History: Dave grew up in a fairly typical household, just his and his mother and father. The sense normalcy was shattered around the time Dave turned nine. His father began acting strange, staying out all the time and sometimes not coming home at all. One night Dave was woken to screaming, he ran downstairs to find his mother screamng at his father and some mysterious woman.

She appeared to be the source of his fathers odd behavior. Dave was so confused, but he soon became terrified as his father attacked his mother at the womans command and proceeded to beat her. Dave tried to stop him but was knocked aside. The woman forced him to watch his father beat and rape his mother. The months that followed were a macabre play. The woman had the entire family completely under her control and directed them through their daily activities, without the outside world knowing.

She revealed herself to be a vampire, drinking from Daves father, then his mother, and finally Dave. He wasnt sure what happened, all he knew was that he woke up in a hospital bed, a kind doctor looking over him and sadly telling him that his parents were dead. He was taken in by his aunt and uncle. For months he was silent, refusing to talk or even look anyone in the eye.

This all stopped the day he met Sandra Fuller, who lived next door to his aunt and uncle, she coaxed him outside and they played with each other daily, forging a friendship.
