Heroes Uprising: Alternate Universe (Thread 2)

Tanesha was jarred awake by a sharp slap to the face. She immediately lashed out wildly at whoever had struck her, feeling her fist connect with someones face, heard them cry out in pain. She recoiled back against a wall as her senses came to her. The fight in the courtyard, the woman that had come from nowhere and incapacitated Sandra and made off with her. But where was she now and who were these people.

Goose was holding back a ranting Jerry, reminding the man that he'd wanted to take this slowly. Jerry finally calmed down or one of his calmer voices had stepped in. He relaxed and walked out of Gooses hold to stand near Tanesha who watched him with suspicious eyes. " It's been so long, hasnt it Tani? "

Tanesha raised an eyebrow and Jerry laughed " Oh of course you don't recognize me like this. But we were once close Tani, so very close. Close that you ruined me so completely! "

He clawed at the bandages around his face till it revealed his grotesque appearance. His skin was a sickening green-purple color, his face bloated and full of puss filled boils. Tanesha covered her mouth in horror, the contents of her stomache threatening to come up. The memories of her past hit her like a truck. The boy she'd had such strong feelings for and that fateful kiss that shattered everything " J-Jerry? "

He tossed his head back and laughed, a horrible gargling noise " Ding-ding-ding, she remembers us!! Oh i'm so happy that you havent forgotten your crime, so very happy "

Tanesha hugged herself, it was Jerry, it had been so long since she'd left him in that hospital room as he moaned in pain. But here he was now and everything began to fall into place " The one who made my powers go out of control....was you? "

" Oh of course, just a little concoction I created.....pfft we stole that shit from some egg head, we couldnt create a damn thing.....oh you blithering idiot, dont tell her that! "

Tanesha watched in confusion as Jerry argued with himself, what was going on?

Meanwhile Iko and Harvey had arrived on the scene, sitting in a nearby tree. It appeared they werent the only ones onto the mercenaries. Iko was watching through some binocular's, taking note of everyone and what their abilities appeared to be. The girl floating in the air was gathering a massive amount of energy and despite it's appearance, he could feel she was setting up for a hell of an attack. The big bruisers power was rather destructive as well.

" Fuck, this looks so awesome! " Harvey crowed, his body practically vibrating with energy and making the ground give off small tremors " Come on, lets join the fun already "

Iko sighed " Patience is a virtue you would do well to learn. We need to know exactly whats going on, the information Adrian gave us and what Alex dug up is rather vague. I get that their mercenary's and fairly skilled ones, but I want to know exactly what their aim is. Kidnapping Tanesha Mack seems inconsequential enough but theres more to it "

Harvey sighed but held his tongue, truthfully he was kinda scared of Iko, though he'd never admit it, something about the guys eyes unnerved him.

King continued to gather energy while Hannibal summoned more bubbles, keeping a close eye on the building Megan was hiding in.

Adrian entered the choir room and immediately made his way over to Emmet and Sandra " Are you two alright? " he touched Emmet's shoulder, as usual he couldnt get a read on the boy, but he could feel his pulse and despite the ruined state of his clothes, he appeared to be perfectly fine, as did Sandra, emotions aside.

Emmet smiled " Thank you for the concern Adrian, we are fine, just bruised pride that will soon be healed when we trounce those ruffians "

Noah and Garfield entered next, with Donovan in toe. Garfield had been hanging with him when he'd gotten the text, Donovan was good friends with Tanesha because of Victoria and wanted to help save her. It felt good to know they had outside allies to call on, now they just needed to wait on Roberta. Riku sent one of his shadow crows along with her to get a few and offer assistance.

"So all this was a quest for revenge. Quite disappointing as Kiya expected more of a complex explanation to all this. She could listen further for details between Tenesha and Jerry, but really Tenesha already has those details. Jerry seem simple enough. He fell in love with a girl, that girls power went astray and messed him up, and now he wants revenge, funding a mercenary team to accomplish this goal and separate Tenesha from those who could protect her.

Kiya was confident she had this put together and was ready to move in at this point."

Roberta found the hide out but stayed hidden. Her increased vision noticed recent footprints and her ears could barely pick up faint voices. No specific words, but she was sure this was the place. She took out her phone and sent a text to Tie of the location.

"Well it looks like she found them."

Outside the building they could tell it was strangely quiet for too long. They could hear something faint in the bushes to their left. Then the noise began to increase until. "SUPRISE MUTHAFUCKAS!!!" it was Megan's voice. Shouting but it was slightly distorted like a machine.

"Surprise!" Several small grenades were fired behind them. Not enough to penetrate armor but to cause a concussive blast to move or severely hurt unarmored targets. Megan became visible behind them and then kept moving in anticipation of another attack. It was obvious Tanesha wasn't with them which was annoying. She cloaked again and began trying to move in close.

"A hand soon fell on on Roberta's shoulder, she looked up to see it was Kiya."

Kiya: Classic revenge scheme. Jerry was angry at Tenesha for events of their past. He hired mercenaries and had Tenesha kidnapped. Now kiddo, how do you feel about kicking some ass and saving your friend?

