Heroes Uprising Part 6

Tesla made it back to the portal linking Valorverse to Earth in quick time, stepping through she found herself back in her own world.   Looking around nobody seemed to be here, she wondered if Chulance got the message.   "I wonder if he knows where this portal is, no of course he does, a giant portal in the middle of New York linking two different world together, how can he possible not know about that?"

Tanya took to the skies to avoid the ground under her, her eyes glowing white with energy.    In a instant dozens of clones appeared besides her, each one harnessing a different power as some eyes glowed crimson, suggesting cosmic powers.   Others glowed green, yellow, red, one clone had black eyes with markings all over the body hinting at demonic powers.     "Surfer, bow to the queen."  Tanya and all her clones launched a combined attack striking Surfer head on.    During this the ground seemed to restore itself to normal, there was more to this attack then brute force.     When the attack subsided Surfer was still alive, but down on one knee and heaving damaged.     All but one of Tanya's clones disappeared, this was the clone that was doing something to hinder Surfer, perhaps it was magic, or was it a reality manipulator, she had spawned those before.     Tanya landed with the clone, it's eyes still glowing with energy.      "Alright Surfer, what the hell is going on here?"

Cassandra had gotten together with Abigail and the two had decided to visit Las Vegas.   It had been a while since they gotten out and around together in a casual sense.    They where each carry a few handbags as they walked down the street.    They'd left one mall and was on route to another, but they had to pass by the casino first.

Luke considered their options. "I suppose Avengers or Ghost Rider would be the easiest people to find. Amber is a crap shoot, sometimes she's home but a lot of the she's also away, leaving her assistant in charge of the grounds." Luke didn't think the remaining SXM could do much to help here, and Rider wanted to keep the Code:Breakers out of it for now, so that limited their options. "Honest Ghost Rider is probably the best person that can help us right now, so I say we go find him."

Chulance focused honing on his ability to feel people with a close personal connection using his adaption powers to pop up near Tesla as she emerged from the portal.

"Tess" He couldn't hide his excitement and went over to hug her. It was always something going on New York City, and he personally wondered how the non mutants could really endure staying here.

"Hey It's not every EVERY day we run into something like that. How have you been Tess I've missed you" He spoke genuine all thoughts of whether or not to leave the SXM flowing from his mind as his heart fluttered feeling happier.

"I won't bow before anyone you spineless hag!" Surfer groaned seeing Tanya manifest various godly clones a power of her's he'd always found annoying to deal with in combat.

"There's nothing going on here, I know Monel summoned you people! I've seen the truth everything you people stand for, everything we've done over the years its meaningless " Surfer's eyes raged with black energy as a blast of lightning struck Kano in the chest who flew down hammer drown his eyes having signs of demonic energy being summoned.

"Something is wrong with Surfer I think I see why my demonic chaotic energy brought me here, he's infected with some sort of energy, I don't get it.

Suddenly a portal opened up via some sort of blaster weapon Monel fired and dragged Surfer through it then closed it. "Precisely the problem..I assumed he brought you here and you were affected but it seems thanks to your own chaotic powers your immune and your close bond with Tanya is doing the same, as for me..I have my ways.

"Have your ways." Kano who was hovering flew down next to Tanya still at guard. "Explain yourself Monel what's going on, what's wrong with Surfer, what did you do to this planet."

"Ah...I made a grave mistake.."Monel spoke looking down and Kano raised an eyebrow he couldn't feel any chaotic energy from Monel. He had no powers he could detect everything was simply a result of his intelligence the weapons that was.

"Explain" Monel shrugged. "To sum it up...there's a radical faction called the Church of Fusion that sought to bring back Emperor Fusion...he offered me rank as a general in his world order, and I could tell he was serious, so I wanted to aid them. The problem is Surfer's son Rider interefered, and they used his powers to try to complete the ritual of course Rider's cosmic powers aren't enough to bring back a being like Fusion, really few things.....but some how I think they managed to bring him back....however none of my technology has been able to find him, meaning he's vastly weakened or getting ready for a counter-attack either way as evil as I am I realized a force of that nature and that violent shouldn't come back, but it was too late another force had emerged from the ritual which makes me think it posed as Fusion...a force that promised to help me get my revenge on Rider, and all of you..in exchange for helping him engineer a virus of sorts.

"So tell me why we shouldn't smite you." Kano raised his hammer charging a god blast.

"Because I'm the only one who can help put an end to this virus. Whatever targated me it effected my memory so I'd need help to regain my memories I've used some of the most advanced technology in the world I even reached out to Surfer to help me, but somehow when taking him to my lab he was infected by this energy as you can see but how he attacked, everything going on in Zenn Lavia was started...by the Silver Surfer he led a rampage to take over the planet to convert it into a war planet, and I put togethre a resistance, clearly we failed, they've began putting together an army, but just want war, they have no goals, they just war...not even for the sake of expanding. Whatever I helped create is dangerous...not in the sense of Fusion dangerous as it's not some nigh omnipotent force but it's more sinister it's some force that wants to be detrimental to society eveywhere..."

Kano sighed and lowered his hammer. "So you've once again made it so we don't need to kill you" Kano paused wondering what this might have to do with his dreams about the mutant on earth, and how they related to this situation. "Tanya he's not lying...we may need his help but these dreams, the message from Odin, now talk of a group of radicals that want to bring back Emperor Fusion...and now this evil force that's not Fusion. What I'm sensing is this evil energy posed as Fusion & used it's followers to come into this universe, and also used Monel's "genius" to construct some sort of super virus..that can even affect someone as powerful as the Surfer...just look at Zenn Lavia..what do you think about all this" He asked his wife knowing that like her he didn't fully trust Monel.

Dakota continued his march to the casino, and stopped to get a corona 40 from the corona store. As he was walking he noticed two ladies one of them whom he found ery attractive for some reason, almost as if he had some sort of connection to her.

Who the hell is she.. Dakota Fusion pondered looking to Cassandra it felt like more then lust like a personal connection.

Then suddenly their minds connected and Cassandra was shown visions of Emperor Fusion's apocalyptic home-world, the universe ravaged by Emperor Fusion, and then a second big bang eradicating the entire universe, and a brief flash of The Living Tribunal the second most powerful being in the multi-verse launching the attack before stepping forward. She had no idea what caused those visions but suddenly her powers read Dakota's mind seeing visions of his recent scuffle with the mutant & gang members in Atlanta and feeling some sort of connection to him.

Dakota Fusion fell to his knees in pain his eyes surging with red energy as the painful memories Cassandra say he also experienced albeit being far less experienced it was causing energy to surge from his eyes. "Fuck fuck fuck! What's going on!" I can't calm down what the hell did I just see..what caused my powers to act up ah fuck...I don't want to hurt anyone..not in the middle of the city...fuck I need to calm down fuck.

"Right alright let me see if I can find him I really need to rest." Rider caused his surfboard to be absorbed into his body to recover some energy and he reverted to a human form before reacing out to touch Luke using a form of power cosmic instant transmission to bring them to the bar in New York where Keeth was getting drunk.

"There he is...ah that's our Keeth getting drunk as a skunk maybe this isn't the best time.

"Best time for what." Keeth sighed he'd switched from shots to craft beer. "What the fuck do you guys want...you know I'm not in the SXM anymore." Keeth sighed wondering what was going on.

Tesla hugged Chulance back, being a while since she seen her ex. Leaving SXM wasn't a easy choice but it was something she felt that she had to do, and boy her ventures in the Avengers and now Code:Breakers had not disappointed. "I've missed you, it's certainly been a while. How are things going back on Genosha these days?"

After Surfer was taken away Tanya's last clone disappeared leaving just herself, Kano and Monel to converse. After hearing Monel out Tanya really didn't have to think about Kano's question. "The way I see it we don't really have a choice, if there is any chance of Fusion returning then we have to follow this up. However Monel be forewarned, if this is some type of play or you betray us, you will pay dearly for your sins. The might of Asgard is not to be trifled with."

It seemed the3 main points of focus here was helping Monel rid this virus, find and destroy the religious group trying to revive Fusion, and find this mutant from Kano's dreams to see what's up with him.

Cassandra and Abby was walking along chatting when Cassandra froze, her mind linking up with somebody and giving her all types of visions. Dropping the bags she help Cassandra seemed almost in a trance as Abby seemed worried. The visions would soon be interrupted by Abby who's shake Cass out of it. "Hey what's going on with you?" Cass pointed out Dakota who while still struggling was starting to regain control of his powers. "That man, Dakota. He has something to do with Fusion." Abby gave a look of concern. "Fusion, but it can't be, Milo made sure he was gone for good." Cassandra had a more serious look, not removing her gaze from the man she just got all these visions from. "Did he really though." Cassandra reached out to Dakota mentally "Dakota I don't know where you got those memories from, but I'd like to try help you. Do you have some place me and my friend can speak to you privately?

Cassandra already knew Dakoda had a apartment, but would he accept her offer.

Luke was less then impressed with Keeth's demeanor as they arrived. "Alright shut your drunk ass up and listen, we need help with the Church Of Fusion."

They took a seat with Keeth and Luke and Rider started to recap what they knew and what they wanted.

The previous day

Scott nodded and walked Minerva through a Fire Path back to Earth 616 where Avengers HQ was located. It had been amazing to spend time with her and deepen their connection, and he smiled as he stopped at her door.
"Good night, Minerva," he replied, returning her final kiss good night.
After she had gone inside, he took a Fire Path back to his home in Earth 1 New York and got into bed. He wasn't sure what the next day would hold for him, but he looked forward to finding out now that he was free to regularly interact with both Earths. Closing his eyes, he soon drifted off to sleep.

Nick smiled back at her and chuckled, realizing that she was messing with him. He knew Katy was strong, probably stronger than him at this moment, but it would be impolite to let her go home alone after they had had such a great connection.
"Just making sure the most beautiful woman at the party has a proper escort."
He returned Katy to her room in Earth 616 and exchanged phone numbers with her so that they could meet up again. Before Katy went inside, he gave her a good night kiss and then left with a smile on his face and a spring in his step. Taking a Fire Path back to Shadowgreen, he settled into bed and prepared himself mentally for the training he would need to defeat Hans, in which only one man could help him...

