Heroes Uprising: Alternate Universe (Thread 3)

Roberta stepped out the ring a few seconds after Tesla was knocked out of it. This gave her time to get back into the ring. "This is tiring"

The low gravely voice was followed by a growl. The world seemed to slow around Roberta as a large dog with dark thick fur and four red eyes sat in front of her. It grinned showing massive teeth and decided to repeat itself. "This is tiring. Just destroy her and lets move on."

"Who the he-" her mouth shut itself. Roberta felt her own body move and a odd blood lust rush through her. It was greater than usual and now it was aimed at Tesla. Time still seemed to slow down or was it her movement that was increased. Either way she felt power rush through her healing the broken arm completely. It was like she could destroy this ring with barely any effort, but this power didn't feel like hers. As her body moved towards Tesla Roberta knew what was going to happen.

"Stop." she said, able to move her mouth but not much else. "I said..." control of her right hand came back to her "STOP!" with a flick of her finger a shock wave blew Tesla away from Roberta and even hit everyone in the stands to a lesser degree. Of course by now time was up. The hound disappeared and Roberta felt a cold sweat run down her face. Losing the fight didn't really effect her. Roberta knew what would've happened if she got her hands on Tesla and that thought scared her.

The last part of the fight was just as confusing to Tesla as it was anyone else. Who was she shouting at, and what was that shock wave? Reverting to her normal form Tesla walked over to the edge of the ring, she looked down at Roberta kinda worryingly. "What the hell was that all about? Are you feeling alright Roberta?"

Many in the back where a bit surprised by the outcome having pegged Roberta as the winner, while others where also wondering what that ending was all about. Sandra commented on the whole situation saying "That was weird. Roberta was acting like somebody possessed in the end, like she was fighting with herself."

Nina was getting a strange feeling from that girl. There was something darker about her. Nina recognized the sensation of blood lust, a sensation that was key to her very own survival. But what exactly was causing it within this Roberta girl?

Julie kept quite on the situation feeling it was not her place to speak up, however her gut instinct told her that Tesla narrowly avoided mortal danger and most likely death.

With Roberta's surrender, the match was over. The entire audience had been enthralled as the two female brawlers went at it for what felt like hours without a winner being declared. The matches end got a views from boo's but for the most part people applauded the two girls.

Riku, while reclining in a chair he conjured, had been half watching the match and half watching porn on his phone, but he sat up a litter straighter at the end of the fight, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up as he felt the overwhelming bloodlust coming from Roberta, the kind that he generated on a daily basic but had never felt from her and what was with the dog? " I wonder if the betting pool for this is still open, I would have put money on Roberta, but I kinda like that Tesla won, almost like it sticks a cork in some bitter bitch, dunno why but good job girls, that was decentish "

Kano seemed to be able to see it as well and was regarding it with speculative eyes, Emmet had been taking note of both girls capabilites for future, but the ending took an unexpected turn when a shift happened in Roberta and she dropped out of the match, he could feel her emotions, the bloodlust and the fear of it, the match could have had a deadly end to it, Emmet suddenly realized how tensed his body was, as if he were preparing to spring forward and realized he most likely would have.

Mr.Ref promply kicked both girls out of the ring " Well that was pretty action packed, sucks that no one was seriously injured, but lets keep our fingers crossed for this next one!! "

Kano VS Mary

Kano cracked his knuckles in excitement " Finally, I could barely contain myself, watching everyone get their chances to fight, the time as come for this son of Thor to do battle! " he launched himself into the ring, just as it was tidied up and made a small crater " Now where is this Mary, step forward and let our glorious battle begin! "

Mr.Ref sighed dramatically " Oh the abusive relationship this ring is in, anyway contestant Mary back it up into the ring please "

" Ooooh, his highness is about to fight! " Shizuka said excitedly " Lets cheer him on guys since he's one of us "

Gat snorted " Yeah no, i'm rooting for his opponent "

" Oh come on Skirt-Chan, just cause he's kicked your ass and claimed it after every match you've had with him isnt a reason to not cheer for him, I've heard what happens in that room and your loving it "

Gat glared at her " Shut up! I'm tolerating it "

" I didnt realize, harder daddy! Was a show of tolerance "

" You!! "

As the two bickered back and forth, Tabitha muttered a spell under her breath, small, fat pink ball appeared in her hand, it was a minor spirit that she often used for recon jobs. She wanted a better accessment of this match, too many people were showing off fantastic powers for her not to document it.

Tesla would of enjoyed a little more time to basque in the glory of her first round victory, but it seemed that wasn't happening as Mr. Ref sent them to the back. On the way back Tesla heard Mr. Ref complain about the match and in retaliation she promptly stuck up the middle finger to him before disappearing into the back. "Not gory enough, what a stinking load of crap" she commented.

Still she was into the second round, one step closer to victory. It was still pretty early in the first round, so Tesla had plenty of time to rest up and get her bearing straight before the second round. Roberta was certainly more powerful then Tesla had given her credit for, she wasn't expecting to feel some of those later blows even through her diamond form. Strength like that seemed almost unnatural.

Even though many was curious about Roberta, when Tesla returned to the back Sandra was still quick to take a moment and congratulate the girl on a hard fought win. "Great match out there Tesla. I never realized your strength increased as much as your durability when you took on the diamond skin. Not many would be up to the task of trading fists with Roberta."

Roberta heard Tesla's question but ignored her. How could she answer such a question with an answer so unclear? The ref kicked them out and they both went back to the stands. Roberta kept thinking about that moment and could hear the words of that hound in her head. Her heart raced and body tensed. The fear of nearly killing a friend and also the fear of getting pleasure from it was overwhelming. She began breathing fast and almost felt like panicking.

