Heroes Uprising Thread 3

Emmet waved his hand and the islands temperature returned to normal. Those ruffians appeared to have gotten away, he shook his head in annoyance or so they were doubtlessly thinking. He floated back to the tower and landed in the room where cerebro had been " Sandra dear, theres been an incident that im sure you and yours will want to check in on " he telepathically filled her in as he filed his nails.

Milo just sighed this was a disaster, the space station was connected to the tower but it had been too late.  It was as if everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong in one instance, the tower's defense system had turned on them as soon as the team returned. They'd managed to gain control of the situation, but were disastified to find out cerebro had been stolen from them. Two days had pasted since the robbery, and he'd managed to keep the media as well as Genoshian authorities out of the investigation on what went down. He just sighed as he poured he took some more of his drink coke and vodka, lately liqour was all he had to ease the pain with what he was going through. To join him was someone he probably shouldn't have invited over but he couldn't help it.

Milo: Sandra I don't even know what to do at this point everything is messed up, everything is going wrong, we fucking lost cerebro, and all our files, everything's gone..replaced by shitty super hero porn

Two days had passed and the new operating base for the Takers was looking up. Kara had gotten her shipment of legally and illegally possessed technology that she urged Victor and Wayne to set up. Afterwards, the team pretty much huddled up for what would be their next move. They had a way to target people, but now they needed weapons and technology that wasn't available on the black market. They decided that their target would be Aaron Stark of all people. Coming up with a plan in two days seemed unreasonable, but Veronica and Kara had almost literally put their minds together on this one. The rest of the group just decided to train up on their powers while they had the small window of dwell time. Damon needed the most work, so Wayne and Victor focused on him.


"Damon, I think I kinda get your power a little more." Wayne said as Victor and Damon panted after a session. Damon looked at Wayne, wanting to know what he may have not. "Sure, you gain a power based on your adversity at that moment in time, but, it's never always the same. If Victor tries to punch you, you have the opportunity to attain a number of abilities... but you only get one, right?"

"Yeah." Damon confirmed. Wayne nodded and smiled.

"You're about to say 'I already knew that', but did you know that it has to do with how you... ummm feel? Yeah, how you feel! Like if you'd rather not be hit by Vic's punch, you'd get an ability to dodge it like short ranged teleportation or enhanced agility. If you were going to take the hit, you'd get some kind of durability or counter. Stand your ground, and you become a tank. Choose to flee, become an escape artist." Wayne explained as Damon nodded his head.

"Again?" Damon asked.

"Sure." Victor answered. "Hephaestus!" He shouted before an armor of metal and flame enveloped him. "Maybe you'll finish that guy Troy off next time."

"I'm very sorry to ruin your fun boys, but I have an assignment for you." Veronica's telepathic voice announced. It was time to get the gears turning again.

"Sandra was pissed when Emmet called her, so much happens on Genosha and this was something completely preventable. It was idiotic to leave Genosha completely abandoned. What's worse is since mother if a telepath was skilled enough to use Cerebral, Sandra was the only one who could maybe still stand up to it. And even she wasn't 100% sure at this point, but there was no one else. Anybody else with telepathy was weakened to much.

A few days later Sandra was meeting with Milo, still annoyed by this whole situation."

Sandra: Milo with all the shit we had been though over the years, not just me and you, but SXM in general. This was something resulting from sheer carelessness and foolishness. Worst part was I had a fucking feeling something was wrong with this, I should of the left the space station right away. Now Cerebral is god knows where, being used for god knows who for god knows what purpose, and we are further weakened.

"Sandra couldn't lie, she's been frustrated with SXM management for quite some time. It seems everything Filipe or Yamairo does nowadays leads to some kind of fuck up. Now it was getting out right ridiculous."

Sandra: If I'm to be truthfully I wonder if management still got it. Nate I'm not sure can ever fully be trusted again. Yama need I explain, he's always been hesitant to pull the trigger when needed. And Filipe I'm starting to wonder. I've been loyal to this team for the most part of 9 years, that's nearly a decade, Milo. But mistakes like this is needlessly making life hard for us. And quite frankly since we hardly ever get a damn break in the first time, I'm not happy about it.

"Milo knew Sandra many years and could read her like a book in must cases even if telepathy wasn't involved. The way she was speaking, Milo couldn't help but wonder if Sandra was contemplating a hostile take over of SXM. It was something he'd never expected to see from her as she seemed one to hold loyalty closely. But after this whole space station situation, he couldn't help feel she was close to pulling the trigger, as she so put it. The thought of her running SXM kinda scared him honestly but at this point what could he do to the Phoenix if she'd made up her mind to do it."

Genesis was meditating on his bed when the music started playing, he sighed in aggravation, like this situtation wasnt annoying enough. He leaned back and waited, sure enough a knock came at his door, not a physical one as that was impossible but a product of the music.

Riku:
Elsa?
(Knocking: Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock)
Do you wanna build a snowman?

