"She looks around seeing the driver, the soldier that helped her aboard, Roberta who Abby took as another soldier, not knowing her, and president Taylor. She went to take a step towards Taylor but was stopped. She looked at the soldier then back to Taylor."

Abby: Mr. President can ask you something. One of the men in my group I heard over talking about MRD's plans. One of them said they was going to capture the Phoenix's children, is this true? If I may say so sir, if it is I think you better call the MRD director and call that plan off. Even with Kano, we barely brought down Phoenix on her own last time. If she bands together with Fusion, Parker and the others. Even with SRT we're going to get slaughtered, we're already losing men as it is with those two gone.

"Abby could feels her powers fading as the van filled with mist, she knew she would revert back to normal long before she could ever finish talking to Taylor, but she had to convince him to set the children free. She looked to the soldier by her and suddenly randomly kicked him in the nuts before pulling a DDT (restling move) that planted the top of the soldiers head hard onto the vans floor, knocking him out. She quickly grabbed his weapon and shot the soldier in the shoulder before pointing back at Taylor. By now her appearance had reverted to normal and she kept the gun pointed at Taylor as she backed to the front of the van, grabbing the drivers gun and pistol whipping the driver to knock him out."

Abby: I'm Abigale Anderson, the Phoenix's adopted daughter. Please Mr. President, I beg you to listen to me. I have not come here to kill you. But I beg of you, please call over this mission and release the Phoenix's children. You have no idea the wrath your about to release on this world with what your doing. My brief encounter with the Phoenix told me all I needed to know about her. Kidnapping her children will only result in more death. That creature would kill everyone for the sake of a few. Dale had no idea what to do after what happened in New York ,Amber was missing and Milo Ventro himself was to blame. There was nothing he could do to save her, Keeth sought out Heaven for help to stop the power mimic, which literally meant God was his only hope. As expected the Phoenix went on a rampage in D.C. for her lost children not suspecting this was her enemy's plan. Roberta needed to at least delay this anyway, but even she had no way to give her children back. There was nothing these men could do and she would end up like Milo if it kept like this. It wasn't a fate Roberta necessarily feared for her, but by the time that occurred too many innocents would have died.