"My my what an ugly scene." those words and a firm hand on her shoulder distracted Roberta from those thoughts. She looked to her right to see Tie who looked at the field as it was being repaired. "A tad long but the fight at least stayed somewhat interesting. Now you however..."

Tie looked the girl up and down and sighed with disappointment. "So much dirt and blood on you. Your hair is definitely a mess. Looks like you have more to worry about than some silly mutt."

Roberta was surprised that Tie saw the creature that she thought was in her head. Before she could ask further Tie waved her hand and a spell was cast. A wave of azure light washed over Roberta bringing her appearance back to a state before the battle. "That Bloodlust you felt out there. The need to rip and tear your way through Tesla won't go away, and I bet you can sense that same bloodlust in others around you. Its nothing special my dear. Keep watching these fights and you'll see how to control it."

Tie left to go back to her seat leaving Roberta to think about those words. It definitely calmed her down and it seemed like a good idea to see how others dealt with this constantly. As she went back to her seat Mary walked to the ring with her hood still covering her face.

Amelia and Jonah looked at her and seemed to immediately recognize her as a demon. Experience from killing those that used a human body like a condom kind of helped. "Looks like we got a de- I mean thot challenging our friendly Asgardian. What can Mary Pillar do?"

"I heard she's a pyrokinetic but that's it. Now if we want to talk about her school life well she's a delinquent. Gets kicked out of school often, pick fights, commits many disgusting sexual acts on a daily basis and is just an all around...thot."

"Damn so someone's trying to steal Riku's fire."

Mary noticed the mention of Riku but decided to pay it no mind for now. When she stepped into the ring the Asgardian was what she was now focused on. His presence made her almost shiver in excitement. She through her hood back revealing tattoos forming all over her face. Demonic symbols that soon spread throughout her body. Anyone familiar with demons noticed they were an odd form of reinforcement that focused on Hellfire to increase one's power. No lower rank demon would use that in fear of being melted alive.

"You know Kano after I beat the shit out of you, we should talk. Probably behind the gym, in the bathroom or hell we can fuck right after the match. I do need a reward."

"Thot." Amelia said clearly on the mic.

Mary angrily flipped her off and shouted "Don't act like you didn't think about getting an Asgardian to make you scream 'HALLELUJAH'!"

Tesla replied with a quick thank you but wasn't really paying Sandra that much mind. She seen Tie speaking to Roberta and waited until she walked away to make one last approach. Tesla had no clue what was up with Roberta, but they where teammates and friends. Tesla didn't want things awkward between them and while she couldn't think of anything to be at fault of, if she did do something then she at least wanted to clear the air best as possible.

Tesla approached Roberta saying a simple "Hey" to get her attention. "Look Roberta I have no idea what was going on out there near the end of our fight, and you seemed to make it clear enough out in the ring that you don't want to talk. You need your space, fair enough I'll back off. But if I did anything out there to piss you off or something, then I'm sorry"

I'm sorry was two words Tesla didn't tend to say very often, if ever even. It speaks volumes to how much Tesla had grown to cherish the friendships she's made in the True Notes, even if she didn't tend to admit it very often and came off frankly as a bit of a self centered brat much of the time, always out to be better then everybody around her. Tesla turned and started walking away, Roberta was sure Tesla felt a sense of danger out there in the ring, but she didn't seem to understand why and seemed to hold some guilt that maybe she did something wrong.

Riku glared at the ring " steal my fire? Fuck that noise, the only demon slut allowed around here is me! Kano take that herpy slerpy bitch down!! And can shut up that back alley abortion trying to pass for commentary "

Those symbols were getting on his nerves, they were serious shit, which meant this bitch probably wasnt going down easy. Noah was thinking the same thing, glaring at her, so many abominations were making their presence known, he would deal with them all soon enough.

Kano moved into fighting stance resembling boxing " Nay, I must decline wench, Riku is the only infernal being I shall bed for he is an opponent and friend that has earned my respect and the pleasures of my mighty cock! The only thing I shall offer you is a sound beating "

Mr.Ref looked back and forth between the two " Well looks like were getting a high energy fight here people, lets not delay YOU CANT ESCAPE FROM CROSSING FATE!! " He vanished and Kano powered up, making the ring vibrate, he charged forward with explosive force, moving so fast that he was practically invisible. Ice coated his fist, electricity crackled around it as his fist slammed into Mary's stomach and sent her flying.

Scott smiled as Kiya ribbed him about his pun with Nina.
"I went with a bad one on purpose."
As the fights were going on, he kept track of the environment around them. Nothing seemed amiss, but with so many powers being revealed and fights happening, something could very well happened that was unscripted to say the least. The guy with the rifle had not returned since vaporizing the chair, and so it seemed like he had not been targeting him. Scott watched the fights as they continued, but his mind was on matters back home and wishing the Shadow Force well in their heroic endeavors.

On impact Mary coughed up blood and was sent flying with explosive force outside the ring. She slammed into the wall so fast it all but shattered sending a plume of smoke into the air. As the count down started Kano's confidence grew but only for a moment. The thought 'maybe this Mary Pillar was all talk' but that thought was gone as he felt a growing surge of pain in his hand coated with ice. The Demonic symbols once on Mary began to slowly travel through his hand. They glowed a bright red and exploded. Even for an Asgardian it was powerful enough to burn away the skin on his hand and cause immense pain.

"Was it good for you?" The smoke disappeared around Mary showing her bloody grin. One could see her bloody stomach healing and even cringe at the sight of the tissue reforming. The same symbols on her skin were now also visible on the wall behind her. "Cus I'm havin fun!" Just like on the Asgardians hand the symbols glowed and formed itself into a glyph before exploding. Mary shot forth with a speed akin to Kano's at the beginning of the match. She reached out for the Asgardian's face with her hand. The feeling of intense danger as if the match could be over from a mere touch nearly overwhelmed Kano.