"Kiya thermal vision allowed Kiya to spot Roberta approach. Kiya didn't feel she needed the help but since the girl was already here, why not use her. The other two mercenaries had still seemed to not have gotten past Megan. Kiya wasn't sure if she underestimated Megan or overestimated the mercenaries."

Kiya: How you wanna do it. You get their attention and I'll get Tenesha. Once she's out of any possible hostage situation, we can just beat them down.

Roberta barely trusted Kiya but her own urge to swoop in was increasing. "I shouldn't be surprised that your here. No we wait until help comes. I already told the others where she is. If they attempt to leave we go in.

Roberta couldn't sense any blatant intent to kill from them. Tanesha was in danger but it wasn't enough to risk a fight that could get Tanesha hurt.

Jerry's body shuddered as his gaze returned to Tanesha " Ohh, you have such a lovely life now don't you? That red headed girlfriend of yours, heh always knew you were a lesbo. On the cheersquad and that little glee club, you have it all!! HAHAHAHA " He threw his head back and laughed " Oh but wait, it isnt all sunshine and unicorn dicks. Oh no, you were whored out to Troy Crosby awhile ago and played spy gal with that bitch Victoria "

Tanesha glared at him, the insane act beginning to get on her nerves, this was a bad situation but she knew her friends would find her, she didnt want to play damsel in distress but given her powerless state, all she could do was try to buy time " Yes and I already talked it out with everyone, I told them everything that happened and why I did what I did. I know i'm not completely forgiven but i'm working on it and soon enough i'll earn back everyone's trust "

Jerry starred at her for a long moment " Blah blah trust blah blah friendship, oh who cares about that bullshit. I'm talking about the things that you didnt tell your little friends. The deeeep darrrrk and naaaaughhhtttyyy things " his smile made Tanesha's stomache turn, a slow horror beginning to creep into her eyes " I see you know what i'm referring too "

Her arms wrapped around herself in protection " H-how do you know about that? "

" Heh, wouldnt you like to know....honestly i'd like to know as well, who found the video?.....not me.....I did!! Found it in some muscle dudes computer.....oh right " Jerry shook his head again to clear it " You slept with Troy Crosby....and made a SEX TAPE OF IT!! HAHAHAHAHA Oh god this is delicious, I must have jerked off to him plowing your snatch at least 100 times! "

Tanesha covered her ears, trying to block out his words, as the tears started flowing down her cheeks. That was the one thing that she hadnt admitted too, hadnt brought up and confessed to Sandra. Troy had mentioned a few times about letting it out, but then everything escalated and it must have slipped his mind. She had breathed a sigh of relief at that. But now it was all coming back up and she couldnt bare it. The humiliation and pain, it had happened not long after she and Sandra had started dating. He'd wanted some added insurance on her, so he forced her to have sex with him. Just thinking about it made her skin crawl, after it had been over, she'd spent hours throwing up and crying.

Jerry continued laughing " Oh yes, I have it and will release it out once i've finished with you. Hell, why dont we make a little vid of our own, right here! " he turned to Goose, his eyes wild " I need a video camera, no like 100.....67...34.....4, yeah four will do just fine and hell how about you join in, her cunt is as tight as can be, trust me " he winked and started giggled again.

Goose rubbed his forehead, a migrane starting to form " Ugh, I'll get you your camera's but I aint touchin no kid. Sorry just a principle of mine that I don't break ever and before you try to wave more money out, neither myself or anyone in my team is a damn hooker. Wicked, get this guy his camera's so we can be done with this " he was beginning to get a back feeling and that was never good. He'd been in this profession for a long time now and his instincts had attuned to tell when a mission was gonna go south. He got on the radio and told the squad to begin mobilizing. He didnt doubt for a second that the Glee Club would find them eventually.

Suddenly Tanesha surged forward and knocked Jerry to the ground and started smashing her fist into his face, adrenaline pumping through her system, making the blows harder. Goose was tempted to let this play out, but his professional pride eventually had him pull Tanesha off Jerry and pin her to the bed. Jerry was flailing around and screaming, his mind tugging in all directions till it smacked back together.

He jumped up and pushed Goose away, his fist catching Tanesha in the face and ringing a scream from her loud enough to be heard outside before wrapping his hands around her throat and choking her " Where the fuck are those camera's at, were gonna make corpse porn!! "

King moved higher up to avoid the blast, her concentration shaken and her energy ball faltering. She growled in annoyance as she focused on getting it back in shape " Who is this bitch? She's armed with some high grade tech, gov you think? "

" It's possible " Hannibal nodded as he looked around, parts of his armor charred but none the worse for wear " I'm calling back up, we need some infared support going "

"While Roberta heard the scream Kiya tap into the communications let her hear everything. Seems this kid had a lot going on in her past, and her problems was going to escalate even more if they didn't make a move."

Kiya: Roberta I know my past with your group has been troubling, but you need to trust me now. There is no more time, if we don't act things for Tenesha are going to get a lot worse then they already. And things are looking bleak already.