Lithuel chuckled at what Kiya said, realizing that her cybernetic enhancements would keep her from getting drunk.
"Like I said, it wasn't with any expectations. I was open to more, but only if you consented."
They went to an empty room in Shadowgreen and Lithuel summoned a strong jug of demonic wine. He poured Kiya a glass first, and then poured one for himself.
"Cheers," he said before knocking it back.

The next day

Lone Wolf was out of bed and getting dressed not far from Tesla, looking pleased at her positive review of his performance.
"You were pretty awesome yourself. I didn't have to hold back during our session."
He took out his phone and gave her his number in case she wanted to meet up again while also offering his number. With the time having come to return to their duties, Lone Wolf bowed respectfully to her before a Fire Path opened behind him, hoping that whatever was going on with her wouldn't be too dangerous. He walked through it and it shut behind him, returning him to his clan's dojo deep in the mountainous region of Hokkaido in northern Japan.

Lithuel and Kiya had stayed up the whole night drinking and talking. The man had shared the story of his background and how Scott had helped him go from a raging barbarian into a more civilized man. He also shared his dream of becoming one of the Seraphim, though he still had much hard work and prejudice because of his demon lineage to overcome before he could claim that honor. With the Sun having risen, Lithuel was thankful that he had no pressing duties in Heaven and could continue his personal training through combat, though he would have to do it in Heaven since Hell was too damaged from the war to be of any use in training. This was a bit of a double-edged sword, as his combat with the angels had much more restrictions than his combat with the demons and he was sure it didn't help him as much.

Standing up, Lithuel smiled at Kiya.
"Well, looks like it's time for me to go. I don't spend much time on Earth so I'm afraid you won't be able to reach me by cell phone if you'd like to meet up again. However, I can receive psychic messages from your world or mine, or my friends on Earth 1 can get hold of me for you. See you later."
Lithuel was able to return to Heaven without use of a Fire Path, vanishing from the room and thinking he had a good friendship with Kiya started that could potentially become something more.

Scott got up the next morning and got showered before putting on a light blue collared shirt and khaki pants for more professional attire. He was headed into the office today to work on some cases that had been piling up a bit while he was away on Earth 616. His employees had been handling all of the cases that required leg work, but there were several case summaries for court that would need his more experienced hand to write. After taking his white SUV to the office building in downtown Manhattan where he worked, he took the elevator up to Valor Investigations where he worked. Settling into his office, he logged into his office computer and looked over the cases he would need to write summaries for. After finding his starting point, he began to type it up, detailing the case in an organized manner from start to finish.

Nick got up the next day and sat up in bed, closing his eyes as he recalled the feeling of intense power radiating through him after locking lips with Tiffany. That kind of incredible power that could wipe out two powerful enemies in a single blast each had been dormant inside of him, and now he knew that he needed to bring as much of that power as he could to the surface. He had trained hard and pushed himself during his school years at Shadowgreen, but his entire team’s crippling loss to Cybernator showed that he still had a long way to go. After all, there was always the possibility of a much more powerful adversary out there, and if Scott was away on important business, it would be up to the Shadow Force to protect Earth 1. In order to reach his true potential, Nick would have to walk down the same path of training that his best friend and former rival had walked down, a path filled with training that dwarfed the hardest training he had put himself through. He would need to go and see Alan and Chiang, who could help him reach that zenith that Tiffany had shown him.

Getting out of bed, Nick showered and shaved before putting on his black Shadow Force outfit and combat boots. He would no doubt need the extra protection with these two. Standing within his room, he mentally reached out to Chiang.
Chiang, I wish to speak with you about training. I want to be stronger so that I can protect the world.
For a few minutes there was no response, but then a white portal opened up in front of him. Smiling, Nick stepped through and found himself back in the tranquil surroundings of Nirvana.

At the front gate, Chiang was waiting for him with a small smile.
“Welcome back to Nirvana, Nick,” he said with a bow, and Nick returned it.
“So, does this mean you’ll train me?”
“Yes. In the past you wanted to become stronger for selfish reasons, to be the best at Shadowgreen and to surpass Scott. Now you wish to protect your friends, family, and world, motivations worthy of my training.”

Nick beamed.
“Thank you! I won’t let you down, Chiang.”
“It is Master Chiang from this moment on. Come, follow me to the meditation room. With your particular mutant abilities, a key part of you becoming stronger will be to raise your energy output levels, creating stronger and more precise blasts.”

Back on Earth 1, Hans Holbrook was in the research lab of his company Cybertech, preparing to do some test runs on more effective and powerful Cybernator armor.
The last time we fought, Nick’s energy blasts were little to no threat to me. I’m sure he’ll work hard to increase how powerful his blasts are.
A wry smile crossed his features.
Unless that’s what he wants me to think and he’s actually working on his hand-to-hand combat skills. He has an advantage there that I can’t afford to overlook.

Hans moved over to a computer monitor, which gave him a mathematical calculation on how much energy Nick had blasted him with during their first encounter. It was more than likely not the most powerful blast he had been capable of during that time, but it was all the data he had to work with. Pressing a switch, his Cybernator suit was hoisted up on a hydraulic rack while a laser dropped down from the ceiling. For this segment of research and development, he would multiply the power of the recorded blast from Nick until his armor took serious damage. In between test firings, he would have to fix the armor as much as he needed to in order to ensure that any damage was from that single blast and not a cumulative effect from several blasts, lest his data be incorrect.
“Test fire one,” he said to himself before inputting double the recorded power into the laser using a keyboard and hitting the firing key.

"You know as should be expected calmed down a lot ever since Emperor Fusion nothing's really been the same you know."

Chulance sighed the Shadow X Men Legion had been fragmented, all the teams had split apart, sure they came together when something major was going but to him it wasn't the same. Even Zach had went on his way leaving the team behind only popping up to help out with the demon invasion he was still coming to terms with mutant-human relations although everything Emmet had done helped greatly.

"Calm you know, SXM's still out there saving lives, Avengers too I miss the days where everyone kicked it but I just haven't been feeling the same not without you as much as I have loyalty to the SXM I realized...I need you more then them Tess" Chu said confessing his real feelings about how he'd been feeling.

"Great now granted this dosen't mean I want to be a hero of any sorts, I hate Surfer and his son just as much, but I wanted to transform Zenn Lavia into a paradise under my rule not a war planet at least not one where we just wage battles for the sake of being barbarians."

Kano's war god senses felt bloodlust coming from Monel he could verify his desires were true but that didn't make him any less dangerous, he had a mind to want to silence him and do Rider's family and people a favor once this whole mess was over.

"Can't help but wonder if Fusion was brought back, Milo made sure he died, what if MIlo came back as well I mean wouldn't that be a good thing." Kano quickly got quiet Milo had been one of his close friends since his early days just being a mutant but at the same time Fusion had murdered his wife and left her imprisoned in Hel, he just wished things could go back to the way they had been or relatively similar.

"What do you propose we do Monel since this was your grand idea."

"Well the Church of Fusion will be the best place to look, at the same time the source of energy that was released by the ritual and get a sample of it for me to create a counter acting agent to the cosmic virus"

Dakota felt another voice in his head of a feminine energy, it turned out to be coming from the very woman that triggered or sparked the surge of violent futuristic memories that flowed through his head.

Help me woah you have mind powers too? This shit fo'sho is crazy as hell. Dakota on one hand was glad someone else could speak mind to mind but he wondered who exactly this woman was and why he felt a connection to her.

Shit...I do...It aint often I don't wanna kick it with a gorgeous gal like yourself but lately my life been crazy as hell....I gotta spot problem is I live in Atlanta and I can't even begin to explain but I'm stuck in Vegas so in case you can teleport too... Dakota sighed this was getting more confusing by the second but one thing was for sure he needed help, this violent outbursts of memories were getting worst and if they were going to cause issues with his powers he could hurt someone maybe more then one person.

"I'm an expert drinker I'm not even drunk, and the fucking Church of Fusion? I deal with supernatural threats, Rider sounds a bit more spacey and alieny isn't that your thing or maybe Aaron."

"Look man you heard what the fuck happened, it's some supernatural energy related to this thing, and Amber's not around so I went to the second best option." Rider barked not wanting to joke.

"Damn it second best, that's what I am now." Keeth decided to pit a tip on the table leaving his drink on the table he was more then buzzed. "Fuck alright I can't even lie Castiel just dropped by told me of some weird things going on with the angels, and some dark energy on the earth...but he didn't mention anything about some Fusion worshipers so what it looks like is a typical case of these nutcases wanted to revive their god-leader of choice in this case Fusion and no offense but I doubt your cosmic powers were enough to do that...so they brought something out bad, but whatever it is they've got ties to it, and this energy is here on earth..too....and the angels are wrapped up so there not helping right now."

"Great so that could mean it's either trying to mess with them too, or they can't even pick it up."

"Either option is pretty damn bad." Keeth sighed as he exited the bar with the trio going over to his motorcycle. "We should probably head to Amber's place, and see what we can find, I get not wanting to get Aaron and them involved, if Cas felt like I should be doing something about this shit, then me, and you guys can probably handle it we don't need to stir a panic any talk of Fusion coming back is going to cause chaos, hell I bet this force is trying to play on our fears of that exact situation happening fuck." Keeth sighed this was not what he wanted to deal with at all. "Come on Rider let's go."

Rider snapped his fingers summoning power cosmic energy and they reappeared at Amber's place with Rider stumbling back hitting the ground more drained then before his injuries showing.

"Shit must be some of Amber's defense's can't exactly just be popping up, looks like she's not here...alright so evil energy...let's see what the fuck could we be dealing with that's new we've dealt with living fear itself, and so much other shit can't imagine what something new might be any ideas Justin" Keeth said as he went over to some of Amber's notes to start going through them sad he had to do this while slightly intoxicated.

"Michael lay on the ground groaning in pain his attempts to stop Razon had proved useless once and for all. He came too seeing all types of medical gear around him and realized he was in a hospital he was familiar with in Chicago."

???: Your alive
Michael: Emma what the fuck happened?
Emma: Well I was just..living..you know when all of a sudden I seen a blight flare of light like the Nova Force in the form of a massive meteor and you crashed outside my apartment complex, fire trucks, police came, I didn't know what happen
Michael: What..?!