Kano jumped backwards, all the way to the other side of ring. He glanced at his hand and frowned, it was healing, but much slower then it should and the pain wasnt easing at all. Just what were those symbols all over her body? close combat was ruled out, if his hand was any indicator and that annoyed him. He needed to focus on keeping some distance from them. As Mary continued her charge, the ground started shaking violently.

Kano's eyes were glowing with power as he raised his uninjured hand and ground started to upheave " I am grandson to the great Gaia, the earth is within my control! " jagged spikes of stone jutted out of the shaking ground as it split open, straight towards Mary.

Mary couldn't help but think Kano had good instincts. As the earth shook and split she had only a moment to dodge the spikes. She rolled to her left and charged forward only to notice even more coming for her. She backflipped and evaded several more of the attacks that were keeping her away. Eventually she'd get pushed out of the ring again.

"The Fire that punishes. The Fire that sings." Mary landed on the edge of the ring and lifted one hand up into the air. "CRY OUT FOR ME!!!" She slammed her hand into the ground causing a massive explosion of Hell Fire that shattered the earth in front of her. Molten rock rained down around the ring burning the field around them. Mary still kept her hand on the destroyed ground. Like snakes in the grass more of the symbols she used began to return to her body. "CRY OUT FOR ME!!!"

With one more yell she shot her self forth. The symbols on her body were now even brighter and her body seemed to emit steam. Each step seemed to cause small explosions propelling her forward. She realized the Asgardian would try and keep his distance and was going to test how well he could do it.

A column of earth shot up from Kano's feet, launching him into the air. He could see what Mary was trying to, close the distance between them, he wouldnt let thing go her way, he would claim victory here " ENOUGH PLAYING AROUND FOUL BEAST! " golden electricity crackled around his body, showing his heritage as the son of a thunder god, but he pushed it further, if this wench would use the flames of hell then he would show her the frost of jotunheim.

A spear of lightning appeared in his hands, with the accuracy of an olympic athelete, he sent it straight at her, but behind it came a wave of frost with jagged pieces of ice blades.

"Shit!" she cursed while dodging the lightning. Even a near miss caused her skin to be singed. In one swift motion she spun around and slapped the blades of ice with her hand causing them to explode. As the wave continued she struck against it causing explosiosn of hellfire with a flurry of strikes. Eventually the field turned from fire to ice and snow. Mary stood on the only place that didn't look like a winter wonderland. As Kano readied another attack she gritted her teeth realizing her situation. Kano's power at range was too strong and she needed to create an opening.

"The Fire that punishes." She jumped from the ring to a spot out of bounds. Mary brushed the wall with her hand and dashed to another area just as Kano through a lightning bolt.

"The Fire that Sing." again Mary brushed the wall causing power to surge through her skin. She punched through the wave of ice and continued to dodge lightning bolts.

"The Fire that Lust." the ground opened up causing spikes to attack her but she kept moving.

"The Fire that Hunger."

"The Fire that covets." only seven seconds passed as she was close to finishing her chant. Her left arm was battling the ice that was trying to consume her. Several lightening bolts along with a blizzard soared towards the demon, but Mary had enough power for one last chant. "SING FOR ME!"

In each spot Mary touched a small pentagram formed. Flames connected each one and formed a star and the battlefield was soon ablaze. The lightening and wave of ice were turned into embers just before ripping their way through Mary's body. A cloud of flames appeared over the entire arena as the world around the audience seemed to transform into a hellish version of their world. Mary appeared back onto the ring before time was up and grinned showing her demonic teeth. Even her body seemed to change from a young white teenage girl to a monstrous version of her. Molten rock for skin, lava slowly poured from her eyes and tentacle like appendages for hair. This version of hell was familiar to demons, but was just a mental image and at best a false version of hell brought to the world.

"Asgardian, it was fun but..." the symbols on her skin seemed to snake through the air from a mere thought. They flew to Kano's stone pillar he stood on and exploded destroying it. "There is no where to run now. This is my country Asgardian." A massive orb of darkness and fire formed in front of the demon and spun with increasing speed as power seemed to be gathered for one final attack. "I came here on the promise of strong enemies. Show me that promise wasn't a lie."

There were many things in Tie's memories that were taken from her, but knowledge of this power wasn't. Not many demons could mimic this type of reality marble. "Using a devil's trap to summon your own delusion." she smiled, amused by the spectacle. While it gave one much power it made the user vulnerable. Within a Devil's Trap her movement was limited and a demon's durability would be low. A strong blow from Kano would destroy her here, but getting past the type of power she could summon would be near impossible for those unfamiliar with it.

Riku frowned " The symbols were bad enough, but this delusional bitch is spreading it all around now, reality marbles are a bitch to deal with "

Noah  did not looked pleased either " We need to stop this now, she's overwhelming him and with the activation of a devils trap she's turned this into a picture of hell, we cant take her lightly "

" No, this is Kano's match, were not going to interupt it "

Noah raised an eyebrow " I wouldnt have thought things like honor and dignity mattered to you "

Riku laughed " Your not far off the mark, but I it doesnt what I think, but what Kano does, thats all you fucking jackass mother-!

" Well spoken dawling, this is Kano's battle, we cant disrespect this battlefield and his resolve "

Emmet had floated over to the the two of them, he could sense there was more to this fight then met the eye. The landscape had been warped into a forgery of hell, but Emmet felt an odd sensation from it, his eyes were looking directly through it though he didnt know how but he could see the world pressing against this image, " How good are Kano's chances at victory? "

Riku shrugged " It's up in the air, that bitch is packing some heavy duty equipment but Kano's been holding his own pretty well, he's pushed her into using that form, it looks flashy but it's riddled with weak points, if he can just land a solid hit on her, then he can win "

Emmet nodded and turned back to the battle, much of the field was destroyed and the front rows were evacuated. Kano was currently floating a small platform of earth, he looked around the landscape and felt as though he were literally standing in hell, but his father had told him about reality marbles, very tricky but not impossible to overcome, especially since the world was fighting against this wrongness, she wouldnt be able to keep it up for long, but long enough to best him.

