into contact with

The armor also possesses various weapons and armaments

-Repulsor Rays: The armor's primary energy weapon. A particle beam weapon, standard equipment in the palm gauntlets; can repel physical and energy-based attacks, traveling as a single stream or as a wide-field dispersal. It's damage potential is extremely lethal, from being able to go through 2 inches of steel like paper to blasting a hole along an entire city block. They can be powered up to make a larger beam or a Full Form Repulsor Ray, which does 360 degrees of attacks.
-Lasers: Standard lasers that can be used as weapons or for welding.
-Pulse Bolts: Extremely powerful plasma discharges that propagate in strength over distance, but implode if they get overloaded.
-Energy Blade: This laser sword, emitted from his left arm, could also be flattened into a shield on his hands, or spread over the entire armor to encase the armor in a protective covering.
-Pulse Barrage: Pulse Barrage is one of Iron Man's standard long range attack. Because of its extremely low energy consumption, Pulse Barrage can be a very effective attack. An upgraded Red Pulse Barrage has the ability to penetrate through foes hitting others behind them, and the ability to ricochet off walls hitting more targets.

-Smart Missiles: The Smart Missile is one that can target the weak points of a structure, object, or foe to inflict maximum damage with minimal payload.
-Missile Box: Similar to an assault helicopter rocket pack, holds several missiles of up to eight types rockets, including Anti-Tank, Anti-Ship, Spent Uranium Core Armor-Piercing, Flame Bomb, Fire Suppressant, Smoke, Tear Gas, Radio Repeater and a Mini-Nukes. Each type of missile can scan and target several targets at once and fire at a moments notice. The missile can also reach Mach 2 in under 5 seconds.
-Gauntlet Mini-canon: This variably configured gun contains eight kinds of specialty 3.9 mm ammo: Spent-Uranium-Core Armor-Piercing, High Explosive, Concussion Type, High Temperature Thermite, Tear Gas, Tracer, Flare, Smoke and Anti-Mugen They can be switched in the middle of combat instantly.

-Unibeam: A powerful searchlight, capable of projecting beams in virtually every light spectrum. Also used as a powerful weapon that can destroy anything in its path. It fires a boosted form of the Monobeam with some Arc Reactor energy backing it up.
--Freon Stream: An attack capable of freezing the air.
--Tri-beam: This version of the Unibeam runs on direct power from the Arc Reactor, draining it's energy rapidly if not fully charged. It has considerable knock back.
--Multi-beam: As the name implies, the Multi-beam can fire multiple energies at the same time. Generally used with the energy that Tony Stark has absorbed.
--Pentabeam: The Pentabeam has microwave lensing that allows for directed beams of high joule electrons, protons, acoustic energy, and neutrons.

Powers:
Aaron as been injected with the Extremis virus. The virus, a modified version created by Anthony Stark, altered Aaron's entire physiology to act like that of a computer's, making him more of a cyborg than a man.

-Direct Cybernetic Interface: Extremis has fused Stark's armor to his body, allowing him to store the Iron Man armor in the hollows of his bones, as well as control it through direct brain impulses. He has direct control over the communication devices, scanning equipment, and recording devices located in his helmet.

-Wireless Communication: He is also able to remotely connect to external communications systems such as satellites, cellular phones, and computers throughout the world. This also allows him in combination with his skills to hack into most computers and electronic devices.

-Improved Response Time: Aaron's entire brain now functions like a computer. Due to this, his response time has greatly increased, allowing him to think at quicker rates than humans. It also lets him move the armor faster.

-Superhuman Reflexes: The Extremis grants him super human reaction time.

-Regenerative Systems: He has the ability to heal himself and repair the armor so long as he still has power within his arc reactor.