"The sexual intercourse with Troy was something Kiya herself could use against Tenesha if things within the True Notes ever suddenly turned south. But for now she'd let Tenesha's past stay hidden."

Kiya: I'll be blunt they're going to rape her. Unfortunately it's a trailer, any way we enter we're going to be seen. Personally I rather move before anybody penetrates Tenesha.

"Just to make sure their was no more conversation Kiya rested the palm of her hand against a rather tall tree, she could see one figure inside moving around, passing items which was surely cameras. Another figure clearly Jerry as he had the choke hold on Tenesha was already undoing his pants."

Kiya: Ready?

"With a forceful chop the base of the tree cracked, then a simple nudge sent it collapsing forward. The tree made a lot of noise coming down as it snapped smaller trees in the way before colliding with the ground making a loud thud just outside the trailer. "What the hell was that?!" Jerry exclaimed hearing all the noise outside. Goose sent Wicked out to take a look, soon as she exited the trailer she could see a large tree had fallen and made all kinds of mess. Oddly though the fallen tree looked healthy.

As she walked around to find the base of the log, her suspicions telling her this fall was not natural, the ambush on the trailer then started. Kiya directed Roberta to walk straight in the trailer door, Roberta had her doubts but ended up doing so. As figured Goose drew a weapon and Jerry was quick to use Tenesha as a human shield, getting behind her. He started to relax when he seen one lone True Note and just as he was about to speak, a loud crash occurred.

The trailer wall to Jerry left buckled in and gave way as Kiya bust her way through, clocking Jerry with a strong strike right in the side of his face. Kiya now stood between Goose and Tenesha ready to take the bullet but before it could happen Roberta took advantage of the initial confusion rushing forward with her speed and strength to knock Goose out.

Tenesha was concerned when Roberta showed up, then suddenly that blind attack from the side. Tenesha had ducked on instinct the moment Jerry released her and the impact occurred. It took her a few moments to realize who the second person was, then shock set in as she spotted it was Kiya. Kiya held her hand out to Tenesha."

Kiya: Ready to be reunited with your lover, kid?

"Wicked had found what she was looking for, the tree was clearly broken on purpose and didn't fall naturally. By then it was already to late, she was out there minutes at the most but it all the time Kiya needed as Wicked heard the commotion unfold back at the trailer."

"Lets get the hell out of here. The rest of us should be coming we can meet them on the way." Roberta was trying to focus more on getting Tanesha out instead of doing what she really wanted to do. Finish the rest of these mercenaries off. "Kiya take Tanesha back. I'll cover you. Do not make me regret this!"

Her hands clenched into fists. She was more than read to fight anyone that would be coming after them.

Megan was close. Close enough Hannibal could barely hear her breath near him. Her vector lashed out as he dodged grazing his armor causing him to barrel over. Her cloak was gone and a seemingly invisible force lashed out again trying to chip away at his defense. Each hit was fast and she combined it with several blasts from her grenades before cloaking.

She frowned wondering what type of armor was he using. It was far too tough.

Tanesha rubbed her neck and gasped for air, everything had happened so fast. One moment she was fighting for her life against Jerry and suddenly the trailer shook and hole appeared. It took her a moment to recognize Kiya and Roberta. " R-Roberta? Kiya? Is that really you? "

They nodded and Tanesha immediately felt a surge of relief, Jerry and Goose lay unconscious on the ground and according to Roberta, the others would be there soon. The thought of seeing Sandra was what dominated her mind " Yes, so much and we need to hurry, I heard the guy who I think is the boss, call for reinforcements, the rest of the mercenaries are coming. From what I can tell, their not mutants but really stron-Aah

Out of nowhere, a fist came flying and caught caught Roberta in the side of her face, knocking her back into trailer. Wicked hid herself via her power and snuck up on the group. She whipped out a gun and pointed it at Kiya " Heh, I didnt know there was another professional on this island, Goose, you need to fire our information gatherer, he's slacking off big time "

Goose grunted as he heaved himself up, rubbing his head, damn that had smarted, good thing he had certain modifications in body set up to increase his pain tolerance. He kicked Jerry in the stomache, waking him " Get up, this missions price just went up to let you know "

Jerry choked and staggered to his feet, his eyes falling on Tanesha and seeing red, the voices in his head screamed so loudly that he barely heard Goose, all that mattered was Tanesha and getting their revenge.

Goose noticed that Roberta was getting up " Looks like were all matched up here, for the moment anyway " the rest of his team was mobilising and on their way, it shouldnt be to difficult to hold these kids off till then.

Tanesha gulped, she felt so out of place here but she rememered what she was fighting for, she wasnt without the ability or knowledge to defend herself. She noted Jerry making his way towards them, Jerry was a human with no special powers, that more or less put them on even footing, she hoped to take advantage of his deteriorated mental state as well.