" If you are searching for a strong enemie then you need look no further then i, Kano Thorson, son of Thor, grandson to Odin and Gae!! " Kano's power was swelling up again, his divine blood pulsating in his veins. His right hand was still injured, but he'd had enough of this keep away, it didnt appear that he could do that anymore, so he would face this beast. His resolve strengthened, music suddenly blared to life.



Kano launched himself forward straight at Mary, as one of her tentacles lashed out at him, phased harmlessly through his body and he vanished. Mary didnt have time to be suprised for Kano was coming at her from her right, she attacked, but again he vanished. Suddenly Kano was everywhere, image of him were racing and leaping all over what was left of the stage.

Riku grinned savagely " I see he's finally gotten a hang on the ninja tricks Kaiser's been showing him during our training sessions, Bunshin no jutsu, art of the doppleganger "

Dopplegangers werent the only thing Kano had learned from Kaiser, while Mary was trying to spot the real Kano among the fakes, he crafted large shuriken from ice and coated them in electricity, sending them flying at near the speed of sound. Kaiser had shown him new throwing techniques and Kano had taken to them very quickly. This wasnt going to defeat her fflat out, but it would give him an opening.

Sandra watched on the battle with a bit of amazement, she'd never expected to this level of power. After seeing Emmet and now Kano and Mary, it made her wonder just the other True Notes like Riku may be hiding. She also wondered how Cordelia expected her to do anything against these people. Sandra felt unprepared for this heading in, but was convinced to just try her best and maybe have some fun. However this was turning into some serious stuff.

Nina watched the battle carefully. Either one of these future opponents was going to be trouble. It looked like Kano preferred being up close and personal, much like Nina herself. Usually the vampire liked to overwhelm her opponents with her speed and strength, but that was going to be easier said then done against the son of a thunder god. Meanwhile this demonic bitch was quite strong in her own right going by what was seen, and those symbols along with her reality marble was going to be a pain to get around. The best outcome Nina could see to further her chances was if Kano won this battle, but not without taking enough damage to negatively effect him.

Julie watched on taking things in. It was becoming clear a lot of these fighters wasn't mutants and that was concerning. Someone like Emmet she was pretty sure she could take. Borrow his powers temporarily, drain his strength, she won't go as far to say it would easy, but she thinks she could do it. But demons and gods? She's heard stories and myth's but had been fortunate enough to avoid combat with them. It was a utter toss up if her powers even worked on them. It looks like she would find out soon enough.

In the medic area Katy had woken up by now and sat up on her bed. She was feeling frustrated in herself slamming her fist into the beds mattress. "Damnit, I shouldn't have tried to push ahead with powers I'm still somewhat unfamiliar with. It took to much of my stamina and I basically gave that win away." Katy's pride was hurt, she was always proud of being a fighter so to lose in the first round, first match of a tournament. It was embarrassing, Katy was feeling ashamed of herself knowing she should of done better then this. Sure she had to temper her expectations a little, winning the whole tournament while nice would of been asking a bit much. But going out in the very first match? That was just pitiful in her mind. Katy could probably rejoin the others and watch the rest of the fights, but right now she was unsure if she even wanted to show her face.

Scott continued to watch the matches as they grew in intensity. Kiya also seemed absorbed in them, especially as the competitors poured their hearts into the battle. He thought that perhaps this tournament was grander than he thought it would be. While he still didn't think it was the same was fighting for a cause, it was still bringing out the inner resolve in all of the warriors. Stretching a bit, he continued to watch the fights. He wondered out of all of them which one would be the tournament winner.

Hellfire streaked through the air hitting mere clones of Kano trying to find the enemy. Mary couldn't help but enjoy this fight, but the smile on her face disappeared the moment she saw the Shuriken. Instinctively she stepped back, but at her current speed there was no way to dodge it. Of course even now her confidence never wavered. In a instant the shuriken was completely restrained by both shadows and flames.

"As I said Kano Thorson. This is my nation." even as she spoke each of Kano's clones were suddenly struck by strands of fire and darkness and eventually Kano found himself near completely bounded. He looked up to see the orb of darkness that floated above the ring seemed to extend its reach out to the entire area Mary designated as her nation. He tried to move with all his strength but only felt the powers of hell fight back with even further constriction and flames slowly engulf him. "Still, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. In fact here's a gift from me."

The fire instantly turned into a raging inferno and then an explosion that destroyed most of the ring. The reality marble disappeared revealing a devastated field. Kano still stood even with most of his body charred and devastated and tried to move. But one small step was all he could do before collapsing. Mary was now back in her human form but noticeably exhausted.

Mr.Rep bounced into what remained of the ring and knelt of Kano, the Asgardian was barely conscious and fighting to stand up, but sadly it wasnt to be " 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! and its ovah the winner is Mary " Sounds like a porn name " Pillars!! "

The stands erupted with cheers for the amazing battle they had all just witnessed. Tabitha had been watching the fight very closely, it wasnt everyday you saw an Asgardian battling a demon with a reality marble, sadly Kano had been defeated, which meant this Mary was quite powerful, it appeared that using the reality marble had taken a lot out of her. Tabitha would say she was worried about such a person running around, but given certain people participating in the tournament, she wasnt bothered, she could feel the bloodlust all the way in the stands.