"Michael struggled to remember the last things that were happening some battle with Razon, The Justice Force, loosing the Nova Force, Shila's betrayal, Vinlo seemingly falling in battle."

Michael: OH shit.

"Michael tried to leap out of bed and summon the nova force energy only for sparks to come around him and nothing more."

Michael: What the fuck is going on?
Emma: Calm down you've been sedated for a while, you were struggling with your powers when I first found out, SHIELD managed to get you to the hospital I worked it and I've been keeping a special eye on you for the past two-three weeks
Michael: Two-three weeks no! Damn it no telling what's happened with the Nova Force!? I've got to gte back
Emma: Yeah well you weren't alone when you came, one of your female soldiers was with you
Michael: Where is she.

"Emma paused and Michael felt an ominous feeling in the room."

Michael: She's dead isn't she
Emma: Afraid so she should watch out for Razon, and at all costs to stop him from fusing Lord Kal & the Emperor.
Michael: Lord Kal & The Emperor?
Emma: She said you were at one point very very close friends with the Emperor...that was her last message we couldn't save her, we barely saved you, sure modern meds are good but compared to what you have access out their in space it's not much it's just..why not rest you know I miss you you know how I felt about you it's.
Michael: Emma I felt...still feel the same way but I have a duty, and there's problems going on.
Emma: Well at least let me help you dang, I'm not a mutant or a Nova Force, but I kept your restless ass alive so let me do something..
Michael: Fine..do something..I need a drink anyway...I need to get to the Avengers, you wanna do something, you still remember how to fight right?
Emma: I was a SHIELD nurse, I juts got tired of that life.
Michael: Yeah well hope you have some off days, if you really wanna hang out, we need to go speak to two agencies your old employers SHIELD & Aaron Stark with the Avengers.
Emma: Damn...ever since the SXM Legion fragmeneted, he's been here less and he made it clear he wanted to keep his work to the Nova Force if he wants to go to both of them it's serious... Fine no telling when I'll see you again I get off in an hour take advantage of the free dinner at least I got you some clean clothes.
Michael: Fuck fine tv will do my good till I can get some bourbon in my system anyway.

"Michael retorted and Emma smiled flipping her hair before leaving. Michael reached for the remote and decided to flip the channels there were a few things entertainment wise he missed about being a regular human on earth and not traveling the cosmos with the Nova Force. Although he wondered how long he really had to just kick back and relax."

Tesla was a bit shocked, she hadn't expected Chulance to leave SXM and come back to her like this.    While it was hard at first, Tesla had all but come to terms that she and Chu had taken different paths in life and that their relationship was over.    "Wow, this is so... when I got your text Chu I thought something was wrong, I rushed back as fast I could.     But this, I wasn't expecting this."

It sounded like Chulance never stopped thinking about her this whole time, she didn't know he'd been so lonely.    Tesla always kept Chu in her heart, he was her first love.    However she had the past put behind her and was enjoying the solo life, heck just last night she was in bed having sex with a man from another dimension.     Chulance seeking her out to rekindle their relationship, it was unexpected and had Tesla kinda thrown for a loop, it was the last thing she had been expecting to happen and needed a moment to take this all in.

"If Fusion is back, he'll have hell to pay" Tanya commented in response Kano talking about Fusion and Milo.   It was clear to the Asgardian King that his Queen had not forgotten.    Not only was she trapped in Hel due to fusion but no doubt she felt her defeat was embarrassing, as a human ascending into godhood Tanya had done so much to earn respect in the eyes of the Asgardian people, growing into not only a mighty warrior but a strong and commanding personality.    But her fall to Fusion, not just defeat but in how she was defeated, Fusion made a mockery out of her and it clearly ate at her pride.   While Fusion was all but unbeatable, Kano didn't think Tanya would care.     She'd be out for blood if their paths crossed again.

"Get a sample of the energy that was released, doesn't sound to hard.    Hopefully this church doesn't turn out to be to much of a issue."

Cassandra walked over to the man with Abby, Atlanta wasn't ideal, Cassandra could fly them there but had another idea.   Calling in a favor she reached out to Yamairo from the SXM to transport herself and her friends to Atlanta.     Yama would arrive to bring them and realizing something was up with this stranger would inquire about help, Cass declined as she wanted things as quiet and peaceful as possible, and having to many bodies around would cause issues.    When Yama left Cass would have Dakota bring her and Abby to his place.    

Once inside Cass made sure to lock the door behind them, she had Dakota sit crossed legged on his bed and instructed Abby to break their link if things started getting crazy.    Cass would sit on the bed also cross legged in front of Dakota.   "Alright here's the deal, my name is Cassandra Fuller, I'm a powerful telepathic and I want to look into your mind to see what's going on.    You are having memories of somebody you should not know, a very dangerous man by the name of Fusion.    I have to know what you know and make sure you aren't a threat to anybody.     My friend Abby will keep a eye on us, if things start getting out of control she'll separate us at once.

Now Dakota you seem to have some physic abilities yourself, normally that would complicate things however I'm pretty sure I can get around your defenses if need be.    That said, I'd rather not brute force my way in, this will go a lot easier if you work with me and let me in.   Are you ready?"

Dakota nervously agreed, Cassandra gentle placed her hands up his head, making physical contact for a all the stronger connection between the two.   Both closed their eyes as Cassandra looked to penetrate Dakota's memories.    Goblin may be gone but Cassandra was still extremely powerful to her own right, this Dakota guy shouldn't be able to stop her unless something was not right.

Luke helped Rider up after they arrived at Amber's and he fell back drained. "As for what this evil energy could be, who the fuck knows Keeth. Like has already been said, we've so much shit that it could be anything.

Nick followed Chiang through the streets of Nirvana, where several buildings were undergoing repairs. Despite their busy efforts, each of them stopped and bowed respectfully to Chiang and Nick as they passed, never forgetting their friendliness or honor. After what seemed a mile of walking within the city, they finally reached Chiang's Temple in the very back and passed through the large red double doors. The inside was spacious with muted red and brown tones everywhere, although what commanded the eye immediately upon entry was a large brass bell between large dull green statues of the Buddha.
"What's up with that large bell?"
"It is used during our sacred ceremonies to reinvigorate our spirits and purge any dark energy from the city."

"I see..." Nick replied as his eyes traveled further around the room, taking in the simple majesty of it all.
Nick had never been much of a religious person, but even he could see a clear difference in this ancient temple as opposed to churches from hundreds of years ago. Christianity during the height of the Catholic Church's power had been very ostentatious, with gold and other splendors demonstrating their wealth and power. In contrast, Buddhism had embraced the simple and the restrained, finding a different kind of beauty within countries that remained in many ways impoverished today. Somehow it seemed more right in Nick's mind that houses of worship should be less glitzy and more faith-focused.
"...You have a nice place here, Master Chiang."

Chiang bowed slightly in appreciation.
"And all the nicer because I have good friends to share it with."
He swept his arm out and pointed to a room off to the side.
"Our destination is the Meditation Room in here."
Nick nodded and walked inside, his senses almost overwhelmed by the strong smell of incense. There were so many incense candles burning that a cloud of smoke hung over the room and then drifted down to make the entire room smoky.

"The incense helps to relax the mind and body so that a state of tranquility can be reached," Chiang explained after seeing the confusion on Nick's face.
He then gestured for Nick to sit on the floor and himself took a seat further up the room below several dark green wall hangings. Nick was sitting Indian-style, so Chiang had him bring his feet up to rest on his hips in the lotus position before he did the same. He had never sat this way before and it was uncomfortable, but Chiang assured him that he would forget about it once the meditation started.
"Now, close your eyes and take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth, letting your mind become still as you relax."
Nick closed his eyes and breathed deeply in through his nose, but started coughing as the strong incense started to burn his nose and throat.

"Oh, man," he said after another coughing fit, "Is there any way we can tone down that incense a bit?"
"It will be at its most intense for you now because this is your first time. You will get used to it as you meditate more."
Nick knew it was pointless to argue further, so he put aside his discomfort and tried to continue his meditation. Gradually, the soreness of his legs and the intensity of the incense faded away as a calming blackness settled over him.
"Now, find the center of your being."

"The center...of my being..." Nick asked groggily, as if he were falling into a deep sleep.
"Your sense of who you are, and what it is that you want."
There was silence then as Nick felt like he was sinking through water in his mind.

A bright light suddenly flashed before his eyes, and he beheld a yellow sphere the size of a basketball in front of him.
This...is my center?

Outside of Nick's mind, Chiang saw that same sphere glowing at Nick's solar plexus.
"Now, imagine your mutant energy as a puddle, something you would see on the street after a light rain."
Within Nick's mind, the ocean he was sinking into disappeared so that he was standing in some vague city landscape with a puddle on the sidewalk. Outside of his mind, his body was edged entirely in white energy.
"Now, grow that puddle larger into the street."
Nick's mental self watched as the puddle did grow larger and expand out into the street, almost touching his feet.

Outside of his body, Nick's power was starting to rise from him like light smoke.
"Keep widening that puddle until it grows to the width of a lake."
The puddle continued to expand, the water running like small rivers down the streets.
"Let the water touch everywhere that you can see and beyond."
Nick's mental self watched in amazement as the water continued to increase, even expanding beyond what he could see with his own eyes. If a helicopter were to fly over this scene, it would see an entire borough of New York sitting atop water.

Outside of Nick's mind, his body was intensely radiating energy, but the power it could put out was still lower than his current maximum. Chiang knew that increasing his power would come about by increasing the depth of this mental water, but that could be potentially dangerous. They would have to do it slowly, building up to the kind of bottomless ocean he had fallen through on the journey to his center.
"Now, the waters will begin to rise."
Mental Nick watched as the water began to rise over his shoes, some part of him thankful it was lukewarm and not ice cold. The water would continue to rise to his knees, and outside of his mind, his body's energy aura was starting to come off of him in larger light waves containing greater power.

Mental Nick watched as the water continued to rise up to his chest, then up to his neck. As it started to get up to his nose, however, some overwhelming survival reflex started to kick in. Unlike when he had been falling through the water, seeing the water rise up in front of him had triggered a fear of drowning. His eyes snapped open, and all of the growing power that he had been putting out faded away. His heart was hammering and he felt short of breath, only realizing afterward that he had interrupted the exercise. Looking at Chiang, his face had remained neutral and unchanged, as if he had been expecting this.

