Gaëlle is a spoiled girl that fully takes advantage of her position within the Burial Agency to get every little whim and want catered to. She reacts badly when she isn't respected or talked to properly, and enjoys taunting those bellow her.
Despite these faults, her faith is absolute and if she is on the battlefield she leads by example, does not hesitate to run into the front lines and protects other soldiers with her life. This change in behavior leads some to say that a different person altogether takes over. Most who have battled with her will lay down their lives for her, and most who have not see her only as a spoiled brat. She doesn't seem to care one way or the other what people think of her

Weapons:
Joyeuse: The legendary sword of Charlemagne, it is a holy weapon blessed by the Archangel Akroma, capable of harnessing the Heavenly Fire, a substance of origin in the Heavenly Host which can burn any target. The flames can be focused as slashing waves or huge infernos to consume entire battalions of enemy soldiers. The blade itself cannot be harmed by anything not of the Host.

La Pucelle: The name given by the Burial Agency to the battle standard Gaëlle has discovered, and believed to be the actual battle standard of Jeanne d'Arc. Whenever she carries it, it offers divine protection and grants her a measure of superhuman abilities, as well as protecting anyone riding with her into battle from harm. The exact nature of the battle standard is not understood by mortals as of yet, but it is in fact an item blessed by the Archangel Raphael, a standard of blessing and healing that offers protection and power.

Bio:
Gaëlle is a young girl from an old noble French family living in Britanny. When she was but a child, she followed a voice in her head and discovered hidden in a passageway of her old family home a battle standard with a tattered flag, the golden fleur-de-lys upon a white field. Once she touched it, the standard glowed with a bright light, and was instantly restored to a pristine condition

Her father, upon being presented with the old relic, took it to the local church, which by sheer coincidence, was managed by a Burial Agency's retired inquisitor. Contacting the main offices, they ascertained the real nature of the standard, and instantly took the entire family into custody, training the girl up as one of their battle knights.

She took to the training as if she was born for it, and in just 10 short years, had risen to the rank of inquisitor herself, and is lauded by many in the same ways the original wielder of the standard was, a symbol of strength and endurance in bleak battlefields and hopeless causes.

Currently, she is residing in Los Angeles and hunting down the girl known as Melker on orders from the Burial Agency. She has more than once clashed with Tie and Earrings, despite them being angels as well.