Emmet frowned, Kano had made an amazing comeback, but in the end he'd been defeated, Miss Pillars was a force to be reckoned with, the flames she'd used put Emmet on edge, which just showed how high level they were " Out of the people here, are any of us capable of defeating her? " he'd directed the question at Riku who shrugged

" Honestly most of the people here are likely to get stomped, aside from me, pedo priest, and tits( Tie), this is very much a supernatural thing and one i'd hoped wouldnt leak into this, but no worries "

His tone was light, but the evil energy radiating from him was anything but, you didnt have to be a mind reader to tell that Riku was angry, beyond angry in fact. As the medic team started towards Kano, Riku waled over and waved them away " I'll take him, he can heal on his own but that bitches demonic is fucking him over "

" Let em be " William called from the medic tent. he'd just finished restoring Karens skin and was currently sitting down and carbo loading on some very questionable meat. a full body restoration really took it out of him.

Riku magicked Kano over to combatants waiting section and gently placed him on the ground. Pressing his hands to Kano's back, he started drawing out the demonic essence into his own body, he winced slightly and his features started morphing slightly, horns poking out of his forehead and a tail out the back of his pants. But once he was finished, Kano's body began to rapidly heal itselt " You know...I actually wanted to fight him in this damn thing, maybe more then pedo polly "

He looked over to Mary and smile, his teeth a row of razors " I'm fucking your life up "

The evil energy was visible in the form of black and pink crackles around his body. Noah recoiled back from on instinct and the desire to destroy him was even greater now, but he had to admit that destroying Mary was high up on his list too.

Mr.Rep cleared his throat to regain everyone's attention " That was certainly an action packed battle if I do say so, a pity Thor jr got thrashed(Riku: Eat a dick! ) but at least he did it in a gruesome fashion(Riku: Eat a whole city of dicks! ) and with the new stage in place, lets move onto the next battle!! "

Suddenly there was a flash of bright blue light and a new stage had appeared, though no one could tell exactly how it had happened. Names blurred on the monitor till

Sandra VS Julie

Tanesha hugged Sandra " it's your turn gurl! Good luck " pitched her voice a little lower " And thankfully your not fighting anyone crazy "

Emmet put a comforting hand on Sandra's shoulder " You'll do well dawling, just keep your head clear and read the flow of battle, if you can make the flow go in your favor then you'll be in good standing for victory, have confidence in your powers and yourself "

Sandra gave a semi nervous yet confident nod towards Emmet. Considering she'd died in battle before Sandra was unsure why she felt this way. Was it the crowd watching, or was it fear of disappointing all her friends? Sandra gave Tanesha a quick kiss and thanked both her and Emmet for their kind words then started her to float her way way out to the ring.

Katy entered back into the arena, staying back behind the crowds. It appeared she'd come back just in time to see one of her students fight. Sandra touched down gently on the ring, Julie was already waiting for her. Sandra had hung out with Julie for a bit, she was kinda a honorary True Note and Sandra felt some kind of connection towards the girl. It wasn't like with Tani though, this feeling was different. While the girl was still largely a unknown, Sandra at least knew this battle would just be competition, not filled with ill intent. Before the match started Julie walked forward and offered her hand to Sandra, the move was unexpected but Sandra accepted the handshake and both girls took a slight bow. Sandra read the surface thoughts of Julie's mind to show respect prior to battle, but be it being naive or just to trusting of those she considered friends, Sandra failed to read Julie's alternative motives hidden deeper in her mind, that being to stall for just those few extra seconds.

Julie's powers was already in effect well before the match even started, the handshake ended with Sandra looking a bit confused hearing Julie's voice in her head say "thank you". Mr.Rep would call for the start of battle and Sandra would quickly find herself on the floor after a quick spin kick from Julie. Julie's boot left it's mark on the side of Sandra's face, she looked up just to see Julie waiting and say "you wasn't ready", which admittedly Sandra wasn't.

Sandra stood to her feet. "Point taken, I won't drop my guard again!" Sandra quickly used her telekinetic powers to drag Julie towards her, Sandra would stop Julie's forward momentum with a knee to the stomach. Sandra would follow up with a few more strikes before using her powers again to throw Julie back, sending her out of the ring and crashing spine first into the wall before falling to the ground. Katy silently nodded in approval watching on from the back, looked like Sandra was doing well mixing in her powers with the combat skills Katy had been teaching her.

Sandra had expected a quick count out win here as she didn't remember Julie being anything super powerful. Julie would soon levitate into the sky however and touch down back into the ring, mimicking Sandra's entrance earlier. Sandra heard Julie's voice in her head again "have you forgotten my powers already?" This time Sandra was the one finding herself being rapidly dragged forward by some type of force, this again was mimicking Sandra's attack, but unlike Sandra who took several strikes Julie instead stopped Sandra's forward momentum with one precise and powerful open palm strike to the chest. The sudden impact drove all the air out of Sandra's lungs and a sharp pain ran through her chest. Julie had aimed for the heart, a strike that might of caused a stroke or something had Sandra not tried to defend herself last second, causing Julie to be ever so slightly off her mark.

Sandra would barely have time to compose herself when Julie would attack again. Sandra would manage a block and the two girls would start trading blows. The average person might think Sandra was holding her own during this but anybody with a eye for combat could see Julies moves where just so much cleaner, smoother and precise. There was clearly a vast difference in experience here that favored Julie heavily. It would be long before Julie laid another hit on Sandra, this one knocking her back several feet.

Sandra's powers was weakening now, being drained from along with her energy and stamina. When Julie said earlier "have you forgotten my powers already?", it hit Sandra what a fool she'd been. But by that point the process was already heavily on it's way. With her powers all but gone by now Sandra tried to wearily defend against Julie's attacks but stood no chance. Sandra's body felt heavy and exhausted while Julie had only grown stronger and faster.

