However, he has suffered a lot along his life due to his mutation. As a result, he can be overly aggressive to any anti-mutant behavior, even if it's against a sworn enemy. He tried to kill the Secretary of Defense because of what had been done to Menace over his mutant abilities (however, Manny stopped him before he could even try). He's been with Manny since he was very young, and sees him as a brother and a father figure. The rest of the crew is like his family as well, and he will do anything to protect them.
Base of Operations: Caribbean

Theme Song:Skills: Eston has taught him to wield two Kusarigama-like weapons, each with two sickle blades, with one inverted, giving it the resemblance of a fan. The blades are connected to a spiked rod tethered together by a long chain. He's very versed in their use, and his appearance while wield them has lead to his nickname.
Weapons: He uses a pair of Kusarigama blades attached to each other through chains.
Powers:Shadow's mutation allows him a power similar to Joe's albeit with some differences. It's also changed his body appearance. He's the third strongest fighter in the crew
-Teleportation: He teleports by displacing himself into the Brimstone Dimension, traveling through it, and then returning to his own dimension at a certain distance from his point of departure. He consciously determines his point of return. The entire process occurs so quickly that Shadow is barely unaware of being in the brimstone dimension at all. Shadow guides himself through the brimstone dimension by an unconscious, natural direction-finding sense. Although Shadow controls his teleportation ability with his conscious mind, his power to teleport is not psionic. Rather it is the result of an unknown biochemical/biophysical reaction which he triggers mentally.
When he disappears in teleporting, Shadow leaves behind smoke with a stench reminiscent of burning brimstone. This is a small portion of the atmosphere of the brimstone dimension that escapes while the aperture is open. His teleportation is invariably accompanied by the muffled sound of imploding air rushing to fill the vacuum left where Shadow's body was. The longer the distance over which Shadow teleports himself, the harder and more exhausting it is for him to make the teleportation jump. It is easier for him to teleport between north and south (along Earth's magnetic field lines) than it is for him to teleport between east and west (against the magnetic lines).
Shadow's powers automatically displace liquids and gases when he arrives in the course of a teleportation. His momentum is retained throughout the process of teleportation: he arrives with whatever amount of inertia he left with. For example, if he were falling from a great height, he could not teleport himself towards the ground in order to save himself; he would land with the same velocity that he teleported with. He can subtract this inertia by teleporting short distances upwards (as though taking two steps back for every one forward).
As part of his power, also exhibits a limited ability to sense the teleportation of other beings. The limits to the mass that Shadow can carry with him while teleporting, and the limits to the distance over which he can teleport himself with additional load is unknown. When he transports a passenger over even moderate distances, the passenger feels weakened and ill, to the point of exhaustion.
Shadow can use his powers offensively by grappling with an enemy and teleporting him or her in a series of rapid jumps. The strain of these multiple passes through the Brimstone can exhaust foes without superhuman endurance while Shadow remains strong enough to continue fighting.
-Subconscious Spatial Awareness: Shadow has a very limited subconscious extrasensory ability that prevents him from teleporting himself so that his feet, for example, would materialize below the surface of the local ground. Because this ability is so limited, however, Shadow will not teleport into any place that he cannot see or has not seen in the past.
If Shadow teleported himself into an unfamiliar area, he would run the risk of materializing partially or entirely within a solid object. If too much of his body materialized within a solid object, he would probably be killed.
-Physiological Changes: Shadow has suffered multiple changes to his physiology as a result of his mutation. The most apparent is the gaining of a redish black fur coating.
--Sulfur Adaption.: Shadow has a natural adaptation to the Brimstone dimension in which he performs his jumps. His lungs can breath in brimstone (sulfur) with no harm to his body.
--Prehensile Tail: Allowing him to grab onto objects with relative ease. His tail is strong enough to not only support his body weight but also lift an adult man completely off the ground, and is dexterous enough to fight while holding a sword or blunt object.
--Micro-Suction Discs: Shadow can stick to objects with the surface of his hands and feet. This enables him to scale surfaces.
--Flexible Bone Structure: Shadow's bone structure allows him great flexibility. He can remain in a crouched position for a long time and perform contortionist type feats without causing any damage to his spine.
--Infrared Vision: Shadow's always glowing eyes grant him a marked degree of heightened night vision as well.
--Superhuman Agility: Shadow's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels beyond the human body's natural limits.
--Superhuman Reflexes: Shadow's natural reaction time is enhanced to a level beyond the human body's natural limits.
--Camouflage: He has limited abilities to blend into shadows, both as a result of his fur and his connection to light-bending attributes of the dimension through which he teleports. This is also the explanation for why he constantly appears in shadow, even in direct light.

Bio:Henrique was born in Peru, in a small village. He was born with the appearance he has now, why is unknown. He grew away from the village until he was 5. One day, his father was killed by the villagers for a reason Henrique can not remember. He was about to be killed himself, but at the mere age of 5, he awoke his power and teleported out of danger. All he remembers from that day is his father's corpse, the fire the villages set to the house, and his own fear.
He spent the next 5 years going from village to village in Peru, stealing for food and became known as a demon. One day, when he was 10, he was at a port town, and meet Manny and his crew. He seemed to like them, and tagged along with them as they had a break in the village. They decided to take him along with them, as he was like them. They named him after the bar tender who helped them while they were in town, as he helped them escape when they were about to be caught be the police.
He became an invaluable member of the team, as he handles the initial attack on boats with his power. He was trained by Manny in the use of his weapons. While serving on the ship, he started to understand why people thought he was a demon, and also started to believe that his father was killed because of it. He gained a resentment for anti-mutant goals and ideals.
While on the ship he managed to save the old bar tender that helped them out before. He still keeps in touch with him.
The pirate crew first appear during the Brimstone arc, where Manny joins the Akatsuki. During this time, Shadow finally discovers his origins, and the reason his mutation is so severe. He was all along a member of Iliria's family. This revelation didn't shift his loyalties whatsoever though, and he remained with his crew.
Their next major appearance was during the Kree invasion, where Sandra was threatened by the Kree. Henry like the others tried to no avail to help her.
Like the others he went after Eston when he defected to get him back
Next, he appeared fighting in the Hunter war, arriving late but on time to defend the coast from the Hunter attack vessels, and later helping to secure Washington.
The crew thus became members of the SXM, with the occasional leave of absence to sail around the open waters.
He was locked up along with the rest of his comrades during the Brood Wars by MRD, but escaped. Later he went with his captain to visit Sandra.