Tanesha:
I never see you anymore

Iko:

(Knocking)

It grew silent for a moment but then the music and enthuism exploded

Following the musical it grew ominously quiet, Genesis began to creep off his bed when a darkness spread into the room and destroyed Joans barrier, diselling her in the process. Riku leaped into the room giggling, his eyes completely black, the ireses glowing red " There you are big brother, we all wanna play with you " hiss voice out deep and distored, completely disturbing on a little child. The others all spread out into the room, giggling and smiling. The positions all suggesting agression.

" Heh, im not going to lie, ive wanted something like this to happen, though i'd hoped you all to be your regular selves. Know this, the fact that your children means nothing to me, a fights a fight, regardless of whom it's with "

He'd been building his power up to call on some of his strongest summons. He didnt hold any illusions that just because they were younger, their powers werent at there peak. Mother Magicka was sure to have boosted them as well to meet whatever her goal was. Genesis body glowed as the air became charched with power. He built it up till four pillars of light rose up " Epic heroes, come forth from the sea of my soul!!! "

Genesis reeled back, blood oozing from his nose and eyes but he grinned madly " I'm going to put you little brats to bed, permanently, charge!! "

Yori nearly shuddered as he walked up to the front door of Emmet's home. Not long after leaving to deal with his growing number of worshippers and the traditional wondering (he can never stay in one place for long) he was back to a now far stranger place than usual. He placed his palm on the door and closes his eyes trying to sense the presence inside. Power shot through his arm like electricity briefly making it numb before he shook it off.

"Huh it doesn't seem like that's the usual insane amount of power those guys give off. Hmm what should I do..." he paced back and forth considering his options.

"I could just tear through the place and start kicking ass." The image of him blowing up a huge part of their home with him jumping in gently brushing some of his hair back behind his ear was cool. However, Emmet would kick his ass for that so it was out of the question. He thought about other scenarios until a certain repeat customer prayed for him. Yori just got a terrible idea. Immediately he allowed himself to be summoned right in front of the worshipper.

"Oh man that's perfect your still wearing that horrible outfit. Give me that."

"W-what?"

"Don't worry I'll help you out when I get back."

It only took a minute to get changed. He was able to teleport back to his last position standing at the front door with a pizzahut uniform on and a Pizza in hand. His only course of action was to knock. "Hey Pizza delivery here!"

He knocked a few more times much harder to get someone's attention. At least he would have the excuse to Emmet to say he knocked first before huffing and Puffing.

Victor, Damon, and Wayne had just been briefed on a collection mission in Latveria. The three young men looked to each other before nodding in agreement.

"What are you ladies gonna be up to?" Victor asked.

"We're going after Stark... I can feel your doubt in us, but rest assured. Kara and I are more than enough to defeat him at his base of operation."

"If you say so." Victor said as the idea of hitting Iron Man was crazy. This was a man who was literally ready for any kind of enemy, but perhaps the ladies had something other than confidence on their side.

"Let's get ready to go. I'll make our transportation." Wayne led the two out.

"Hmmm..." Veronica hummed as she sat in a room wearing the Cerebro helmet. Countless wires connected it to generators and computer systems throughout the small dim room she now sat cross-legged in. Her eyes were shut, displaying how relaxed and calm she was. She felt as if she was born for this, as if she had more potential and talent than any other telepath alive. To see, feel, and look into so many people across the globe. Sure it had its limits, but she was willing to push them. Was it pride or was it ambition.

"Starting the mission?" Kara asked from behind a laptop in the room.

"No, I need to speak to a certain someone." Veronica said before exhaling.

While Milo and Sandra were sharing their thoughts and a few drinks, a man came walking over. He wasn't anyone they'd met but he looked like he was going to engage them with something. His swim trunks and shirtlessness gave away the fact that he was enjoying the beach, and his long curly blonde hair kind of made him look like a stereotypical surfer.

"Ooh, I didn't think I'd get the Phoenix and Fusion at the same time. What a surprise." The man said with a grin. "Don't get too excited you two, I'm only here to talk. You see, my team and I stole your cerebro, but we could have done so much worse, dear." The man said as he caressed his hand on Milo's face. He then looked to Sandra. "And for doing you a favor, I'd like for your team to do mine a favor."

Sandra: Your so called team attacked a unguarded base and stole SXM property, which I now needs to find and reclaim. So if your favor is ruining my first vacation in months, then thank you.

"The last sentence had clear sarcasm that was notably to all present."

Sandra: Since you seem to know what happened and refer to them as your team, how about we make this short and sweet and you tell me where your boss it. Or you rather I extract the information myself? Maybe I'll do it painfully, just to get across the message I'm not in a mood for games.

"Sandra sealed the place off in a telenetic barrier, she knew well enough now not to underestimate a opponent and while calm in appearance, was ready to strike at a moments notice. Though if this guy was to attack both herself and Milo at once, he'd either have to be very strong or incredibly stupid. Still it was a possibility not to be ruled out."

The front door was blown off it's hinges and knocked into Yori the scene inside the house, a complete warzone. Genesis and his summons were battling fiercely against the " children " through various parts of the mansion. Saruto was speeding through one hallway while Kaiser and Iko flanked him, he turned suddenly and hurled two small pellets at them, detonating into a smokescreen. His keen vision was able to see them clearly and pulled out two kunai knives and hurled them. Piercing their shoulders and holding them in place, a fraction of a second later he was on them another set of Kunai, intent on slitting their throats.