"I'm sorry," Nick said as he bowed his head, "I just felt like I was going to drown."
"There's no need to apologize. Very few students who first undergo this exercise are able to overcome that reflex and proceed with the test."
That made Nick feel somewhat better, although a competitive side of him wished he could have been among those that overcame that reflex.
"I should have known that I wouldn't drown in water that wasn't real..."
"Learning from your mistakes and overcoming them is a far better solution than beating yourself up over your mistakes."

"You're right," Nick said with a smile, "So what should we do now?"
"Even had you not halted the exercise, I would have stopped you shortly so that you could see the practical applications of your newly-gained power."
"Practical applications? Does that mean that I get to blast something?"
"That's exactly what it means," Master Chiang said as he got up to lead Nick elsewhere.
"Sounds awesome to me."

Hans noticed the first sign of moderate damage to his armor after calculating fifty times Nick's recorded power. This blast had put a large dent in his armor, the first time it had taken more than minor damage. After buffing out the dent, he decided to crank the laser up to one hundred times the recorded value.
"Test fire twenty-six," he said before pressing the firing key.
The laser fired once more and produced a much larger dent with a large crack where it had hit.
"Hmm, now we are starting to get somewhere."

Hans took a laser repair tool and patched the crack and dent.
"If this level of power did that kind of damage..."
He cranked the power once more, using his keyboard to input numbers totaling 150 times the recorded value of Nick's blast.
"Test fire twenty-seven."
The blast went clean through the armor and smacked into the hydraulic rack that had been covered in an overabundant amount of energy shielding.
"Ah, yes, as expected."

Hans would have to make his armor durable enough to withstand very powerful blasts from Nick, but he would have to make sure that the armor was not so heavy that it gave him extremely limited mobility. The armor would have to be reinforced to a degree and energy shielding would have to take care of the rest. His current goal was to build armor that could withstand 1000 times the recorded energy without taking damage. This would have to suffice for defense, since he would still need to upgrade his weapons and better his hand-to-hand combat skills before their rematch in New Mexico. The extra mobility would have to pick up slack for defense if there was any. With this in mind, Hans lowered the hydraulic table and repaired the damage before setting his mind on the next task.

Walking over to the other end of the lab, he inputted a code into the keypad to open a large metal cabinet containing titanium overlays of his Cybernator suit. He had made several in case he ever had need of additional armor, and the time had come for him to use them. Taking one out, Hans closed the cabinet and walked over to his suit before fitting the overlay over it. Using a drill, he then secured it into place before smiling. This would likely allow him to take over twice as much damage from Nick's blasts, and he looked forward to putting that to the test. However, before he could move forward with that, he would need to test the mobility of his suit and see if additional fine-tuning was necessary.

Two minutes later, he had donned the Cybernator armor and was walking down the hallway to a larger room labeled the Training Area. This area was controlled by a computer system just outside of it in which virtual reality courses could be made to test out new weapons or other features of the Cybernator suit. In this case, he would be creating a course that would test the mobility of his suit to make sure that the extra weight from the overlay would not hamper him. Going over to the computer console, he cycled through four pre-loaded courses and settled on Course A.
"Here we go," he said as he hit the 'confirm' option on the touch screen monitor.
After that he went in, and the door closed tightly behind him.

Chulance laughed nervously at Tesla's response he had quit a knack for timing it seemed. He wished he'd brought Zach along with him, so the odds would be in his favor. One of the best aspects of that friendship that he still missed.

"Trust me I know it's not all of a sudden, I was coming to terms with everything being over but really I miss you and rather then live with regret I wanted to comeforward and tell you Tess.." Chulance said feeling like he'd gotten a heavy load of his chest. It wouldn't be the end of the world without her, but it would hurt for more then a few days on the flip side.

Kano knew his wife wouldn't shake on that. Still he couldn't get over his brotherhood with hte real Milo, sometimes even worst thoughts like what if Fusion had the right idea in trying to take over, humanity & plenty other forces had done that in the name of good man ytimes prior.

"So we need to deal with Surfer as well, I'm guessing whatever antitote you create wil lbe used against him."

"Precisely Kano, as much as I hate him, he's much worst as an enemy unrestricted by his goody two shoes moraiity in this state he's more quick to use fatal force..."

"Norrin Radd empowered by pure rage, without his qualms of using fatal force on sometimes deserving foes I'd like to see that as a force of good regardless, I'll bring about some soldiers from Asgard to help out this world, best to keep this investigation to a minimum to avoid bringing about panic." Kano tossed his hammer into the sky causing it to swirl forming a vortex that sucked in the trio bringing them to Asgard. Kano used a spell to summon some guards and brief them on the delicacy of the situation and to help monel but keep him restricted & monitored.

"This is a war room of Asgard, where many strategies, weapons, & enhancements/curses have been put together or deconstrcuted. My Guards are to keep a tight eye on you, no free roam of the Asgardian realm, but your protection is guaranteed and Heimdall will aid you in planteary & transdimensional communication with me & my wife. I think were in mutual agreement to keep tabs on all of this...the Fusion resseruction, this dark enregy, the cosmic virus, the church of fusion, anyone we want to get involved in this mission go through me and my wife's approval, come on Tanya let's leave him be."

Kano marched out there with Tanya, he figured having Monel on Asgard, under his protection meant they had the best chance to monitor them, and despite his vast intelligence magic, mystical & divine forces weren't something he was use to tampering with so there was little chance of him messing iwth Asgard. "The two of us alone should be able to deal with this situation, but it makes me wonder if Silver Rider is aware of this situation, he left earth prior to the demon invasion on his own accord I was never briefed on if he was taking a vacation from humanity, the team, or on some mission, but I can't help but wonder if it's tied into all this mess..he's never been super serious but when it comes to the team, his family, and his people he's a different person." The war god said paying his respects to his cosmic ally.

"Anyway I wanted to get off that planet, you know about my demonic chaos powers, whatever force infected Surfer triggered my own powers, and brought me there. Whatever evil energy these Fusion fanatics freed was able to bring me from Asgard all the way across the universe to Surfer's planet with the power of chaos itself. We need to figure out a way to track this evil down. Whoever can use a connection to do so..some options include the angels...Amber..perhaps the Avengers...or even someone amongst the Code Breakers..or...get this....Milo's mother.." Kano said the last one knowing his wife might ask her of all those people.

"Ready as I'll ever be I suppoise." Dakota sighed wondering whta all would be uncovered from this Cassandra Fuller. He couldn't help but think about how beutiful she was and what she was bound to find in his memories.

"Fusion wait isn't that one of the good guys? Dakota had memories of Fusion one of the greatest heroes of the SXM who'd simply vanished without a trace. a Controversial figure at times but his impact on the earth with him gone was noticed.

Cassandra saw a flood of memories from Dakota showing up him growing up poor, dealing with drug use in his family, his problems with alcoholism, him going into law enforcement & the military, then a scene of him using energy blasts to slay some demons during the demon invasion, then she was surrounded in darkness with no attachment to where she is floating in a drak void before a beam of energy surged past her and a being of immense darkness formed of purple energy then a bright red aura around the massive giant darkness that turned black illuminated by the red energy, yellow eyes, and purple horns.

"I am Khaos...young child...and this man must die...ah the Goblin actually served me a purpouse even with it laying dormant deep inside of you" Suddenly Dakota's body was seen in the shapeless void and the evil being laughed.

"It's him oh the world is so kind, thanks to his own servants, I will kill him, I will kill you, Sandra, Abby, all of you all of you will die at my hands and now I can exact my revenge."

The being caused Cassandra to scream in pain, in real life her body had gone silent began screaming in pain, and teleknatic knives began clawing into her arms and back drawing blood and a beam of energy slammed Abby through walls and began surounding her body causing her extreme pain. In the darkness void a voice screamed No and a sillehoute appeared o fa man in a costume tatterd with an F burned into his chest." I WONT LET MY MISTAKES GO ANY FURTHER>"

The nameless being summoned immense cosmic, and mystical energy releasing an omnidimensional wave disintegrating the darkness. The sound of chains snapping was heard, and suddenly the darkness was engulfed in a bright light. Cassandra saw memories of war in the Emperor Fusion timeline, and Dakota standing on the battlefield his shirt on fire burning off, and wearing some sort of super durable pants drawing claws from his fists and moving at super speed impaling two reistance soldiers, then beginning to summon massive amounts of electricity, and pure energy growing wings flying into the sky growing bigger in size as the ground began tearing apart, and sent forth infini tendrils tearing apart through more resisance, as a man flew forward tackling Dakota into the ground and grabbing his mind using some unkown power to force his way into the man's mind, and subconscious then a deafening seismic wave enhanced by the power cosmic and the penance store went off causing Cassandra to see a flood memories of the target Dakota was attacking in immense pain millions of tiems over before the vision ended and she was back in the real world seeing the damage from the blasts of energy and Abby's pain ending as the energy vanished, and Cassandra could feel her own body hurt.

"What the fuck is going on!" She heard a voice cry out that came from Dakota's head and sounded familar but then upon further investigation there was no trace of that voice or any other personality or being in his head.

"What happened what was that!" Dakota was shaking somehow he'd maintained a teleathic bond with Cassandra and witnessed everything she'd seen and even had telekntic blades draw into his back causing blood to be seeping out through his colothes.

"Fuck what's going on?!" Dakota asked confused which caused a bolt of lightning to come from the sky and dissipate before it hit anyone or any structure." What was all that, that darkness, and me with the wings fighting in that place..it didn't look like anywhere on else, hell them motherfuckers didn't look like no humans...or mutants I ever seen, except the last guy I was fighting." Dakota was bewildered by the situation and looked around seeing the damage of the energy blast that sent Abby flying through walls and also messed up parts of his apartment.

Only then he noticed the blood on Cassandra's arms and back as well as the fact that Abby was victim to some sort of superhuman attack while him & Cassandra had ventured through his mind. "Oh shit are you okay?! Where's your friend, fuck fuck, this insane, girl I'm so sorry I don' gotta clu what's going on with me, my powers, nothing, something's big wrong with everything going on." Dakota said sounding flustered, and exhausted he had no idea what was really going on with him.