Sandra had quickly been reduced to little more then a punching bag for Julie and several strikes later Sandra's entire body was pretty much left in pain. Sandra tried to take a few steps forward but collapsed to her hands and knees, breathing heavily. Julie spoke up, this time her voice could heard as she wasn't speaking telepathically. "Sandra your telepathic and telekinetic powers will return to you soon, I cannot keep them permanently and they will begin to drain away when this battle is over. But let this be a lesson not to overlook any opponent, especially those you view as friends."

As it looked like the battle was over a figure Sandra had met before before appeared to her, in her mind Sandra seen Mien. The Phoenix asked Sandra if she wanted to win this battle and questioned her motives as to why. Julie was able to connect the knockout blow when a shock wave of energy suddenly bust to life sending flying. Sandra stood bad to her feet fully energized. The power of this Phoenix, a cosmic entity running through her veins, Sandra had felt it before but was still amazed by it every time, it felt like the power this entity processed had no limit. Sandra in this moment felt like she was untouchable, like Karen or anybody else posed absolute no threat her. Yet she could sense it, herself and Emmet, strong as they where right now they where barely scraping the survive.

While Sandra was indulging in self amazement Julie to attack noticing her borrowed powers had vanished, the phoenix had overpowered Julie's mutant ability to steal others powers. Julie would soon drop to her knees, Sandra telepathic presence forcing her down and causing immense pain. Sandra would tekekintically fling Julie from the ring again, this time Julie hit the barrier with enough force to outright knock her out cold. Julie wouldn't budge during the 10 count and Sandra would be declared the winner. It would be long however before the strain of such cosmic power would starting to Sandra like it's always done before. Sandra managed to levitate to the back, though it looked like she was on the verge of passing out mid-flight. As soon as her foot touched the ground Sandra would pass out and Tanesha would catch her, Sandra having landed close to her.

Sandra and Julies fight was going pretty one sided for awhile, but soon Sandra claimed victory over Julie and collapsed after the fight. The medic team moved Julie, her wounds were minor and she would just need to rest for abit. Sandra was allowed to stay where she was to rest, Tanesha stroked her hair, happy that Sandra had been able to win. Emmet felt proud of her as well, she was still rough around the edges and her lack of bloodlust showed, but Sandra was certainly capable of defending herself.

Kano, now fully healed, was being held by Riku who'd been stroking his back, and other places, while watching the match. The Asgardian was quiet in his shame at losing to Mary. Riku for the most part hadnt said anything during the match, but at its end he finally said " After this, I'll teach you how to fight against demonic bullshit, if you want "

" Trully? it is a hard thing to swallow, loss when I'm so used to claiming victory, more so a loss as absolute as this. I felt victory was in my grasp, only for it to be snatched away....any wisdom you can bestow upon me would be much appreciated, I still have much to learn "

The next combatants were announced on the screen. Riku VS Vishkar

Riku grinned and hopped up " Finally! Time for the real H.B.I.C( Head bitch in charge ) to show you how its done " he strutted towards the stage, anyone who was looking at the ground would notice he was leaving footprints in the stone walkway, residues of energy crackling.

Tabitha sighed " This....this is going to be riddiculous " but she was smiling in good humor " Naturally for him "

" Of course, no way he's gonna lose! " said Gat, very confident in his friend

Shizuka agreed as well, but also pointed out " Oh of course Ku-Sama is going to win, but I think the real question is if the stadium is still going to be standing " She laughed remembering how destructive Riku's fights could be and Tabitha sighed again, being to cast spells to help reinforce the stadiums foundation. Shizuka followed suit and a moment later so did Gat.

Emmet giggled " I must admit, I've been looking forward to his match, if not to see his combat capability then for the comedy " he'd seen Riku fight enough times to know that the demonic boy was certainly one to beat in this tournament, now to see about his opponent. Vishkar, a woman of indian descent was slowing walking to the stage. Her outfit was quite stunning, a white dress of what appeared to be fine threads and defensive fibers and a visor that obscured the top part of her face.

Riku looked at the watch he wasnt wearing and rolled his eyes in annoyance " Bitch, you are not beyonce, speed that ass up here so I can toss it off the stage "

" You disgusting degenerate, cease your prattle. Dont be so quick to meet your defeat " Vishkar said brisky as she finally entered the ring.

Katy finally decided to make her way back to where the other combatants was, she wanted to congratulate Sandra on her win. Sadly Katy did think Sandra kinda exposed herself in this fight, her naiveness and passive nature certainly shined through. Katy could take Sandra through all the sparring sessions she could handle, but it was easy to tell Sandra's heart really wasn't into combat as a sport. Julie almost knocked Sandra off largely because of this, and Katy had to image others would prey on glaring weakness as well. Sandra's one saving grace in all this seems to be the Phoenix, but even then it looks like that power might be starting to go to Sandra's head. If Sandra was to meet somebody who wouldn't go down so easily, then even Phoenix might not save her. Katy honestly could not see Sandra going very far in this tournament, she hoped she was wrong but the girl had glaring flaws she would have to address quickly if she hoped to succeed.

Katy made it to the back seeing Sandra had passed out and was being tended to by Tanesha. Katy walked over to them speaking to Tani. "Hey, I hoped to congratulate Sandra on her win, I watched her fight from the crowd. Although it looks like that won't be possible." Katy wasn't surprised, every time she'd use the Phoenix power thus far she could only manage it for a short while then always seemed to pass out afterwards. Was the power that difficult and stressful to manage, or was Sandra simply just not capable of wielding that much power yet? If the latter, then just how powerful was this so called Phoenix Force?

Nina didn't pay much mind to Katy, Katy was of little concern since she was already eliminated. Nina was more interested in potential opponents going forward.

Tesla approached the group again, she'd been quiet for a while but was still watching things. "Well look who decided to show up." Tesla said to Katy before looking to the ring. "Look at this bitch wearing white, trying to steal my thunder. Riku better whoop her good." Tesla had to admit she was a little jealous that she didn't have a dress in her wardrobe that was quite on that level of fineness.

