Bio: Childhood: Rose’s childhood was pretty normal, minus the occasional transformation that would occur because of a sneeze or hiccup. She grew up in a single floor house with two loving parents that hardly ever bickered with one another, which was strange to some neighbors in the neighborhood. They always thought the little family was a bit odd but could never quite put their finger on why that was, though there were a few that knew they weren’t normal, especially the daughter. As she grew older and began to venture outside more, she befriended most of the strays that wandered around. As time went on, she didn’t have many human friends other than her parents. Most of the kids kept a lot of distance between themselves and Rose out of fear. Her only friends were the family dog and the strays in the neighborhood, which her parents thought she spent far too much time with, but still understood why. Only one child from the neighborhood seemed to not fear her, even after he had found out that she wasn’t a normal human. Later, she found out why that was. He wasn’t exactly human either. The two formed a fast and strong friendship. They were almost inseparable, spending every moment of every day they could together. If no one had known any better, they would have said they were siblings.
Later: By the time Rose was sixteen, she had fully come into her abilities as a Metahuman and would often use them to play minor tricks on those that poked fun of her or her friend, just as she had done in her earlier years in school. She excelled through school, college, and her training to become a dog trainer. She did all this while also helping those she came across. To keep her identity secret, she’d either cover her face with a mask or partially morph her face. For years, her life, her job, saving people, and everything in between were going great. She had even found love. She had the support of her parents, her boyfriend (who she met through her job), and her best friend (who had also gone into a profession that involved animals). When the war hit, everything in her life changed for the worst. Even though she tried her hardest to help during the fight and to keep her loved ones out of it and safe, she lost them all. In her grief and anger, she lost control and triggered her werewolf side by killing several people, which was something she had always avoided doing. She disliked the thought of killing anyone or anything. Upon their deaths, she fell to her knees and clutched her head as her werewolf side awoke. Her eyes changed to that of a wolf, her fingernails grew into claws, and her body slightly contorted.
Memories of the past that belonged to another hit her full force. The memories were of the highlights of their life and of their death. The memories belonged to a werewolf by the name of Jason Arlen. He sacrificed himself to save hundreds, if not thousands, of people from a man named Klarion. Once the memories faded, she continued to fight in the war, not being able to pull herself out of it, even after what had just happened. After the war, she gathered and hid away anything of value in a place she could find it later, then hid herself away from the world by taking on the form of a blonde furred blue eyed wolf and living in the forest/woods. She spent this time discovering her new werewolf side and uncovering the fact that a werewolf with a thousand-year vendetta against Klarion had been reincarnated within her. How did she know this while hidden away from the world? Jason, himself had told her so. After getting over the shock of having another soul within her that belonged to a werewolf, Jason had filled her in on everything she had seen and hadn’t seen in the memories that flashed through her mind when triggering the werewolf curse. She learned about him, his life, and what had gone down between him and Klarion all those years ago. He begged for her to help him resolve his vendetta against Klarion, but when she told him she couldn’t do it alone and knew no one to help her, he tried to take over her body and do the job himself. This went on for a long while, and she fought against him every time he tried to take her over.
After a time it began to get old, she still wasn’t quite ready to go back into civilization but she had to find a way to stop him from taking over her body because he was getting more sneaky and almost succeeding in taking over her body. It took some time, but she finally sniffed out a magic user who agreed to help her with her problem. They made her a talisman that would keep Jason from taking over her body and as an bonus, it would also help with her transformation on a full moon. She was told, if she was ever to lose it or if were to break, the magic would be undone and things would go back to how they once were. Of course, this item came at a price which she gladly paid and was also told that if she was ever called upon to help them, she would come without hesitation. She then went back to her somewhat normal life she had taken up and made the talisman into a necklace. She eventually learned how to tune out Jason when he became pushy and annoying then letting him back in when she felt it had been long enough, of course this angered him but soon started to learn to watch his p’s and q’s keeping himself from being turned out and stay on her good side. Years went by and Jason had become the imaginary friend she never had. Yes, it was strange, but she had come to welcome his company even though she couldn’t see him, except in her mind's eye. It was just a shame that the one person she had come to know inside and out and consider a friend was someone she couldn’t see.
Now:After spending years in the wild with Jason in her head, in animal and human form, Rose went back into civilization. She knew that all those that knew her when she was there before were now gone. No one would know or recognize her when she got back. It was a chance to start over in a way, to try to make things better than what they were before. She gathered the things she had hidden away, found some clothes, and headed back into the city. She found herself a place to live and a new job, doing the same thing she had done before. After getting settled in, Jason begged and hounded her to look into Klarion to learn his whereabouts and anything else they could about him. She caved. During her free time, she first caught up on everything she had missed while away from civilization, then began to research and learn everything she could about Klarion, learning he was on the Light's current board of directors. That’s when Rose and Jason both decided that they would prepare to take him down and pray they could find others to help them in their mission.