"Not really a good thing huh" Rider had used the power cosmic to make him a sandwich and some lemonade a little bit of his powers didn't seem to trigger Amber's defense and Keeth was still going through books.

"Yeah but whatever were dealing with isn't a pure destructive force, at least not at this point, remember when we fought fear, it was overwhelming but this is something entirely different hmm."

"Yeah clearly so what do you mean."

"I might have an idea...what this is...let me see if I can use the spirit of vengeance to conduct a basic spell..hmm."Keeth said reaching for one of Amber's spell books opening it up and flipping through pages before he settled on an incanatation and recited it while drawing on the vengeance spirit inside of him Rider took a sip of his drank.

"I wonder if whatever were dealing with dosen't have some massive attack power why does it feel so dangerous, maybe we're dealing with something that's main strength isn't it's physical fighting power what you think Jim?"

"Well, I suppose we can give this another try. As unexpected as this was, things where good between us before. I don't know if I'm ready to settle back into a relationship, but lets just play things by ear for now and see how it all turns out." Tesla did seem to immediately rush back into a relationship and shut the door quite yet on the solo life, it seemed she was weighing her options and would decide presumably at some point in the near future what way she wanted to go, but her response should at least give Chulance some hope that it isn't to late.

"Milo's mother?" Tanya said in response, a little surprised. If the goal was to keep this on the low down, then that option seemed to be the best one. Amber, Avengers, SXM and Code:Breakers all had a reasonably high chance of conversing with each other. Tanya wasn't worried about any kind of pressure, all the groups have shown they can perform under pressure. However the combined forces of Earth and Asgard had a bad habit of showing all their cards on the table at one time, at least this way on the unlikely change Kano and Tanya do fail, the reinforcements will have some understanding of what they are up against and can prepare more properly if needed. "Alright, if Milo's mother can help then I say we go to her."

Cassandra examined her injuries, where they attacked? It instead seemed that whatever was going on, had used their own powers against them to inflict self harm. There was certainly much to work this, this was not going to be nearly as simple as Cass had thought. "Dakota calm down, we'll figure this out but first things first." Cassandra along with Dadota went to help Abigail, bringing her to a place she could rest up having been caught unaware by the attack. Abigail and Dakota then proceeded to patch up their own wounds before doing what they could to clear up some of the mess.

Chulance calmed down a little it wasn't everything but it was a leg to stand on. Besides he was still thinking about everything himself so Tess gave a good recommendation on them just playing this by ear.

"Your right Tess, I always liked the way you think" Chulance then looked around." So what's being on the Code Breakers like? The good, the bad, you know compared to the original team." He wanted to get some insight into Tess's life as it was and how it was going.

"Yeah you probably figuring out some of the main reasons I want to her first, and despite everything she's still being a good person on our side. She stood firm against Emperor Fusion, tough decision for a mother, she has my trust." Kano spoke matter of factly before having some servants bring some beverages to him and his lady.

"Mainly because of her ability and her extreme expertise over it. Her powers are of a dream nature, and that's what was originally plaguing me the mutant in New York. My dreams and the warning of Odin about them transpired before we were dragged to the Surfer's world ad learned about this church of Emperor Fusion fanatics, and this dark energy that's spilled onto the earth."

Kano focused on his mystical energies and noticed something strange occuring with his powers and as soon as he located Angel his energy began to fluctuate then he stopped. "I've located her but...something strange seems to be happening to my body..my abilitities...for a second I felt things I haven't felt outside times I was living as a mortal." He said somewhat whorridsome one thing he'd grown to hate was alterations to his being and more so being a regular mortal especially after growing into godhood.

Dakota was glad he had some experience working for law enforcement so he could even help Cassandra apply basic first aid to their friend.

He'd tried to read her mind, but it caused some feedback almost as if someone had placed even some basic level of protection to prevent her mind from intrusion. The same seemed to be the case when he attempted to peak into Cassandra albeit to a much higher degree. Whatever level of telepathic powers they shared it seemed receiving her inner thoughts was a fluke or perhaps something she allowed whether consciously or subconsciously.

Her mental mojo is much higher then mine it looks like damn. my mental mojo couple months ago I thought I just was finally living out my dream of being able to fire kamehameha waves like Goku. Now it looks like I'm one of those mutants who's got some sort of package deal on powers...which is feeling more like a burden then a blessing.

Dakota was caught up in his thoughts of the situation and making sure Abby was okay. "Okay so your telling ME to calm down? Listen lady I know we live in a crazy world, but I've managed to stay away from all of that shit except for certain times the whole world was about to get rocked before the SXM saved it. But things like this personally happening to me never!" Dakota declared he was no coward but this was above him. "Those visions, what the fuck was going on! That massive evil it said it was Khaos, and it was talking about killing me?! I killed a couple demons in self defense during the invasion, don't tell me they was the kids of the head honcho or some shit, cause I can't think of nothing else I ain't ever did in my regular ass life up until now to have beef with a motherfucker like that." Dakota said finishing letting off a mouth full wondering why sothing like that would be trying to kill him and who the third being made of light was who saved him & Cassandra from the hellish telepathic vision that unleashed real life reprecussions on the world.

"Fuck it's on the earth.." Keeth let out a gasp seeing the basic spell worked and Rider got up.

"Damn you found it that fast, iI mean that's a good thing, it's not strong enough to hide where is it."

"That's the problem I didn't find it that fast...because of anything good. I found it because it's not in one location it's everywhere & nowhere at the same time. This energy...they released is fueled by something premodial older then most forces...yet it feels fresh to existence, at least this plane." Keeth said now visibly exhausted and sweating from putting together that basic detection spell.

"Damn man that shit drained you so what the hell are we dealing with everywhere and nowhere? You made it sound like it's spread out, or growing like a damn virus." Rider shared some energy with Keeth to rejevnite.

"Exactly the best way to describe it, it's something growing all over the world, it's spreading, and at an alarming rate, if you met this force all the way out on your planet no telling what it's doing across the universe...it felt like..well what it is was ...chaos."

"Chaos?!" Rider said concerned he'd heard of that in stories before, but it was such a reckless and dangerous concept it would wreack havoc across the universe if it was to be given life unless..of course..." Someone..something's harnessed chaos itself...that's what the ritual released, and something or rather someone in our universe fused with it like a symbiote & their spreading it...some type of chaos fueled infection.." Rider said clarifying based on the information Keeth presented from the spell & what he knew from his own investigations across the cosmos. "Damn Jim..this ain't good."

" Alright then ladies, lets begin " Emmet snapped his fingers and the three of them were teleported to the center of a large arena " Welcome too....hmm I suppose it's true name would be byond your understanding, lets call it Colliseum di infiniti, here time has no meaning, making it then perfect place for training, its also very durable, a simple construct I made during my earlier years "

"The Code:Breakers are a... hmm lets say interesting bunch. The standout among them and the voice of reason that's somehow keeping that ship steering straight is Emmet. Despite some members being lets say questionable, they do seem to have each others backs when the time comes. Their certainly not as moral as the SXM. Most of the time they save the Earth not because it's the right thing, but because they live here and it'd inconvenience them if it got destroyed. Maybe it's their more non-nonchalant attitude as to why I kinda like them, given my own background. You have to admit Yamairo's preachiness starts getting tiresome after a while.

So far the groups stopped the Goblin Force, stopped yet another Shawkun scheme, has helped stopped the recent demon invasion and has earned enough trust with Scott that there is now a permanent portal linking our Earth 616 to Scott's Earth 1, as you clearly see behind me. So yea, been pretty eventful.

I was also with Avengers for a short while, we rescued Tanya from Hel. Oh yea, for some reason Tanya and Sandra are at each others throats, I have no idea why but it seems like Tanya started it. I wouldn't be surprised in Tanya and Sandra end up battling it out, any time they are in the same place Tanya will just not cut Sandra any slack at all. She's certainly gotten under Sandra's skin, that's for sure. It's been entirely amusing to watch, well not for Sandra, or Phoenix itself who's Tanya's also pissed off, or for Katy and likely not Emmet. But for me it's been hilarious seeing how this unfolds.

So yea, it has not been boring.

Tanya instantly spawned a clone and simply said "Angel", the clone understood and the world seemed to literally morph and shift around them. They found themselves on Angel's doorstep, drinks still in hand, and the clone had gone. Tanya seemed to have really embraced her accent into godhood, Kano remembered when her clones had no power, then they got basic and simple mutant powers, now Tanya can spawn in clones they seem to bend reality or existence around them. To think this women was once such a low ranked mutant that she barely exceeded human levels. Taking a sip of her drink Tanya spoke up "And here we are."

Cassandra looked up from checking on Abby, looking Dakota in the eyes. "I know this is a scary situation for you, but listen to me, calm down. Panicking and jumping to conclusions won't get us nowhere." Cassandra looked back down to Abby, she had passed out during the attack but should be alright and reawaken soon enough. Cass knew there was a risk going into Dakota's mind but never expected a reaction this intense.

"Look this isn't the work of demons. I think there is something else going on here, it's almost like you are fighting with two other entities for control of your body. Visions of Fusion are concerning, simply put he was the evil version of Milo Ventro. If he's back and involved somehow in this then we're in some real deep shit, however I wouldn't worry to much just yet. It's possible if there is someone else trying to take you over, then that person or thing knows of Fusion. The memories of Fusion could just be a side effect, memories from whoever that dark entity is.

Regardless, we seem to have a allie on our side. If not for that light entity there is a strong possibility all 3 of us would of died just then.

Both girls got ready and came at Emmet starting off with a basic series of strikes, Katy seemed a bit more adopt and precise in this regard, Sandra clearly knew what she doing and how to throw a punch, but you could tell she was used to using brute force more then actually fighting.

Chulance just nodded the battles with the Goblin Force, stopping Shawkun again, helping out with the demon invasion which he knew where all interesting things. He did consider himself one of the good guys, but when MRD turned on mutant-kind and sided with humanity he stuck with his people.

The mutant smiled "Who the fuck are you and why didn't my power work" Chulance questioned looking up at the mind over matter attacker.