Wicked's eyes were all for Kiya, she sized the girl up and knew she had big fight on her hand. Years in the field had given her an excellent intuition, there was more to this girl then met the eye and not simply being a mutant, no, she could smell high grade equipment, possibly a cyborg. She activated her power and vanished completely from Kiya's human and cybernetic sight and detection. Her gun having been tossed aside before hand. Once she made physical contact with a person, her power came undone, making her perfect for assassination missions. She darted forward and attacked Kiya on her right, a strong fist strike to her chest.

Hannibal grunted, his armor was taking a beating, but weathered Megans strikes. He decided to take a risk, he coated his body in his flammable liquid but this time increased it's explosive power, the moment Megans blows landed, the area lit, the explosion slamming into her and blowing her backwards.

Hannibal was not unharmed himself, his armor cracked in some places but he ignored it and created a mass magnitude of bubbles. King floated overhead, her energy ball nearly completeted.

"Just as Wicked fist was about to hit Kiya grabbed her wrist stopping Wicked dead in her tracks."

Kiya: I knew you'd hide from eye view. I didn't really expect you to be able to hide from my cybernetic detections. So congratulations, you exceeded my expectations. However, because of my mutant abilities I don't need to be able to see you to predict your every move.

"Kiya balled up her free hand into a fist and struck Wicked with enough force to send her crashing through the already wrecked trailer. If Wicked thought Kiya was falling to her invisibility trick, then she was sadly mistaken."

Kiya: For your sake mercenary, you best be more then a one trick pony.

"Kiya noticed Wicked discarded the gun, seems she knew it'd do no good."

Wicked flipped onto her feet and wiped away a trickle blood off her forehead, now this she hadnt seen coming. Only once or twice had she encountered someone who'd been able to detect and predict her movements while using her power. Kiya was certainly good, but Wicked was no slouch either. She pulled out two metal batons and twirled them around, leaping out of the trailer and making a beeline for Kiya, but bending her knee's and cartwheeling over her head.

Once her feet touched the ground, she touched a button on each button and caused them to extend out and begin glowing with an ominous purple energy " Latest technology, pretty aint it. Think light sabe then increase it's power to the Nth level " with a casual wave of her arms slice sliced through a thick tree as easily passing through water, toppling it over. Kiya instantly realized she was going to have to keep on her toes for this, Wicked certainly had some interesting tricks up her skin tight sleeves.

Wicked jumped around a bit, then veered to the left, twirling her laser sabers in perfect sync. Kiya jumped out of the way, her power allowing her to predict Wicked's movements, but something flashed to her right, strands of her hair filling the air. What had happened, she'd predicted Wicked coming from the left, but somehow she got her right, was there more to Wickeds power then she originally thought?

Tanesha and Jerry circled each other, their eyes never straying from the other. Jerry was twitching like crazy, Tanesha couldnt tell where he was likely to attack from, but she kepther defense tight. Jerry lunged forward, with a scream, his hands balled up into fist and swinging away. Tanesha side stepped and tripped him up, watching him fall to the ground. As he rolled over, her foot caught him in the stomache. she went for another kick, but he reached out and caught foot. Knocking her off balance, she scrambled to crawl away, kicking out against his attempts to grab onto her.

Once back on her fight, she moved into a fighting stance, moving out of the way of Jerry's wild attacks and getting her own in.

Roberta robbed her jaw and grunted. Goose was in her way and she was already pissed off. Her entire stature seemingly became a little larger as her muscles bulged. "The fuck out of my way." She charged Goose in covered the distance in a second with another punch aimed for his face. He dodged but she smashed part of the trailer apart. At this point he wondered if this kid was willing to kill.

Megan hit the ground a few dozen yards back and she could hear a crack in her right arm. She rolled to her feet and tapped her arm. A sharp pain jolted through her body. "That sucks." she mumbled as her reaction and grabbed her right arm and put it back into its socket.

The pain subsided but she was running out of options. In the sky someone was trying to play a deadly game of dodgeball, and just across was a man getting ready to use some of the most deadly bubbles in history. Megan sighed and pulled out several microgrenades. "Lets finish this up later." they hit the ground and caused a huge smoke screen. She was still out in the open and they knew she would be forced to use her cloak.

A long cable shot out from the smoke at King. It attached to her foot and almost immediately a grenade was fired right after. It exploded a few feet infront of her with a loud bang and blinding light as a distraction.

"It wasn't long before Wicked deception (or seeming so) allowed her to start getting hits, a sabre cut through Kiya arm like butter, though her flesh and mechanics healed/repaired almost immediately. A strike to the back broke the skin and the Adamantium laced cybernetics once again, but couldn't strike anything vital as the pure Adamantium protecting Kiya vitals was to strong for even these weapons. The cybernetics self repaired again as the flesh quickly healed. Wicked was coming at opposite directions then Kiya was predicting. Not feeling pain let her keep a calm mind even while taking damage and Kiya was learning Wicked attack patterns.

Kiya predicted Wicked to strike from so picking up the pattern Kiya swung left catching Wicked square in the face as she appeared to attack, the impact of the blow sending the other mercenary flying into the ground and tumbling several times. Kiya had to admit this other girl was tough, blows like this generally tended to not just KO but break bones and snap necks."