Bio:
Aaron was born to Howard Stark II and Elizabeth Stark, and was the first son of the couple, as a result heir to the Stark empire. His mother died when he was young, in a car accident, and he was left at the care of his butler most of the times. His lifestyle often lead to him not having many friends, and his butler became the only person he trusted.
When he was 20, his father contracted cancer, and died as well. Aaron took this well, and kept his spirits up, becoming a success in the business world, and recognizable face everywhere.

However, on his 22nd birthday, he received a letter from an unknown source, telling him that the Stark family needed to get involved again, and that the world was in danger. The letter coincided with the formation of the yet unknown X-Men, and all the troubles caused by the evolved humans.

He returned home, and following the letter instructions, he found the high tech armor is ancestor, Anthony Stark, developed, and used to fight crime as Iron Man. He soon upgraded the armor with the latest technology, and took up the mantel of the new Iron Man.

He soon meet Harry and Filipe from the X-Men, and as a result, became involved in the tournament Shawkun organized. He battled Filipe and nearly won. However since he used armor and possessed no powers Shawkun did not steal his soul. He stuck around to watch the conclusion and help the heroes in any way he could.

After that he began fighting crime Solo. He started investigating Velon's activities after the mutant attacked his connection to the underworld. He located him, after getting the information from Ledge, and then decided to forgive, on the terms he didn't attack innocents, and started giving him info on the crime network like his previous contacts

He remains largely uninvolved with the happenings of the SXM, but helps whenever something important required outside assistance. He helped fend off the demon invasion and joined the SXM during the Secrete Wars, leaving afterwars
Later he joined Pro Registration during the Civil War and became the leader of the Pro Registration.
As the fight dragged on, Aaron started to doubt the government more and more, but continued to follow his orders

During the Skrull invasion, he had the SXM help fight them off, and despite working with them again, he was coercing them by threatening Leah and Nate.
When Legacy fell, Aaron returned to independent work, but kept his contacts inside both SHIELD and the government, still commanding respect and his often being asked for help.

He's next seen getting the help of the comedic, yet brilliant, duo of Gary and Stewart to help track down Kira, and began financing their work and investigation with his large fortune. The first roadblock he hit was N's orders to stop all side investigations of the case. He ignored it and ordered the two to keep digging.

When the Predators attacked Earth, one of their targets ended up being Los Angeles. This caused Aaron, Gary and Stewart to take a break from their investigations and help the SXM with the invasion. As Gary defeated the attacking ship, Aaron helped the SXM devise a plan to capture some ships and board the Mother-Ship. However, when executing the plan, he was injured and infected with a powerful cell destroying virus. William couldn't heal the condition.
He had the SXM take him to his main offices and laboratory, where Alfred his butler administered the Extremis formula, which allowed his body to reboot and synced him further with the armor. He was left to recuperate, and managed to do so in time and use his new powers (which included technology interfacing) to drive Travler's ship and help the SXM stop the aliens

He and the trouble duo continued to look for Kira, until finally, they're plan was set off and they actively engaged in the search by stealing the criminal database to lure Kira out, working with Near. This failed in the end however.
When Sandra started her rampage induced by the Phoenix Alliance, Near was forced to flee Japan, and decided to meet with him, Stew and Gary
The team continued the search to locate Kira and Zulan to help the SXM deal with the constant disappearance of members and Sandra and Milo's rampage. However their last lead, Wave, was also corrupted by the Phoenix Alliance. As they were about to give up, Amber returned, and she and James went to them with a plan to find the alternate dimension were the Phoenix Alliance were hiding, as James had figured it out with Manda's help.
Aaron, Gary and Amber, as well as Metallic and the other members of Manda's group engaged Kira's army. He managed to knock out Angie and Kiya fast, and then focused on Quelton and Lezune. He managed to convince Devon to trust in the SXM and their powers, which made him surrender.
The captured members were freed, and they appeared back at Earth with Kira nearby. Aaron and Near took him to SHIELD, and as a result of his capture, Aaron was made the new director of SHIELD

When he first started the job, he, along with Near and Zane, gathered a group of powerful people that didn't rely on mutant powers: Marco Pollo, the new Captain America, Cyber the robot, Natsu, Elsa and Laxus, Cloy and Kano. Together, he announced the reformation of the Avengers, under SHIELD directive.