"Oh it dosen't matter who I am, I'm different from who I was, just call me V, or Vance." He said and suddenly caused Chulance pain from teleknatic pressure bypassing his powers as he turned to Tesla and he launched a teleknatic blast at her, then sent forth a blast of radioatic energy at Tesla.

"Smells like you and him have been having a jolly time, the drink always does us good in weird transitational times like this, I don't mean to intrude, but if you have an idea of why I'm already here I'm assuming it's because of your own powers."

It wasn't easy for me to stand against my son...but seeing the future he created for the universe, and the actions of future me that stood with him, I just couldn't allow that. The dreams of the mutant you've been having, has some sort of ties...to Fusion..a mysterious relaitonship in the dreams I had of this situation I sought out the men and was briefly entrapped in a dark realm..a universe..left in ruins by Emperor Fusion...and I witnessed a version of that mutant in battle with the fusion against Emperor Fusion.."

"So this person this mutant has some sort of tie to Emperor Fusion direclty working for him against the resistance, however the little investigation I did into him showed his energy originated from this dimension not Emperor Fusion's."

"I do not share those abilities to determine anything trans-dimension I simply know this man's relationship with Fusion is not over...that future I entered is a present and active future...which means there is a present & active threat..soon after...this nightmare I've been unable to use my powers to look into this matter further...except one brief time I ran into Milo in a dark void and I saw the other mutant from your dreams and a girl in the distance then a bright flash of light then briefly saw a casino in Las Vegas, and what appeared to be an angel or some sort of cosmic being getting ready to launch an attack in the building."

"Interesting..that's very amibigious but it gives me more warning to what Odin said. This being is from here, perhaps another version of him in another universe worked with Emperor Fusion, he sounds like he  was helping him in a big way, so maybe he poses some sort of threat in this universe or even the opposite a key to helping out what do you think about this Tanya?" Kano said questioning his wife of Milo's mother future dreams and dream like omens about the mystery mutant his grandfather's spirit had warned him of.

Dakota sighed this wasn't something he wanted to deal with. He went to his fridge to get his bottle of Hennesey, and began to drink out the bottle straight with no drinks to mix it. He'd struggled with drinking, but he wasn't going to get drunk. He'd wanted a drink since he was on his way to the casino in Vegas.

"So I guess that means we need to track down Monel & the Church of Fusion guys even more then before."

In a fluid turn, he transitioned and caught Katy's wrist, he shifted his stance and slammed his palm into Katy's solar plexus and tossed her in one move, slamming her to the ground and holding her arm in a lock " Katy, you have more experience, and it shows, you have a warriors tenacity and zeal, but you neglect your leg side, it's marginal, but even that can leave you wide open "

As Sandra came flying back towards then, Emmet kicked Katy up, turned while Katy was still caught in his foot and sent her straight at Sandra, the two slamming into each other and landing on the ground " Hmm, that was less then ideal, but we have a greater a better understanding now. Sandra, you seem to favor punches, so were going to start there " he adopted a fighting stance that seemed reminicent of boxing " Katy, you have a very well rounded style of combat, but there is a connection between that and your ability to control water, we'll go into that over the course of training sessions, now again! "

Tesla had to quickly take her diamond form to protect herself, especially with radiation involved. She quickly tried to reason with this newcomer. "Wait! What are you on about, who the hell is "him"?" This guy showed up and randomly started attacking them, unlikely as it was Tesla had to at least see if this wasn't some kind of mistake.

"Regardless if this man is servant or simply a gateway, we have to find him. We at least have a city to start in. Between Fusion and the Church it seems our plate is filling up quite fast." Tanya wondered if maybe they shouldn't divide their efforts. While Tanya would love to do it herself, Kano did know what this mutant looked like so he'd be the best bet to track him down. Meanwhile Tanya could deal with the Church.

"Thank you" Cassandra said in response to Dakota's compliment. It was pretty obvious Dakota was attracted to her, hopefully that didn't complicate things. Dakota hasn't made a move on her, so maybe it was best for now not to tell him she already had a boyfriend. There was something serious going on with this man, and Cass didn't want him to walk away after getting shot down. Although if Dakota did try to cross the line, Cass would be forced to say no.

"As for how I know Milo, yes I've worked for the SXM and am still willing to help them if they ever need me. Currently you could say I work for another name maybe you've heard of, Emmet."

Fighting like this was really a foreign concept to Sandra, it really opened her eyes to just how much she'd come to rely on the Phoenix and her mutant powers, without them she was quite lacking. It looked like this time Emmet wanted to match her fighting style, no doubt planning to beat her at her own game. Katy wanted to try a different approach, Sandra went at Emmet and Katy knew she had to act quick as it was obvious Sandra couldn't match up to Emmet in regards of this kind of fight, at least not on her own.

As Sandra clashed with Emmet Katy moved quick to get around to his backside while he was still fighting Sandra off. Going for a tag team attack Katy closed in behind Emmet and applied a Full Nelson restricting Emmet's arms so Sandra could lay some hits.

Roberta was genuinely surprised no one brought up Eva's pussy potentially causing his metal dick to rust away. "I'm still waiting for you to announce this was just a joke Riku, but if you really want to be president I could help out. I know a few people you might want to get rid of to make things easier."

Many brave captains of merchant ships have allowed refugees to use their vessels to escape terrible conditions. While the legality of these actions are in question, what is actually terrifying is that crew of many of these ships have gone missing. The Coast Guard nearby nations have discovered several cargo vessels completely empty. The cargo and belongings of these refugees are seemingly untouched but the people are gone. There hasn't been any communication from the German military on these events but many are afraid that these people have been abducted by the German military."

"We will have more news on these developments as soon as they come in."

Unknown Location

A seemingly endless amount of cocoons covered the walls of the massive cave. Many were empty, but out of the thousands that were empty dozens had sleeping humans within them. The cave was dark with basically no light, no light but the crimson glow within the eyes of its denizens. In the central chamber 12 individuals were gathered. One of them seemingly on a stone throne and watched down on the rest as if they were subjects. They all appeared human, but one had wings and another horns. They all seemed to vary in appearance with physical appearances more akin to other species. Their leader looked like a normal blonde caucasion woman.

"I need more."

With a command one of the cocoons was flooded with a liquid that melted the person within nearly instantly. The cocoon was connected to a tube that led to the central chamber. The exit was near the stone throne, and as the liquid left it seemed to float in the creature's mouth. "More"

Many of the humans began melting on command and were transported to the makeshift throne room. As she fed more cocoons in the room began to form, but they were different. It was as if they were makeshift wombs. "MORE! The King must be born."

"You've worked with him remnants of his stench are upon you, and I will eradicate you and all who serve him." The man who called himself V or Vance balked before moving to Tesla at super speeds and kicking her with superhuman strength.

"Aye stop." Chulance ran towards the man who turned to kick Chulance who adapted moving at speeds to dodge then coming forward with an attack only for the man to vanish and cause the ground beneath Chulance to vanish causing him to fall several feet adapting to fly up and to safety.

"Quite the annoying power to deal with, I will kill both of you, I will KILL HIM!!" The man screamed and fired a massive blast of energy that turned to blue fire only for Chulance to adapt to summon a shield to save them from burning and the man vanished." Who the hell was he Tesla?!

"So I'll continue to keep up with my search. Hmm let's see cosmic virus, mutant on earth with connection to Emperor Fusion, him being back, and this church of fusion fanatics." Kano discussed eveyrthing with his wife as they exited Angel's home.

"Looks like your friend is pretty beat up...but enough with the fucked up visions of this Future motherfucker, what about my powers. I discovered them when I was attacked by some demons during the recent invasion I've had some sort of energy powers ever since then. But now it's like my powers are more sporadic..like I'm dipping & dabbling into different powers super strength, some type of self healing, mind reading, darkness teleportation me across the country, moving things without touching them what kind of power is this, you seem like you might be an expert on this."

"So it's alien and supernatural threats combined, how about that for a treat, now we just need a mutant to join them and it's another unholy trio."

Rider used his powers and transported them to a random village where bullets were flying. Rider moved at super speed and get some people to safety. An hysterical woman ran up to them. "Please help our soldiers have gone mad, started shooting at each other, some are hurt, some dead, people in the village are scared, we've lost communication with the govenrment please where you sent to save us."

"Sent to save." Rider was stunned about being warped in the village. Suddenly a bomb of tear gas went off near him, and Keeth turned to the Ghost Rider unleashing hellfire on a cyborg android that launched the attack melting it, Rider tried to summon his powers to turn the cyborg into a melted slushie but failed and the burned machine launched a rocket Rider kicked it back into the android then summoned his board flying forward and diving his board into hte android's chest then ripping it in half. Keeth rode over on his hellcycle.

"What the hell happened."

"My powers were acting up I tried to turn this war machine into melted ice and failed, Luke be careful, something's going on, I didn't mean to bring us in here, looks like some sort of war broke out here, soldiers turned nuts, and they have an android looks like setinel weaponry..thought..SXM got rid of all of that back in the day. We need to take out any of these soldiers, but not hurt them, and get any innocents to safe, might be a reason my powers brought us here."

"A god damn loon, that's who that was." Tesla said, returning to normal form. It seemed she was just as lost as Chulance was. "Hey, thank you." Tesla ad to admit she was pretty grateful Chu had been around.

"I've been wondering if Monel has anything for us, if we should not split our efforts. I should be able to handle the Fusion fanatics. Meanwhile you can be finding the mutant from your dreams. We've been there before Kano, Fusion cannot be allowed to return no matter what. It would be most beneficial route to take." Tanya wasn't sure how keep Kano would be the idea, but it only made sense. There was two of them, and two threats that had to be stopped. So both would take one threat each.

"Abby got hit pretty hard, but don't worry she's a tough one, she's not going to fall that easily. Just let her rest up." Cassandra chuckled a bit when asked about switching teams. "Well our new president Riku is a member of Emmet's group, so we could end up getting better funding." Cassandra had a lighthearted tone talking about funding and stuff. "But no on a more serious note, my mother Sandra became a Code:Breaker, you may know her, possibly for the better or possibly for the worse as Phoenix. I helped in the battle against Godric, aka the Goblin, and then afterwards it just kinda felt right to make the move, ya know."