"You might want to be careful kid!" Goose smiled as Roberta came at him even faster and he barely dodged each attack. He went low for a punch but was kicked back hard. His forearms blocked the blow but he was sent flying backwards. Luckily his implants prevented his arms from being immediately broken. He rolled on the ground but made it to his feet. "Jesus I guess they weren't kidding about superstrength."

"You already talk too damn much." Roberta took one step then leapt into the air fist ready as she was coming down on him. Goose grinned and reached behind him. "I got something for that." in a blur he swung up with a large hammer. Roberta was startled and immediately punched it instinctively. Electricity surged through her body with thousands of volts. He hit her fist back and took out another hammer and connected it with her jaw knocking her back through the trailer.

Goose nodded in approval of his own handiwork as he spun his hammers around. "This is what happens when your overconfident. You can't take too many...." he saw the trailer began to shake. Soon it was being lifted up off the ground and he could see a very angry teenage girl look him straight in the eye. "chances." she tossed it into the air. Goose looked up and readied his hammers to smack them away.

"Pay attention!" Roberta ordered as her fist nearly connected with his face, but was immediately blocked by his hammers. The electricity surged through with more force threatening to cause her muscles to spasm, but she pushed through knocking him off his feet and back. The trailer was threatening to land on top of her before she caught it with one hand. "Give up! I'm not a killer!"

Goose spit out some blood and almost laughed at her words. He clapped his hammers together causing a huge amount of electricity to charge up. "Oh please! We're just getting started Gorilla bitch!"

Roberta sighed and just shrugged. "You asked for it!" she just tossed the trailer straight at him. He just smiled and ran forward with both hammers. He smashed them together causing a blast of electricity to blow it apart. Pieces of the trailer flew black at Roberta who simply jumped above it. Goose kept charging forward and smacked the ground with both hammers launching him into the air and at Roberta. Her eyes went wide at the attack and she immediately blocked the hammers with her arms. Goose knocked her back down to the ground with an explosive smack.

"AHHHH!!!" she yelled out feeling several bones crack. Goose rolled into his fall and was ready for another round. "Come on I know your not done yet." he kept moving again not giving her any break. Roberta jumped up and kept her fists up. The second he attacked she was stunned at how fast he could move those hammers. She dodged avoiding each attack and briefly parried other blows with her fists. For a moment her vision blurred. Instead of the mercenary in front of her she began seeing a large pale man with tribal symbols and war paint wielding hammers. She saw snow on the ground beneath her and could feel a chill in her very bones. Goose could see her movements get sluggish and pressed the attack.

"Heads up kid!" he faked a hit for her leg, but aimed straight for her jaw knocking her back again into the air. This immediately shook Roberta out of what seemed like a vision. She touched her jaw and sneered.

"Everyone always want to go for my fucking Jaw!" she tasted blood, but knew it would be healed soon and Goose just shook his head. Roberta could hear him say something snarky, but was also hearing another language from a different man with a similar style. Their language was old and incomprehensible to her, but their movements. This was something she could understand. Goose moved similar to them.

"This isn't another sparring partner. He is a warrior willing to kill. Treat him like one!"

Roberta smiled when she got up and slowly began walking towards him. That little voice that occasionally popped up in her head came back now. At least this time she didn't feel the need to fight it. Her muscles were relaxed and even her walk was to. Goose looked with a raised eyebrow wondering what she was doing now. Either way they both knew this fight was going to be over soon.

Unbeknownst the combatants, the entirety of the mercenary group were present and closing in on them. Snipe had changed her position to get a better few of the fight, radioing King and Hannibal as their present fight had ended already. It was looking like they'd be able to wrap this up nice and cleanly but suddenl a large, black void opened up. The True Notes poured out of it in mass, everyone at the ready for a fight.

Riku had kept a steady eye on the situation via his shadow crow and deemed it the moment to strike. Warning everyone before hand that they were going up against seasoned professionals who were prepared to kill, no one had backed downa after hearing this, their determination to help their friends even stronger now. Riku opened up a portal in a good location and directed everyone through it.

Emmet, having changed into a new outfit, held out his hand to Sandra, without a moments hesitation, she grabbed it. Their breathing sinked up, an immense power surged through them, so big and intense but after a moment it toned itself down. A golden aura coated Emmet and Sandra as they floated into the air. This was most of the groups first time seeing this power and they starred on in awe for a moment, Adrian in particular paying special attention to them.

Iko was watching as well through his binoculars, it appear their time step onto the field had come at last. he nudged Harvey awake and began giving him instructions, or more so warning him not to go to crazy in this fight. Harvey just nodded along and jumped down, causing a tremor in the ground, he cracked his knuckles and grinned brutally, steam rising off his body. Iko shook his head and took off at incredible speed, almost appearing to teleport.