Right after the formation of the Avengers, Kyle, a demigod son of Zeus, came to them for help. A man demanded that he gather several rings of power. Upon gathering the rings, it was discovered that these were the rings of the Mandarin, and the man, Harold, became the new one. However, thanks to Aaron's plan, they manage to capture him.

His next mission involved the Kree empire, who came to Earth to attempt and seize the Phoenix Avatar for their own uses. The Avengers fought to protect Sandra, but eventually she was captured by the emperor himself, Son-Aris. Aaron was also brought aboard. The Avengers raced to save their leader, while on Hala, Aaron and Sandra discovered that this attack was a conspiracy by the Supreme Intelligence, who was controlling Son-Aris. Aaron discovered this thanks to Poll-Aris insistence that his brother was not a bad person.
Calling Milo in, the mutant and Kano the Odinson did battle with Son-Aris and managed to defeat him. Meanwhile Sandra burned down the entire Hala surface in cosmic flames and killed the Supreme Intelligence.
Despite the good ending, the Kree empire named the Inhumans as the guilty party and banished them from Hala, forcing them to take residence on the Earth's moon, as the species had once done

Aaron next appeared when the Gods of Olympus launched a war on planet Earth. Defending Los Angeles from the attack, the Avengers were forced to retreat as the city was laid wast to by Hades, despite their best efforts. The rest  of the invasion was spent trying to defend the planet, and they were also responsible for the rebuilding of the city

Aaron next problem was when Jorgan, using his faked death, framed him and had his position as director of SHIELD taken and his Avengers named fugitives. Jorgan's ultimate plan was to create the final super soldier using the long lost serum from WWII and the Iron Man armor. Stark refused, and invoked the wrath of Osborn. However, thanks to a recent arrival, Nono, the Avengers managed not only to stop Jorgan, but to defeat the entire mass produced IronMan armors the military made, who went out of control. Nono was revealed to be a intergalactic traveler and enemy of the Hunters. She promised to return to help defeat the invasion

After months, the day finally came. The Avengers first helped defend Genosha, before they were scattered and attack the invasion on many fronts. Stark was sent to Los Angeles with the magic trio. As the invasion ended, Nono was gravely injured, but Stark managed to rebuild her shattered android body, but proved unable to rebuild her degeneracy engine, despite his best efforts.

Five months later, Aaron became one of the members of the Illuminati. Stark's last major problem as director of SHIELD came in the form of Osborn, who after making himself president framed the Avengers for an attack on DC (which they actually performed, albeit under mind control). Stark was the only one who escaped, and was forced to watch as SHIELD was replaced with HAMMER. Staying on the run for weeks, he slowly gathered information until, the days before the final battle, he managed to severely injure Jorgan's standing with the press.
At the final fight, Aaron was seen taking down several HAMMER agents. In the fallout, his name was cleared, but his position in SHIELD was forever lost, and despite being offered a position as HAMMER's leader, he rejected it and officially "retired" from super heroism. Despite this, he continued to fund both the SXM and the X-Force, and continued to serve as the Avenger's leader. He heard of Milo's forceful takeover of Genosha, and hoped this would not come back to haunt his friend. It was also during this time that the Predators attacked Earth again, returning with the same technology that gave origin to Nono. Aaron hatched a plan, and managed to return Nono her full powers by reinstating her with a degeneracy engine.