When Dakota talked about his powers Cassandra could only draw one conclusion. "The true expert on this would of been Milo, but that option is no longer possible. To me it all comes back to what's going on inside you, whoever those dark and light figures are most certainly has something to do with your powers.

"Your powers are fucked man, that's why they brought us here. But since we are here, lets help these people out." Luke took his metal form and started knocking soldiers out.

"Your welcome I'm just trying to figure out who that was obviously they were crazy, I didn't recognize him enemies you know of." He asked figuring they might have been after the Code Breakers. "He kept talking about killing him and serving Him?"

Kano was unsure about that with his powers not working as well or having acted up recently he was more comfortable with working with Tanya but he didn't want to be a burden either. "I suppose I can go hunting this mutant myself, how do you plan on finding this church of fusion however?"

"Yeah I'm not blaming her that realy look like it hurt, and yall got hte new president in yall group yall really winning at this point." Dakota had to admit he was impressed it was cool to have the president on your team.

"Shit maybe I'll look into the whole being a superhero gig one day ya know, I mean if I can get a hang on my powers, find out what they are even." He listened to her explain about her family and people.

"Damn your mom is Phoenix that's why your mind powers are so strong, it must be something being around people that known or famous and powerful. Don't like some random dark and light forces in my head affecting my powers whatever they are. "So then now what for me I mean? Do I go seek out the SXM or the Code Breakers or some time just lay low until my powers act up again? " He focused and made a sphere of energy appear in his hand then dissipate. Luckily nothing haywire happened with the brief use of his powers nor any painful memories

"Yeah well I didn't ask for these problems." Rider put up a force field then converted it into a wave of energy launching it forward to take down some of the soldiers, while Keeth handled the remaining with his chain.

"Alright that seems to be all of them, wonder what the hell is going on with em."

"Well not the best guess, but probably the damn virus has something t odo with it." Rider used his powers and caused some metallic restaraints to materialize around three of the soldiers. "I say we take them to the SXM and see what we can find out, Ezekiel can help out, at this point I'll go to Jame see what he can get from running through their minds, I'll get Ezekiel to get some equipment to help me run through their energies see if I can figure out what's going."

"Great well...I'm going to follow up on the lead Cas gave me, Zadkiel being buddy buddy with the winged enforcers dosen't make since and I'm guessing it has something to do with this. I'll keep in contact send me back to Amber's place."

Rider waved his hands using the cosmic to teleport Keeth back to Amber's manor then brought Luke, himself, and the three unconscious detained soldiers back to the SXM Headquarters. "Go get James and brief him on the situation, I'm going to put these guys in some cells, and go find Ezekiel." Rider picked up the three soldiers and walked towards the cells while using his powers to send Ezekiel a message to his phone.

Troy woke up to be surrounded by destruction and seeing a massive war take place. He saw various visions of war across the universe before finally he appeared in a deserted field nearby a city on fires, and suddenly Milo Ventro appeared in-front of Troy beaten and bloodied stepping forward before shifting into Fusion.

"Troy...Cosby...my friend we meet again." The entire universe around them was shifting, and the sky red, and the sounds of war in the distance

"This is all my doing, attempting to subjugate the world for Fusion. To bring about a universe, and eventually multi-verse under my rule, and to think I was stopped by none other then myself...a version of myself...my greatest enemy was truly me." Fusion said using his power he summoned a chair and the injured villain collapsed into it.

"I brought you here telepathically Troy none of this is real, your just now getting this message, but I am long gone. The world, no the universe will suffer for what happened to me, but all in due time. Saving the universe is no longer one of my goals you yourself a future version of me told me how pointless of an obsession it was if only I'd listened. Anyway I'm coming to you for one reason Troy, I need your help and I'm still alive. Whatever happens as it stands your one of my friends..." He reached in his pocket and took out a device handing it to Troy. "That right here is the key to my regeneration, I used my powers to put both a beacon & a message in that device for me. I'm on earth as we speak I have an offer for you help get that device to me & help restore my power and I will grant you true immortality & 50 million dollars. Deal or no deal?" He said looking at his fiery friend.

"Well at least he's gone now. I don't who this "him" is, would been nice if the jerkoff gave us name." Tesla clearly had no idea what that guy was all about.

Kano knew she'd likely use a clone or combination of clones, the abilities she could spawn in via them seemed to be endless, if she wanted to find something it's most likely she had ways to succeed. "First though, lets check on this virus problem." Tanya took herself and Kano to Monel to check in the situation.

Cassandra considered their options. "Hmm I'd like to get inside your mind again, but we can't risk it without some help. Even for a telepath of my level the potential dangers are to high, and you don't even wanna know what type of destruction can be caused if these things are even able to mess with Phoenix, as unthinkable as the thought is, it had happened before. No, if we're going to try this again we need some protection from potential invasions of out minds or bodies. I might have some contacts that maybe could help us."

Dakota questioned why Cassandra wanted to get back into his mind, she'd already seen all his thoughts. She responded "I've seen your recent memory, but of times the mind hold secrets locked deep within. Your mind could have intel on things you don't even know, memories or details either lost to age or suppressed due to trauma. Before we jump ahead of ourselves I want to get as complete of a picture as we possibly can about what's happening. I would if possible also like to converse with whoever or whatever is inside you.

Let me make a call in to Ironman, he might have some supplies lying around that could help us."

Troy was enjoying a strange but pleasant dream where he was in war with German's, his first encounter didn't go his way but he was the catalyst for success and come the second battle the tide had changed drastically. However just as he was about to win it all his dream changed to Milo. Even dead this fucker was still talking to him, not that he minded to much. Troy took the device and looked over it. "So your saying the key to you existence is in my hand? Oh baby talk about jackpots. So what would happen to you if this thing was somehow destroyed?"

"Yeah well I'm sure we'll find something out about him sooner or later. What do you say we find something to do to pass the time then?"

"You've always been resourceful to me babe." Kano chuckled maybe this wouldn't so bad after all. At least they weren't dealing with some global invasion or something of that nonsense, problems they could handle.

"With you against them I'll be praying for the fusion fanatics to just spill the beans for their own safety." He spoke before they were brought back to the lab where Monel seemed hard at work with the Asgardian guards around him.

"Any updates Monel?"

"None as of yet...I need a sample of the energy, it would have made a world of difference if we had Surfer in our captivity to study the energy...I'm going to need to find a host, using the technology I brought from my planet and your people's magic I'm putting together a system that should be able to detect alterations of energy or infections caused by them..which should lead us to the virus..in theory..maybe reveal some other bad energy spreading around earth you people might want to handle." Monel scoffed to think his research might actually benefit the very people he wanted to stop outside of this virus.

"So basically still working hmm." Kano exited the room with Tanya and looked at his hammer as if it would provide him answers of sorts. "I need to head to Atlanta to begin my search of this mutant, my dreams, Angel's dreams, it's all connected somehow. Monel's looking into the virus, and my people are standing by to see if he pulls a fast one. So there's nothing we can do about this virus right now, I guess the best thing to do would be to begin both of our investigations.

"Messing with Phoenix damn...I figured anything like that was probably one of the times the world was really in for some shit huh." He didn't have full detailed knowledge on many forces that were an active threat to Phoenix or the strongest of earth's defenders but figured it wouldn't be good and hoped the forces in his head weren't one of them because he'd feel less safe then he already was.

Suddenly Cassandra's cell began to ring and when she answered a hologram of Aaron appeared.

"Stark speaking, ah Sandra's daughter, what do I owe the pleasure" Aaron spoke and Dakota was quiet holograms...the SXM and the Avengers were league above them in technology, and here he thought face-time was good.

"Go head ask him, not like I know what we need from the Avengers." Dakota spoke not knowing what they'd need.

Fusion glared at Troy as he spoke handing over the device. He didn't want to put all his eggs in one basket, but he wanted to get back together at all costs, and there were few people he could trust at this point. He was one of them.

"If that was destroyed...well my very existence would be in jeopardy, probably be gone for good." He decided to speak matter of factually there was no point in trying to lie. Suddenly Fusion's form shifted to that of Milo who seemed bewildered and looked around seeing Troy.

"Troy..what the...Fusion damn it...look Troy..I dunno what he told you but I need your help man, please help me get back together...I..I.." Milo's form shifted back to Fusion who chuckled and winced in pain.

"As you can see where a package deal....not only can you save Milo's life I'll keep my end of the bargain cash & immortality Mr. Cosby. And of course no matter what happens...I'll always have your back... I'm on earth living as a mutant with energy powers named Dakota Jameson. " With that the vision faded and Troy would awaken with the key he'd been given in the telepathic vision as well as some files stolen from a Government database with information on Dakota Jameson & some of his family members.

"So you choose to wake me up Ventro, you clearly miss me and everything I did for you."

A vision of Fusion was seen, it seemed Fusion had sent out two distress calls one to a male and one to a woman. The male obviously was Troy, and Fusion shifted into Milo staring at the woman.

"You bitch....Fusion you bastard, of course he would send a message to you as well. I won't let you get away with what you did and I." Suddenly Milo shifted back to Fusion who laughed and extended a hand to her.

"I'm on earth right now as a mutant Dakota Jameson, you vanished after everything is said and done. The sorcerers Amber Parker sealed away our paradise, but let's bring it back together, so we can unleash punishment on the multiverse for their sins...just as we once planned baby." He smiled, and the woman grinned and kissed Fusion before he faded away, and everything faded away only for a mansion to appear and the woman was getting her nails done using her powers she caused the person to stop and push htem away.

"Ma'am I'm sorry I." Before he could speak his neck was teleknetically broken, she turnd to two others in the room and glared. "WHAT?!"

The two shuffled out and she stood up and smiled. "Finally I'm awake, and in my senses again, and he's back on earth, Amber you stupid bitch you were a fool to meddle in things beyond your understanding, but you were merely an interference, Fusion is the perfect conduit, and he will be used to create my perfect world." She smiled and left the room with her now dead employee. "Now to find him, and what better way to get things started with this." She lifted her finger gathering magical energy and snapped.

James was coming with Luke to the soldires, a chaos virus, he could see why Rider, Keeth, & him wanted to keep this quiet.