Donovan steeled up, he stood near Victoria and Garfield, he wanted to save Tanesha but he also wanted to protect his sister and best friend. He knew he wasnt the smartest guy around, but he was strong if nothing else and he would use that strength to protect them. Noah's body was coated in his light cloak, his mind cleared as he entered familar territory. These mercenaries were heretics and thats all he needed to know.

A shot rang out through the air, but the bullet, aimed at Sandra, was stopped in mid air. Snipe's jaw hung open, that was impossible, the gun she had equipped was in the lead of anti air weaponry. It would take immense awareness and speed to stop one of those bullets.

Emmet/Sandra: It has begun!

Both sides launched themselves forward and the battle began.

"Once Kiya had caught on to Wicked tricks and patterns the fight really shifted back to her favor. Once Kiya got a hold of Wicked, she didn't let go. Holding the mercenary in place with one hand that had a vice like grip, Kiya used the free hand to really start dealing Wicked some serious punishment. Wicked stabbed Kiya straight through the chest with energy blade, Kiya paused and looked down at the blade before looking back up."

Kiya: Good try, but your weapon simply isn't powerful enough.

"Wicked know something was amiss here, that blade was designed to go through metal easy, yet was unable to reach any of Kiya vitals whatsoever. It was almost like the materials Kiya was made of was otherworldly or something. Kiya gave Wicked a stiff headbutt, it snapped Wicked head back violently and we could see Wicked bleeding from it. Kiya let Wicked go and she dropped to her knees, dazed and almost out. Kiya then gave her a bone crunching knee to the jaw. This should knock Wicked out completely, and have her eating from a straw for while. Unless she had any more surprises."

When the fight begun Goose continued to attack Roberta. "Its over ki-ugh!" his hammer connected with air and simply received a kick in the chest pushing him back several feet. She continued to walk towards him with the same gait.

"The hell was that?" he questioned himself wondering if he was fast enough. The girl was still just walking so he charged forth again. He struck out with each blow causing blasts of electricity. Roberta simply advanced forward dodging each attack and lashing out with her own punches. They each attacked exchanging blows, but Goose began to sweat. It took him a moment to realize he was stepping backwards and being put on the defensive. He waited until Roberta attacked again. Her fist

BOOM!

In a moment instincts for him took over and he felt something brush up against his skin. He tried dodging but could feel the skin on his cheek begin to tear off. A loud boom sound exploded in his ear and the force of it sent him flying into the ground. His vision was fuzzy and he could barely feel himself moving, but he kept his eyes on Roberta.

"A punch fast enough to create a sonic boom. Shit!" he collapsed to the ground trying to get up. Goose's enhancements were effective, but this wasn't simply pain. He was slipping in and out of consciousness. Roberta walked over and kicked away the hammers out of his hands.

"I surprise myself sometimes. Right now though you don't need these." she stomped on his hands smashing them and then finished him off with a boot to the face.

Hannibal saw Tie come right for him. Before he could move something lifted him up from the ground. Tyrone raised one hand and stretched Hannibal's limbs outward. Tie jumped up and punched hard enough he felt the force of it through his armor. "Oh no I'm not finished with you yet. Time Alter Double Accel" she punched nearly a dozen times causing Tyrone to flinch as he tried to hold him up.

Eventually he couldn't hold him and Hannibal was sent flying to the ground.

Wicked groaned in pain as she heaved herself up, she had taken a lot of damage, more then she'd had to in years. Just who were these kids, heh no, referring to them as mere children was an understatement. She could hear the tell tale signs of fighting, the others had arrived but she was willing to bet a large sum of money that the True Notes were present as well. A fact proven as she spied Emmet and Sandra battling King.

King had been taken completely by surpise, her massive ball of energy beginning to waver as the phoenix duo appeared before her, she bristled as waves of power hit her " And just who the fuck are you two supposed to be?! "

Instead of answering, they assaulted Kings's mind, she screamed in pain as memories were forcefully pulled, things she...he really didnt want to remember " GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HEAD!!! " King hurled the giant ball of pink light at them, putting all of her energy into it. Emmet and Sandra each held a hand out, the energy ball meeting an invisible ball of force that matched it.

Meanwhile on the ground, Hannibal was being overwhelmed by Tie, much of his armor was gone now, leaving him exposed. He flooded the area with his bubbles in a sudden rush and set off a series of explosions. But Riku was already ahead of him, he chanted a spell, a dark, purple light flaring up, the explosions were stopped before they could fully stop. The spell Riku cast was perfect for this situation as it was designed to negate chaotic attacks like Hannibals. His powers now neutralized, Hannibal shifted his power over to his defensive side and fell back on using his immense bulk and strength.

He barreled towards Tyrone, but Victoria stepped in between them, her foot lashing out and catching Hannibal in his exposed stomache. He heard the soun of several of his ribs breaking, the air being rushed out of his lungs as he was knocked backwards, He skidded on his heels, even after taking a hit like that, he refused to go down.