Next, Aaron was caught in a fight between the SXM and a man trying to call forth the Source of All Evil from the void of conceptuality. He helped with his resources, using the Avengers to monitor during the night when the killings of innocents was taking place.
Finally, after Milo took down HAMMER, Aaron saw a chance to regain his standings. But Milo had other plans, and created the X-Lords. Aaron, seeing Milo go down a path he knew all to well, joined Drac's resistance, who was all to soon taken down. However, even after all the horrible deeds, TOAA put things right.
In the new timeline, Aaron was again made the leader of the Avengers, and only bellow Zane within SHIELD. Back to leading the team officially, his first official mission was the defense of Earth against the Council of Gods, showing off his new powerful armor that was created with Alex's help, and Kano's contribution for the upper limits. This armor became know as the Bleeding Edge

During the next few weeks, Zane was removed from office at SHIELD and became a fugitive, again making Aaron the director of the organization. His company has also formed an alliance with Oliver Morrison's company, and they created a repulsor engine to be used commercially. During this time, Oscorp was also dealt a major blow with Jorgan's death (which unbeknown to Aaron was Oliver's doings).

However, his happiness was short lived. Terrel, attempting vengeance against the Silver Surfer, killed a good part of his team, and seriously injured the other. Aaron, viewing this as a personal failure, resigned as director of SHIELD, giving Near the job, and disbanded the Avengers. He retreated to his residence in LA, where he began building a powerful version of the Bleeding Edge. The "War Machine" debuted in his own vengeance against Terrel, after he had acquired both the infinity gauntlet, and the Zen Lavian technology that they had previously used against Terrel
Despite this, he was still unable to defeat him, and Terrel allowed Aaron the chance to either kill or back down, by pretending to lose. With Nono's help, Aaron' backed down

After spending some time solo, and going back to his regular Bleeding Edge, the events of No More Heroes saw Aaron again joining a team, this time the Shadow League, where he became one of the senior members. Him and Kano's friendship led to him being the best man at his wedding.

During the events of Fear Itself, Aaron was the first to encounter a Worthy in combat, and later came to realize the heroes could not defeat them. He appealed to Odin, so he could help Kano and save the world and his friend. Odin allowed him access to his forging room, where Aaron created the 9 Hammers of the Mighty, as well as a new armor for himself, the "Thor Buster", or as he calls it "The Magitech armor"
He helped defeat Skadi and the Serpent.
During Sutur's war he was also on the front line
When HYDRA sabotaged both the SHIELD hellicarrier, and the Vault prison, Aaron joined Tyler and Matt, (Cap American and Goliath respectively) in hunting down the ones responsible, and retrieving SHIELD's stolen cosmic cube. They managed to track down the main HYDRA base, but the stolen cube disappeared as well as the de-facto leader of the organization. With no way to track the still sleeper agents, Aaron and Tyler left the clean up to SHIELD and withdrew.

He then became involved with Mordecai, the man he had attempted to take in in Las Vegas. WIth everyone on the SMXML busy with the bachelor party, he decided to give them a break and instead lead the former Avengers teammates in attempting to take him down. Before they could finish the investigation, he is called to Stark Tower as someone was there waiting for him. He helped by providing support when the extra-dimensional invaders attacked following Zed's assault.

When MRD in consequence of the recent events gained a foothold, he progressively lost more influence. In a last bid to gain influence to use against MRD, he convinced Amber to hand herself in, but that backfired when Mother's was sprung and most of the heroes where sent packing. He lost his company and technology. However, he managed to keep his persona computer, which he used to slowly hack into the MRD mainframe. When the time came, he, along with Marcus, Oliver and the other former Avengers, sprung a trap that sparked a Civil War within MRD. The Brood however, also started their invasion, and the events eventually lead to Aaron's capture.
He was freed after the Brood fell.

In the following week, him and Morrison rebuilt their financial empire and manage to secure their reputation, as well as make themselves the developers of the cities to replace those destroyed by Tess. He was also invited to be one of SHIELD's fleet commanders. Aaron was asked by SHIELD to take a team to investigate a strange signal comming from the moon, which had been intercepted by the Inhuman embassy detachment on one of SWORD's platforms. He saw this as an opportunity to reform the Avengers, and gathering the team to him, headed off for the moon.