"We can't let word of this spread too far your right, I'll look through those soldiers minds carefully and see what I can find." James decided and went over to the quarters to speak to the soldiers, while Rider had brought Ezekiel and was using the power cosmic to amplify some of his technology to help with looking into the captured soldiers for signs of the virus.

"Something is coming Rider, you found this all the way in space, and now there's signs of these soldiers potentially being involved."

"Yeah James they messed with my powers, honestly I want to stick around and help out here on earth, but sooner or later I gotta go back to Zenn Lavia, I have a bad feeling about all this."

"I understand, but we need you here, besides if there's anyone that can keep Zenn Lavia safe it's the Silver Surfer, your dad's powerful."

"Your right James it's just....I'm worried." Rider sighed not knowing how valid his fears about the whole situation really where. As Luke left to go seek some other people he was knocked down by a frantic Nick.

"Oooh! Luke I'm sorry! Listen I need your help, it dosen't make sense, but she's back! She's back! Luke she's back." Nick was struggling & failing to fight back tears in his eyes not being clear about who was back.

"Sure, anything you had in mind?" Tesla asked.

"It seems so. I will send you to Atlanta, since this virus seems to be having some effect on your powers, try not to use more then you need to. You don't need to show off, you just need to get the job done. I will find those Church Of Fusion people and see what they know." Several clones of varying abilities appeared around Tanya and Kano. Tanya gave Kano a kiss and wished him luck, Kano then disappeared arriving instantly in Atlanta. Back on Asgard the queen was waiting patiently, her clones was already focused on finding the Chruch group and at least one was bound to find them."

Cassandra spoke up not needing Dakota's permission to do so, though she didn't snap back at his comment as she understood this all must have been stressful for him. "Aaron do you have any devices that can aid in prevent outside intrusion to my mind or body. I'm trying to help this mutant, I've already been into his mind once but it almost ended badly for all of us. Somehow my telekinese activated and turned against us while I still telepathically linked with him, Abby even took a hard hit and got knocked out. I want to get back into this mutants mind, to try to figure out what's going on here. But I don't feel it wouldn't be safe to do so unless we can somehow prevent another attack.

If you also have anything that can help sedate this mutant Dakota's powers, then it would be for the best to do all we can to play this safely as possible.

Troy casually fiddled with the key, tossing it in the air and catching it in his hand. "So Milo's fate rests in this device huh? How interesting indeed." Troy had a lot to think about. Friends, consequences, rewards, this was not a average decision Troy could make lightly.

Luke was intending to seek out his old SXM running buddies in Metallic and Jim, but it seems like Nick had presented himself as a potential ally instead. "Nick stay with me buddy, who is she? What do you know?"

Chiang led Nick out to a balcony to the north of the Meditation Room. From this balcony, they could see beautiful snow-capped mountains that seemed to be crowned with clouds. It was a very tranquil and relaxing scene, though Nick would soon learn that they were here on business. Waving his hand, Chiang created a large dart board that looked to be made of glass with a bluish tint.
"I want you to blast that target with the most powerful Shell Cannon that you can muster."
Nick nodded and prepared to use his signature technique.

With both feet forward, he bent his knees and drew his right hand to his waist palm up as his left fist went up and outward. This was a traditional Karate stance for throwing a punch, one of the first his brother Richard had taught him several years ago when Nick was a child. He began to build up his mutant energy so that his fist glowed brightly with a white light. Nick had been using this technique since he had first enrolled in Shadowgreen, and over the years with hard work and practice, it had grown even stronger. Small waves of force emanated from his feet as he built up the power, blowing Chiang's robe and hair like a slight breeze each moment. Focusing on the target, Chiang noted that the white energy seemed to be encompassing his entire arm and glowing brighter by the moment as the waves of force increased in intensity.

When the white light completely enveloped Nick's arm, he thrust it forward in a circular motion, a textbook-perfect Karate punch.
"Shell Cannon!"
A massive blast double the width of Nick's body exploded forward with great force, hurling at the target with speed far exceeding one hundred miles per hour. It struck Chiang's target and shattered it before continuing to blaze a path through the sky. It went into the in-between space between the realms and there finally fizzled out. Smiling proudly, Nick turned to Chiang held up his fist with his elbow bent.

"How was that, Master?"
"Very well done," Chiang said as he nodded in approval, "But that is only half of 1% of your potential power."
Nick's eyes widened, feeling like he had put half of his total power into that blast.
"You really think I can become that much more powerful?"
"Yes, you will eventually have power that dwarfs that blast you just used. I actually brought you here so that you could see the difference in power with what you have already gained."

Nick looked a bit puzzled.
"How so?"
"Just do as I say and all will become clear."
Chiang created another target in the sky with a wave of his hand.
"Now close your eyes and remember what it was like when you were meditating. Remember falling through the water as you tried to find your center."

Nick closed his eyes and took the same stance that he had before. In his mind, he imagined trying to find his center, like falling through a bottomless ocean. As he did so, an aura flared up around him and produced a light breeze similar to the waves of power before. The more he focused in his mind, the greater the intensity of the aura as it put out waves of power.
"Now focus your energy into a Shell Cannon."
Nick nodded and his fist began to glow white once more, though the brightness and intensity was much greater in a more rapid fashion than before.

Nick still felt like he was sinking within his mind, like he was in a state of half meditation trying to find his center. The white energy enveloped his entire arm in a matter of moments, and was shining much more intensely with waves of force pushing Chiang back step-by-step. Gradually, an intense aura began to envelop his entire body and seemed like a white flame engulfing him, able to be seen from anywhere in Nirvana. Chiang closed his eyes and entered his own state of half meditation, ready to sense when Nick found his center. Nick continued to sink within his mind until he saw the same glowing yellow sphere in front of him. When he reached out and touched it, the outline of his Shell Cannon began to grow until it had over quadrupled in size by his side, the intensity of his aura and the waves of force increasing exponentially.

"Now! Fire your blast and open your eyes!"
"Shell Cannon!" Nick shouted as his fist shot forward and he opened his eyes.
A much more massive blast shot forward from him and obliterated the entire target before continuing on into the in-between space. This blast went much farther before fizzling out, almost reaching the borders of another realm. Nick's eyes were wide and he was stunned speechless in the difference between how much bigger and more powerful this blast was.

Chiang smiled and folded his arms behind his back.
"That was 10% of the total power you are capable of putting out. Quite a difference, wouldn't you say?"
Nick smiled and clenched his fists after looking at them for a moment.
"I'm ready to get even stronger, Master," he said, turning to Chiang with a determined look.
"Then let us return to the Meditation Room and continue tapping into your power."

Inside of the Training Area, Hans was beginning Course A. The first segment of which was a dead sprint that if his armor was not encumbering him he should be able to do in one minute. Pumping his legs, Hans raced down the track and completed it in forty-five seconds, much to his satisfaction. The next part of the course were four large stair step like platforms that he would have to jump up to. After completing these jumps, his next challenge would be to wall run across to another platform. This would be the most crucial test of his armor's weight, since if he got dragged down too far, he would fall off and fail the course challenge.

Taking a deep breath, Hans jumped onto the wall and planted his feet before running along it. He had to move quickly in order to defy gravity, and so he did. When he reached the end of the wall, he planted his feet and jumped onto the next platform. As soon as he landed, virtual reality enemy soldiers appeared to begin firing at him. The chest plate on Hans' armor opened and the Gatling gun popped out, spraying them with a hailstorm of bullets as he made a single sweep. With all of his enemies defeated, he walked forward to the center of the platform, which signified that he had completed the course.

The virtual reality rendering faded away and Hans exited the Training Area door. Checking the time for Course A, he smiled proudly to see that he had completed the course in exactly five minutes. This was even better than his previous time of five minutes and twenty seconds. The new layer of armor was working out perfectly, but there was still much work ahead of him. He would need to create armor that could withstand Nick's blast and also polish up his hand-to-hand skills. He was determined to win this rematch, and planned to be as thorough as possible in his continuing preparations.

The moment Katy her arms around Emmet, he brought his hands together in a classic holder for the full nelson, immediately making Katy yelp and let go of him. With no wasted movement, he ducked low and performed a sweeping kick, knocking both women off their feet and bringing himself up for another kick that knocked Katy and Sandra all the way into the stands. Emmet immediately gave chase, snapping his fingers and summoning music to fill the arena. The three sparred throughout the stands. try as they might, but neither woman was able to land a hit on Emmet or block any of his strikes. Accompanying the music, Emmet's voice flowed with it perfectly as he dispenced advice and critism.



" Katy! Your balance is thirty degrees to the right, correct it. Sandra, you call that a punch? This is a punch!*POW* "

Time didnt exist in this space, but some point later, Emmet returned to his throne and brought them back to his office. He appeared to be in good spirits as Sandra and Katy were bruised head to toe. But neither could deny there had been results, Emmets words had been taken to heart, even if they hadnt realized it, each suggestion was immediately applied, he amidst throwing mad hands, he'd shown them multiple techniques, all basic level, but effective.

He summoned tea and biscuits with jam and honey, he took a sip from his cup before speaking " Well that went as expected, you both possess excellent potential at combat, yes Sandra you are lacking, but if you trully apply yourself I see no reason for you to go far with it. We'll also work on application powers, but that will come at a later date. Katy, as I said before, your ability can play a further part in your fighting style. Water is the element of change, as your more then aware of. You can turn into and control all of its phases, but can you embody it, in mind? That you will have to see, do either of you have any questions? "

He cackled madly, making Tanesha roll her eyes, more then used to these bouts of insanity " Ok so what? You bowin out now? "

Riku smiled darkly " Fuck no, i'm gonna lead that fucking country to the very best of my abilities, well my and my wonderful vice president, just imagine, I win and do a good, no amazing job. It'll piss them all off even more, besides having control over an entire country is just too fucking awesome to pass up on, cant promise how long i'll keep this up, but it'll be a good while of being on top "

Eva was mildly impressed " So whats next after that, the world? "

" Pfft, please, the world belongs to HIM, I wouldnt be so brazen or stupid to even attempt that " the all automatically knew who he was referring too " Just gonna take this one day at a time, starting with flooding the white house with my own personal demonic staff, oooh and stripper poles! But on the matter at hand. Robbie I like your idea, I'm aware that more then a few people are plotting my downfall, apparently including some order of light and heros some bullshit.