Mr.Rep looked between the two combatants and yell " YOU CANT ESCAPE FROM CROSSING FATE!! " and leaped away

Riku gasped as something his him in the back, quickly turning around he spotted what had attacked him, a small turret, he swiftly blew it up then turned back to Vishkar, only for another attack to hit him on the left. He sighed in annoyance as the attacks seemed to be coming from all around, they didnt particularly hurt, but wer getting on his nerves.

With a wave of his hand, all the turrets blew up at the same time " Wow, that was pathetic, not gonna give me a good fight I see " He sensed another attack incoming but didnt bother to dodge this time, he blinked and looked down, noticng a smoking hole going through his shoulder.

" I generally prefer to test the waters at the beginning of any fight, you appear to hav some decent defense so I decided it was time to increase the intensity " Said Vishkar who had a glowing finger pointed at Riku " Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Vishkar a defender of order and perfection. I have deemed that you are an affront to everything that is right in this world and must be defeated "

As she spoke, more turrets began to manifest around Riku, poised to shoot more beams of light. Riku rolled his eyes " Oh great another " Hero " what is my life that I have to keep encountering jackasses like you " Riku passed his hand over the hole in his shoulder, the wound instantly healed over " My regeneration is kinda broken, so your gonna have to do a tad better then that "

" I intend too "

Each turret began to glow brightly, charging up while Riku appeared to be muttering under his breath. The each loosed a series of strong beams of light. Darkness rose up around Riku and formed a dome. bright, red symbols began to appear along the dome. Vishkar regarded it wearily, so the filthy degenerate was a mage? No matter. She raised a hand and high in the sky, much larger turret had appeared and fired off a pin point attack on the dome, only for the the dome to absorb the attack the attack and fire it back, destroying all the turrets and forcing Vishkar to create a shield of light.

" Ah I thought you looked like a support character finally moved to the right place of DPS, who happens to use light " Riku walked out of the smoke with his hands in his pockets, began him space rippled out of a bunch of magic circles appeared in the air " Come on miss order, were just getting started " he smiled, showing rows of razor like teeth " magic missles! " beams of magic missles began firing rapidly from the circles at incredible speeds.

Vishkar rushed to creat disc of light to block the attacks, the tables had turned on her, but she was never without a plan. she vanished in a flash of light, appearing behind Riku. Riku reacted instantly kicked her in the stomache so hard that she went flying into a wall " Oops, I meant to hold back, but then decided I didnt want too "

" I doubt someone of low standing would know anything about restraint " Vishkar stood up,dusting herself off, light coating her body as a form of armor. She appeared back in the ring in a burst of light " After I defeat you and win this tournament I'm going to need to take a five hour bathe to cleanse myself " she resumed her attack with more largr turrets "

Riku side stepped around each of her attacks sent more of his own, but her light armor was protecting her " Hah, making some pretty big assumptions arent we. For kicks, what are you gonna do with all that money? "

Vishkar scoffed " Donate it of course, I know multiple good causes that could use it and whats left can go to my researc-

" Hold the fuck on, I know your basic bitter ass is not going to throw all that money away on cherity?! Oh bitch I'm bout to run circles around that ass! " he ran straight at her, his speed taking a big leap and delivered a series of punches and kicks to her, he could see signs of the armor breaking, but it was quickly coming back. The magic circles vanished, replaced by a much larger circles with multiple symbols forming around it. Anyone with magical knowledge in the audience were stanring in shock at the spell being cast.

" This....this is really not suprising " Tabitha said matter of factly " At least he's attempting to focus it simply on her "

" Yeah but is she still gonna be alive after it goes off? " Shizuka wondered " Nah of course, he wants to fight that executioner of the church and win the prize, she'll still live "

" Not gonna be much of a life though " Gat added as he ate his popcorn.

Jericho was staring at Riku appraisingly, he wasnt aware that agents of the mages association were quite....like this.

Riku leaped into the air and called out " Ether cannon!! " the sky lit up as a blast of black magical enery erupted from the circle, straight towards Vishkar.

" Reality is mine to command! "

A massive wall of light sprang to life and blocked the attack. Once it finished, Vishkar focused all of her energy to one attack and thrust her hand at Riku, an attack to fast to see pierced Riku's stomach and sent him towards the ground. He managed to slow his fall down enough to land on his knees, holding his stomache and hacking up blood.

" As you said, your healing abilities are broken, so I know it wouldnt kill you, but this fight is over, that appeared to be your strongest spell and my defenses were not phased by it. Take this as a lesson your abomination, order and justice will always prevail. Someone like you will never rise above your station, never be anyhing more then you are " A massive turret appeared in front of the wall of light " Any final words? Or has your mouth finally run out of things to say? "

Riku looked at her blankly, blood still dribbling out of his mouth " Y-yeah, I have something to say....GOTCHA!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA " He jumped to his feet and laughed like a madman, the hole in his stomache already gone like it hadnt been there in the first place " i'll say more too bitch, you cant keep a crackhead off the pipe and you cant stop my petty ass mouth, stay mad about it " he cracked his neck and began moving his hands through mystic passes "

" If your basic ass cant understand what i'm saying, i'll be nice and explain...I could have capped your ass at the start of this match, but I figured why not let a bitch get her shine, then snatch it away. The only reason any of your bitch ass attacks did anything to me is because I let them, same with why my last spell didnt get through, I held back a lot on it's power. It's not exactly one of my strongest spells, but it's more then enough to end you "

Vishkar glared at him " You claim I am weak? Your arrogance knows no end! " her turret fired it's attack and blew up, the beam was easily knocked away by a hand made of darkness.