They were however attacked in surprised by the powerful Hydra, which had developed extremely advanced weaponry. Despite their best efforts only Oliver and Natasha managed to escape, the others were captured and brought along, kept in Berlin after it had been taken over. Aaron was interrogated by Helena, losing an ear during her brutal torture. The remaining Avengers escaped however, and with Natasha's help, they managed to rescue him. He then activated his special security system he had devised, activating a host of Iron Drones all over the world in the cities he had rebuilt, each powered by a miniature arc reactor. They then fought Hydra and forced a surrender out of their leadership.

Aaron wanted Hydra's entire chain of command arrested, but already exhausted from the Brood war, the world leaders sued for the first terms Helena, who had ousted John Doe, offered.

A few weeks later, the sun was covered by a strange darkness. Stark did his best to help by providing heating systems to keep certain areas producing food, while trying to construct solar panels in nearby stars. In one such venture, and with Amber's specially constructed device, he managed to capture a bit of the shadow, revealing for sure it's sentience. However, it escaped. The Avengers later participated in the final battle after Jet revealed himself.

After defeated Jet however, Sandra was left infected with the darkness. While at first nothing came of this, eventually she started to become violent, and took over the Shadow X-Men, and then later Genosha. The Avengers and SHIELD tried to stop her, but the darkness proved too powerful. Aaron recruited Christopher Hank and with his help developed a special device to suppress the darkness in Sandra, but before he could use it, Yamairo purged Sandra himself, and bigger issues with Zach and Korin arose. Zach attempted to use something from fiction called the chapter black tape, a record of all evil deeds of mankind, to break the minds and spirit of humanity. Before the tape could play more than a few minutes (which in truth was hours of content due to Zach's preparation), Korin interrupted. The human Avengers had been shaken, but they had to regroup as Korin's vampires launched a massive attack of China. They tried to fight him in Shanghai, but were easily dispatched and almost killed by the godly vampire, saved only by the timely intervention of Amber Parker.

After Korin's defeat, Aaron demanded Yamairo relinquish the captured Zach, but the mutant refused to hand over his own. Despite the argument, he choose not to pursue any further, electing to leave Zach in the X-Men's custody for now. A few weeks later however, during a diplomatic mediation between the warring Russian and German nations, Aaron is kidnapped by Kyle, the demigod son of Zeus. He is warned that the sin of Earth is increasing at an unnatural rate, and that soon the gates of Hell might open. Aaron accepts Kyle's help, and they return to the Avengers tower.

While there, Kyle informs that there is Asgardian energy sensed in the happenings, and Aaron instantly deduces that Kano is attempting to break out of Hell. Tanya attacks the tower, just as Yamairo comes to inform them Zach had confessed to having a part in the increase of Sin. Tanya manages to steal one of the keys, and they follow her to Los Angelos, where the last key is held. Despite their best efforts, Tanya acquires that key as well, and Hell is opened. Stark is taken by Kano to be interrogated as why he did not aid his friend or protect Tanya, Kano's wife, from MRD. While at first left without a reply, Aaron eventually decides that he will not fight Kano as simply another villain, so he challenges him to a one on one fight. Taking them to his old Los Angelos manor, Aaron produces his Thorbuster armor, and does battle with Kano. Despite his best efforts, Kano defeats him. He tries to fight to the death, but Kano simply immobilizes him. Left broken and humiliated, the Avengers take him to NYC to prepare for Kano's attack

While at NYC, Aaron immediately begins to plan how to defeat Kano. Kano begins his invasion, sending massive Destroyer armors against the USA, Russia and Germany. The Avengers defend NYC while Aaron attempts to blast through Asgard floating above, but he is removed from reality by Odin before he can properly calibrate the special laser weapon, resulting in Asgard begin overly damaged. Odin gives Aaron one last chance. A powerful gautlet that can give him enough power to fight Kano, and plunge both of them into Warrior's Limbo, where they must agree on a fate for humanity before they may leave. Aaron takes a while to master the gautlet, but returns just in time to save Gally from Kano's wrath. However, Kano sends him back anyway, leaving himself stranded.

