Personality: Tesla is focus driven person, when putting her mind to something it's hard to get her to stop until she gets her way.   She can be arrogant and a bit of a bitch from time to time.    Those qualities aside Tesla does have a heart and do care about her friends.

Powers: Diamond Skin - Tesla has the ability to turn her skin into diamond form.   She gains a tremendous amount of durability in this state.    Her strikes packs quite a punch in this form and she's a lot heavier then normal, making her more difficult to throw around, though strong enough opponents like Roberta can still do so.     While Tesla can move in this form it's main drawback is that it does slow her down.

Bio: Tesla actually does come from notoriety, her mother Therese Nova was a fairly world renow'd Broadway singer.    Her father Jay was more of a producer and editor.    Tesla takes after her mother showing impressive singing and performing talent.    Tesla discovered her powers are a fairly early age but kept them low profile for many years.     Her father would discover them not long after Tesla's 12th birthday.    While today's world was pretty open minded to mutants, Jay was one of the few mutant raciest that was still around.     This discovery sent Jay into a furry which ended up with Therese being shot.     Jay tried to turn the gun to Tesla herself but her diamond skin kept her safe.     Sirius just happened to be visiting that day and upon hearing gunshots called the Police.     Police arrived quickly storming the house and a resulting shoot out resulted in Jay getting gunned down and a officer getting injured.

The officer would go on to make a full recovery.   Therese would not survive her injuries and Jay died in the shootout.     Tesla would end up placed in the care of godfather Sirius.     The rest of Tesla's life would proceed fair smoothly and eventually she was convinced to attend Genosha.      Getting into the Glee Club she's been in a rivalry with Tie and Emmet over who's the top singer ever since.