" Hahaha bitch, stay mad about it, i've entertained your insufficient ass enough. But i've grown tired and while I know your basicness could never rub off on me, all that bullshit you've been spouting, all that order and justic. Save it for someone who gives a fuck! I know who I am and thats head bitch in charge, now allow me to read your ass like hooked on phonics "

Pink magical energy began to form behind him and grow, longer and thicker till it was towering above the arena and rose into the air taking shape " You have nothing better to do then try to bring me down to your pitiful level, I swear when you start winning thats when the haters wanna come out, but I pay you know mind, I'd hate me if I was you too, get yourself together girl and dont forget to secure yo bag! "

Everyone looked up and the reactions were various, mostly a lot of laughing and pointing. Emmet covered his face through his laughter " Oh my, how obscene "

Tanesha was recording the whole thing " That bitch would end a fight with this "

Riku's magical construct had take the form of a massive dick, complete with balls.

Kano gasped " My friend! I feel honored to that you would use the form of my mighty cock as a weapon! "

Tanesha looked over at him " Thats what it looks like "

Vishkar was completely scandalized and was at a loss for words. She started creating another turret, the biggest one yet, but it was too late.

Bringing his hands down " GET REKT BITCH!! " the magical dick came crashing down, piercing the turret and wall of light in one mighty thrust and exploding. Sight was obscured by a while smoke, but as it cleared, an unconscious and heavily injured Vishkar was laying at the bottom of a crater. Mr.Ref peered over the edges

" I dont wanna go down there, looks sticky, so i'll count here! 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10! and the winner is Riku!!! "

Riku fist pumped as he walked back over to the others, people applauding and laughing " Well girls, thats how it's done! "

" That was certainly a battle I shall never forget, good job dawling " Emmet said applauding the demon mage.

Riku grinned, not wanting to show how much Emmets praise meant, how much it always meant to him, he shrugged " Thanx bro, more to come, I aint holding back on none of you hoes, so be prepared, well maybe on the hoes i'm friends with, the rest of your bitches are flaccid meat " he shot a look at Noah who'd been watching the fight with little to know expression.

Nina could tell Riku was going to be a serious threat, as childish as he was his power was nothing to take lightly and that healing was going to be a problem. Between him and Mary it was tough to say who'd be a worse a opponent to come across in round 2. Maybe if lady luck was on her side, the two demons could meet and take each other out. However that was probably a long shot.

A giant dick was the last thing Katy expected to see today... she couldn't even believe that thought went though her head. You never knew what Riku would come up with and that was the fun of it.

Tesla smiled at the result this. "Well I'm pleased. I'm the only white queen up in this hood, can't have bitches go cramping my style. Riku, you did good work out."

With all of the commotion Sandra had ended up awaking sooner then usual. She looked up to see all her friends congratulating Riku, it seemed he must have won a fight. She didn't want to use her telepathy quite yet to find out what she missed, wanting to still take it easy for a bit longer. Sandra realized she had to start getting better at this, somehow she had to start getting a grasp on this Phoenix power. When brought forth the power the Phoenix brings is mind boggling, Sandra feels like she can spread her telepathic presence across the entire globe, or even beyond. She hears so many thoughts she normally never would. And that, was only one small portion, Sandra could feel so much more, she just didn't understand how to tap into it. She also didn't understand how to properly manage it either, every time Sandra brings that power out she can only manage it for a short while. She had to talk to Emmet again when they had the time, Emmet seemed to understand how to manage and even control such power to a pretty high degree, at least to a much greater degree then Sandra. Sandra helped him with his telepathy, maybe he could help her with Phoenix.

Once the stage was cleaned up, it took a lot of tissue paper, and Vishkar moved to the medic tent, it was time to select the next fighters.

Lilia VS Angelic

" oohohohohp! Finally it's my time to show you runts what a real battle looks like "

The voice belonged too Angelica Edelfelt, a young woman in a blue dress with long, drill like blonde hair, wearing a haughty expression, she headed for the stage " After that last embarrssment- I mean battle, I want to give this crowd a good show. She paused at the stage and glared in annoyance " No, I simply cannot set my delicate feet upon this tainted stage! I simply cant "

Riku just starred at her, left eye twitching " Hey, the water buffulo in the blue rags, why dont you have a nice tall glass of shut the fu- Riku's words were cut short as the arena was suddenly filled with light. Riku, Mary, and Nina recoiled back from the holy light. As it faded, the stage was left sparking and prestine. Angelica leaped and floated onto the stage " It is now ready for me, So Lilia, lets reconnect, shall we? "

Riku growled rubbing his eyes, he was damn near blind and his skin was blistering " Just what I needed in my life, another holy bitch "

" Seems another interesting one has entered the stage " Emmet commented, notin that only Riku, Mary, and Nina had been affected by the light " A friend of yours, lilia? "

Nina was seen lowering her arm, after reacting on impulse and instinct to try cover her eyes. The holy light had left some slight scorch marks on the vampire, but nothing that would be permanent. Her reaction was much the same as Riku's, reacting with a snarl towards the light and looking on with a dead focused instinctual hatred towards this girl. First Noah and Lilia, now Angelica as well even that Vishkar had fought in the name of the church. Nina expected a holy presence to be involved via the True Notes, but this was getting ridiculous.

Sandra went over to Tanesha, who could tell right away her girlfriend wasn't quite 100% yet. Though Tani would have figured that Sandra would of stayed out for longer then she had been, so she must have been jolted awake early by Riku's battle and was still feeling some of the effects from her own fight earlier. Sandra was sizing up Lilia's opponent, she had a gut feeling that this battle might not be a easy one. "What do you think of this girl?" Sandra asked, her question directed at Tani.

Katy also caught the reactions of both demons and the vampire towards the flash of light. Riku didn't act that way towards Vishkar, she wondered if maybe their was another angel in their midst.