Aaron then disappears while researching the Nine Realms, only resurfacing once to gain control of Stark&Morrison from Milo after the Avengers are made fugitives by their opposition of Milo's pro-mutant regime. He remains missing for the entirety of his friends take over, returning at last a few weeks later, with schematics for a machine to transverse the nine realms. He uses it together with the Avengers to enter the realm of Hel and rescue Tanya from her fate after death. It is not yet known the consequences

PostSubject: Iron Man Armors   Tue Jan 24, 2012 4:49 pm

General Information
Aaron Stark possesses several armors created with extremely advanced technology. All of them are powered by an arc reactor which gives power to all the other individual components of the suit, which is in turn held together with a powerful force field.
The defining abilities of Stark's armors are the jets situated in the boots and the repulsors situated in the gloves. The repulsors originated as a hand attachment, but have since become the armor's most important standard armament. They have been referred to as being magnetic, a blast of charged particles, and as a force beam. A later variation on this is the Pulse Bolts, bolts of concussive energy that actually gain energy the further they have to travel, up to a limit of roughly three football fields (about 329 meters).
Another defining trait is the chest-mounted "uni-beam", also known as the variobeam, and tri-beam
Every suit has a self-contained environment, assorted onboard weapons systems, enhanced strength, flight, and various communications arrays and sensors (such as radar and radio).
Normally, the armor consists of approximately two million grain-of-sand-sized discrete units, which are shaped to have as large a surface as possible to optimize their effectiveness. Each of the "cells" is a tiny unit in its own right, contributing energy and computing power to the entire armor; this is also why the suit can remain functional even after having sustained considerable damage. The basic principle of the suit is holistic; each part contains the whole, as it were. When inactive, the entire suit can collapse on the microscopic level, the cells "folding" in on themselves to take up a smaller volume, like a three-dimensional accordion pleat.
The armor is powered by a combination of solar converters, electrical batteries and an on-board generator that uses beta particle absorption as a fuel source. The armor is also able to convert nearby energy sources, such as heat or kinetic energy into electricity, or even drain electrical energy directly into the batteries for recharge.
The armor is very durable, capable of withstanding tremendous amounts of punishment. It can withstand high caliber bullets with ease. He can also withstand rockets, missiles, torpedoes, high powered lasers, and such, taking little to no damage. It's also fully resistant against electricity, fire, heavy impacts, energy blasts. The suit can withstand extreme high levels of kinetic and thermal impact, as well as most forms of radiation thanks to its refractory coating. The armor even has specialized circuitry that guards against telepathic attacks.

Original Iron Man Armor MK V

Inherited by Anthony Stark, this was the model left behind for Aaron by his ancestor the previous Iron Man.
The red and gold armor is composed of an ultra-fine 3-D knit alloy and incorporated motors into the knitting to allow full mobility. The boot jets chemically fueled thrusters, which provided a much faster flight speed. Weaponry consists of the chest-mounted Mk II Monobeam (useful range was still only several yards), repulsor rays, a proton gun, and powerful electromagnets to pull metal objects to him or repel/push them away. Communications and sensors consisted of a short-wave radio. Other features included an image reproducer and collapsible roller skates. Most functions are controlled by miniature electronic switches mounted on the insides of various pieces of the armor such as the helmet and the gloves; by pressing various combinations of them, different systems were engaged. The switches in the helmet are enabled by the wearer's tongue; other functions are utilized with wrist-mounted controls.
Aaron would upgraded this armor ever further, eventually creating a near precursor to the Extremis.