Gun fire was whizzing through the air, but Donovan stood firmly, blocking the bullets from hitting his friends. Garfield was practically break dancing through it all, his spider sense going haywire and allowing him to dodge them as he took out different people. He grappled with a guy swinging around nunchucks, and another with batons. Donovan rushing over to help him and throw himself in the path of bullets about to hit Victoria.

Adrian made the gravity light around a few of the mercenaries before crushing them into the ground with heavy pressure. He dove into the ground and came up shooting off lightning, if nothing else, this was a chance for him to put his powers into some real practice. He kept a careful eye on Emmet and Sandra in the sky, but they appeared to have their battle well in hand.

Noah blazed through the area, dissarming and knocking out several of the mercenaries, he was a little suprised at their sheer numbers but they were dropping easily enough, maybe a little to easily. Strong as the Glee Club was, these were proffesionals they were facing, they had to have some other tricks up their sleeves. Katy was face to face with a woman wielding a long, deadly looking whip in her hands. In her late forties with her black hair cut severely short and well muscled, her eyes didnt leave Katy for a moment as she began her attack.

"The women lashed forward swinging the whip and Katy jumped back and evaded. Katy collected water from the area creating a back, shooting it forward she shifted the ball to ice hitting the women in the face to knock her back. Katy rushed forward attacking the women until the women found a opening blocking Katy strike, Katy tries jump back but the women grabs her wipe quickly and with a swing wraps it around Katy ankle, tripping her. Katy is quick back to her feet but is met with the whip that tears through her clothing leaving a cut on her stomach. Katy starts getting assaulted by the whip as Katy yells out, quickly there are many cuts and gashes left all over her body with blood dripping.

As Katy falls to the one knee in pain the whip gets wrapped around her next. Katy reacts quickly splashing the women with water which didn't do anything, but it wasn't suppose to except to make her wet. The women is about to yank the whip which would break Katy next, only to be frozen in ice as Katy shifted the water the women was splashed with into ice and freezing her.

Katy unwrapped the whip, choking and taking a few gasps for air.."

"Kiya seen on the battlefield that the true notes arrived and seemed to be handling themselves."

Kiya: So any more tricks you wanna throw at me?

Tyrone pushed both Victoria and Donavan down with his telekinesis and averted the gunfire just enough to avoid them. He pushed both hands out and sent a wave of telekenetic energy towards the mercenaries lifting them off their fit and slamming them down to the ground. He stood in front of Donavan and Victoria ready to make sure they don't get touched. "Don't worry I got your front baby."

Just as Hannibal was about to move a large sword hit the ground in front of him. "Die on your knees." with a few words and a gesture Tie summoned several swords aiming right towards Hannibal. They smacked the ground near him exploding. Each of them were getting closer forcing him to retreat. He turned around could see a fist ready to connect. He slid under it and rolled to his feet.

"Dammit!" Roberta cursed but immediately charged him. Tie shrugged, but allowed Roberta to take that enemy. She walked over to her weapons and grabbed one of the swords as the others dispersed in holy light. Her weapon was a blur as she blocked several bullets and charged forward to tear apart the mercenaries attempting to flank them.

Wicked vanished from Kiya's senses and appeared near Goose, she reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box " Why dont we take this to the big leagues " she clicked a button on it, sending out a large signal. At first nothing happened but a sound filled the air, growing louder by each passing second. Kiya could sense something coming, it lit up her scanners with a red alarm.

Noah was suddenly blasted off his feet, crasing into a tree and snapping it in half. A figure hovered overhead, held aloft by jet propulsion. The True Notes near Noah at the time, Riku, Katy, Kaiser's attention was immediately on it. They were all aware of exactly what it was, an Iron Man suit, one of the strongest pieces of tech on the planet. The person in the suit ran a scan of the area, the mercenaries bio signatures all logged in.

The chest opened up, revealing a series of missiles, each one of the True Notes were marked for a missile apiece. Hurled several spears made of darkness at it, but the suit easily proppeled out of the way and fired off it's missiles. Riku summoned up a dome of darkness around himself, Kaiser and Katy, making it as solid as he could the impact of three high grade missiles. It impacted and blew the shield apart. Adrian leaped into the ground to escape the missile coming for him.

Donovan shoved Tyrone on top of Victoria and covered both of them with his steel body. Noah barely conscious, let his instincts kick in and darted off, the missile giving chase. Sandra and Emmet could sense the missiles coming for them, but more importantly they could tell some for heading in the direction of Tanesha and Kiya, one of which was powerless. Breaking from their clash with King, the phoenix duo made their way to Tanesha and Kiya, bringing two more missiles with them.

Snipes whistled as she watched th events unfurl from hilltop " Damn, that suits pretty damn impressive "

" Agreed, I must tip my hat off to you people for aquiring such equipment "

Before Snipes could react, her gun legs went flying through her field of vision, she screamed out blood burst out from the wounds. Iko stood behind her, knife pressed against her throat, he to was watching the events and judged that keeping close to Snipes would assure his safety from the missile strike. Thoughts of a Harvey's safety didnt even register to him in the slightest.