The Extremis Armor:

Created after Stark was injected with the Extremis Virus. The new armor is no longer a bulky unit which houses its own AI "response server" and miscellaneous interfaces for neural control. Instead, it is more lightweight (constructed of a pliable crystalline material with a molecular structure that can collimate into super-hard planes upon the application of an electrical field) and less complex (as it interfaces directly to Stark's brain via the Extremis-modified cybernetic connections), and has much faster response time since it effectively functions like Stark's second skin.
Another major departure from the previous armors is expansion of repulsor technology. The "repulsor flight system" provides lift (something like anti-gravity) and positive flight control (pitch, roll and yaw), while the usual rocket boots provide the armor with thrust. The same repulsor technology allows the individual pieces of the armor to levitate and assemble themselves, by modulating what Stark referred to as "vectored Repulsor fields". Stark can store the undersheath of the armor in the hallows of his bones and call upon the rest when needed

Extremis 2.0, "Bleeding Edge"

This armor was made to accommodate Aaron's extremis modifications to the fullest.
The nano-machines that make up the suit can now be commanded to form any type of structure upon Stark's skin. The nano-machines can even mimic the appearance of clothes, and then dissociate to transform into the Iron Man armor whenever Stark wishes. The armor and Stark's own transhuman body are powered by the high-yield arc reactor mounted in his chest, which is a combination of his repulsor techology and Oliver's electromagnetic technology. Unlike earlier armors, this new armor does not appear to rely on motors and servos for motion. Instead, the nano-machines create a secondary artificial musculature over Stark's body, upon which additional rigid structures are assembled.
This also enables the armor to self-repair and be almost invulnerable, as the armor is capable of transforming and healing itself as long as the power output from the arc reactor isn't interrupted or terminated.
The new armor consists of iron/platinum nanoparticle fibers which arrange themselves according to the wearer's commands, even forming large, complex structures such as weapons. The cannon mounts on the shoulders are examples of this. It is extremely thin, weighing a total of less than twenty-five pounds, and can store inside the hollows of Stark's bones in its entirety.

Extremis 2.1 "War Machine"

This model was made by Aaron in his quest for vengeance in name of his team. It is made with the same technology as Extremis 2.0, the "bleeding edge" model. In the same manner as the previous model, the nanomachines that make up its structure can be controlled completely. The major difference is that Aaron equipped the armor which much more heavy weaponry, taking advantage of the armor's improved weight ration to include much more offense. The strain it puts on Aaron's body carrying around the armor, along with the extra ammunition it packs, is considerable. It also possesses an improved armor platting.
It possesses various weapons: repulsors, unibeam, twin chain gun, laser blade, wrist-mounted flamethrower.
The shoulder pack can deploy Gatling guns, a box rocket launcher, a pulse cannon, and a plasma cannon.
Various munitions are available: depleted uranium, high explosive, concussion, thermite, tear gas, tracer, flare, smoke, anti-tank, anti-ship, flame, fire suppressant, radio repeater or sub-nuke. It also possesses anti mugen weaponry, as well as anti mugen radiation emittance which blocks out all powers within its vicinity.

An armor created as an offshot to the Thorbuster. Aaron used Asgards workshops and mystical technology to full use, using his stress tests he had performed with Kano to create a powerful armor that can truly fight with Gods. The armor is made with a techno-mystical interface that allows direct connection to Aaron's mind, and can be instantly called on by using a set of runes. It is made of uru metal, and has been given Odin's blessings, making it a weapon closer to the Mjolnir than anything Earth has ever produced.
It is equipped with all the usual weaponry, and also possesses a feature that allows it to manipulate the Odinforce into shields and energy beams. It is powered by runes, so it never runs out of energy, and can instantly repair itself through said runes. It also possesses the Bleeding Edge's nano technology, so Aaron can chose to repair it through those methods.
All in all, this armor is probably the most powerful Iron Man armor yet made