"Sandra and Emmet noticed the missiles and guided them around in a loop, they approached their friends from the opposite direction that the original missiles fired at Tenesha/Kiya where coming, which meant as such the missiles following Sandra/Emmet was also going in the opposite direction. The Phoenix duo timed their approach so the missiles after them collided with the ones going for Tenesha and Kiya. Kiya moved in front of Tenesha taking the brunt of a massive mid air explosion. The force of the blast ripped away a lot of Kiya flesh, though she was able to repair. Tenesha was safe behind her. Emmet and Sandra shielded themselves from the explosion.

Katy meanwhile put up a secondary ice shield that protected her from the reminder of the blast that shattered Riku's shield. Instead of attacking with force Katy tried targeting the air inside the iron suit, trying to pull moisture from it and formulate water inside the suit that she could then use to attack the inner circuits and wiring."

"Shield me AIR!" Tie formed a cocoon of wind around her. The air created a whirlwind capable of diverting bullets and the missile coming right for her. The missile curved around her and into the nearby tree blowing it to little bits. She turned to her right seeing Roberta moving incredibly fast trying her best to avoid the missile that was homing in on her with ease.

She embued the air around her with holy energy and soon channeled it into her arm. "Roberta get-" just as she shouted Roberta stopped and did an about face immediately. She grabbed the missile along its base avoiding the actual warhead. In one motion she twirled around and threw it at the Iron Man Suit with all her strength like a bullet.

"Ah well you don't need my help." Tie shrugged but immediately sent a wave of energy towards Noah. He found himself walking on air moving faster than usual.

Tyrone and Victoria were immediately saved by Donovan who stopped the explosion. "Thanks dude," he helped up Victoria and could see the tide turning against the briefly. The mercenaries were still active and were ready to press the attack.

"So baby wanna help me kick some more ass?" he asked Victoria trying to sound as confident as possible. His heart began beating faster and his telekinesis was becoming more aggressive as he started throwing mercenaries around wildly hoping to stop them from even pulling a trigger.

Garfield, thanks to his spider sense leaped up at the right moment to catch the missle coming for him, putting all of his strength in, he hurled it off at exactly the same time Noah caught and threw his, the two colliding near the iron man suit and forcing it backwards. The suit started heating up to counter Katy's attack on it, exstending it's arms, it fired off twin laser blast. A large boulder flew out of nowhere and blocked it before exploding into a million pieces.

Harvey had opened a hole in the ground filled it with lava, diving into it as the missile hit. The small hole expanded outward, some of mercenaries fell in as the ground opened up beneath them. Crawling out the laval, naked of course, Harvey saw the Iron Man suit and growled, it was one of those damn things had had captured him before. He pulled a large amoung of rock from the ground and formed it into the boulder.

Riku rubbed his head, the explosion having hurt his hearing abit " Damn, how the fuck did these bozo's get one of those things? "

Kaiser pushed him aside as bullets whizzed past them " We still have these guys on the ground, time to divide up, half of us deal with the ground troops and the others work on taking that thing out of the sky " he pulled out his wooden swords and vanished from sight, reapparing behind one of the missionaries and knocking him out. Riku cracked his knuckles and leaped into the air, the sky started darkneningas Riku charged up.

The Iron Man turned toward him but another boulder diverted it's attention, followed by a stream of lava. Riku formed more spears of darkness and directed them at it, the suit propelled itself downward and shot straight for Riku. Adrian leaped out of the ground and began increasing the gravity around the suit, forcing it downward before it increased it's jets.

Emmet and Sandra landed by Tanesha, Sandra threw her arms around her girlfriend and hugged her tightly, the power of the phoenix broken, leaving her and Emmet feeling a little exhausted, didnt look like they could maintain the power for to long. Tanesha burried her face in Sandra's neck, so happy to see her again. Wicked meanwhile had grabbed Goose and was retreating with him.

Emmet took a few calming breaths, his energy gradually coming back, he turned to Kiya " It appears we owe some gratitude for assisting in the rescue of our friend " he didnt believe her motives were completely selfless but she had indeed helped and was one to give credit where credit was due "

Sandra: I was so worried about you Tenesha.

"Sandra could tell Tenesha was alright and tears of happiness streamed down her face as she held her girlfriend tight. Tenesha could tell Sandra beat out to some extent from the Phoenix going by her breathing, which was a bit worrisome with soldiers still around and the iron man suite. Kiya gave Emmet a smile."

Kiya: Hey I told you I was finished with Troy. And as for these, hell I didn't like them before, trying to kidnap and rape one of my new friends didn't help them any.

"Sandra heard that and looked over concerned."

Sandra: Wait rape!
Kiya: Nothing happened, myself and Roberta made sure Tenesha wasn't defiled. But yea, the man in all the bandages. That was his plan for revenge, or at least part of it.

"Meanwhile getting nowhere with the suite and seeing a few heavy hitters in Adrian and Riku going at it, Katy decided to lend her assistance to dealing with ground forces seeing that as where she'd be more useful. Katy started going after any soldiers attempting to come back up the suite."