But he found the two were gone, replaced by straw dolls, Sarutobi raised an eyebrow, Kawarimi no jutsu, the art of substitution. He would need to remember that their appearances were truly more then met the eye. He suddenly found himself surrounded barrage of Kaiser and Iko's, Bunshin no Jutsu, the arm of the doppleganger. The clones stabbed Sarutobi but he replaced his body with his own straw doll.

The master ninjas trade mark weapon, two giant shuriken held together on each sides of a long chain, silently weaved through the air sliced through all the clones. With a quick tug, Sarutobi redirected his weapons paths and sought out the real ones, masking their presece. The two jumped out, deflecting the shurikens, Kaiser with his Katana and Iko with his knife. In another part of the house Riku and Vlad Dracul were viciously battling each other.

Wielding a long spear with wickedly curved blade. He ducked around Riku's claws and leaped back to gain the necessary distance, to impale the demon spawn clear through his stomache. Vlad raised his weapon high and opened his mouth, allowing droplets of Riku's blood to drip down. Riku squirmed and moaned obscenely " T-that feels good! " something sneaked out from behind Riku and zoomed down, aiming for Vlads head.

The impale discared his weapon and dodged, just barely as his neck was grazed. Riku jumped down and removed the spear, shuddering, the wound healed instantly as he threw the weapon away. A long, serpentine tail peeked out from his backside, having been the thing that attacked Vlad. He blurred out of sight, appearing above Vlad and aimed his tail down but Vlad was prepared this time and unsheathed his sword.

The two clashed over and over again, the floor beneath them giving way and crumbling. They fell down, still fighting into the dining area. Tanesha was twirling through the air, doding Yoshitsune's sword strike. She landed and stretched her hand out, forming her vemon whip and lashed it at the swordsman, he dodged it raised his blade to block the sudden attack from Noah before he vanished.

Yoshitsune uttered two words " Hasou Tobi " his famed eight strike attack tore up the room, hitting everything and everyone in sight. Noah, at mother Magica's command, threw his light cloak out to cover Tanesha and protect her but even that was barely enough to ward off the attack completely. Tanesha cartwheeled around Noah a breathed out a large cloud of poison, obscuring Yoshitsune's vision.

Her whip soon found it's way around the swordsmans neck and jerked him forward. She formed and solidified a blade of liquid poison, aiming it to strike piece his stomache, he the point of it with his second smaller blade. He smun them both around and caught Noah's kick with his shoulder and used the momentum of it to through Tanesha into him. But the two linked hands and Noah threw her back. She tackled into Yoshitune and the grappled.

Adrian was hurling bolt after bolt of eletricity at Siegfried, but his mighty body allowed him to endure it all. He barreled forward, sword raised and slashed down. The south side of the mansion out to the backyard was cleaved in half. Adrian was nowhere in sight though, Sigfriend whipped around in time to see a mass mercury attempting to envelop him, with a quick movement, he destroyed it but only for a moment.

The mercury reformed and began it's attack again, no matter how many times he destroyed it. Retreating into the backyard, he kneeled down and raised his blade in front of him, fire rushed up around him and began boiling the mercury. He stood up, his sword glowing red and hissing, the silhoute of a dragon forming behind him. Adrian walked into the opening, a popsickle in his mouth " Sorry mister, I got hungry "

Siegfried fell to his knee's, knife portruding from his back, invincible safe a leaf sized mark. Adrian walked up to him " to bad mister, mother read us the story about you last night " he snapped his fingers and fried Siegfried with a pulse of electromagnetic energy. Mother Magica was busy washing dishes when Genesis found her.

" Oh there you are my boy, well youve been quite naughty and look at the mess youve made " she waved her hand at the explosions going off in the distance. Genesis narrowed his eyes, Jack the Ripper sprang into existence beside his and licked his knives.

" Enough, you delusional hag, I dont know what your goals are here but I'll give you one chance to turn those little idiots back into big idiots then leave this place, i'm being incredibly kind which is a rarity " he was talking a big game, but this woman was powerful and the fact that her magic had overidden Riku's was more then proof of that. Really all he could hope for was Emmet coming back in time and incinerating her.

He shook his head, there he was again, he'd never depended on the help of anyone and starting now was pointless, he would defeat this woman and thats all there was to it. Mother Magica picked up a towel and dried her hands off. As she turned around, Jack was instant on her, his knife pressing against her throat. But she wasnt bothered by this in the slightest " Your such a good child little one, my goals are the same as any mother, loving and caring for her children and in some unfortunate cases, disciplining the "

Genesis found himself picked up and thrown against the wall and bound securely. He ordered Jack to kill her but he wasnt fast enough. Brandishing a cherry red wand, Mother Magica dispelled Jack and walked over to the pinned Genesis " This hurts me more then you sweety " she smiled sadly. Confused at first, Genesis quickly figured it out as pain suffused through every cell of his body. He clenched his teeth together till they vibrated, he refused to let out a soound.

" I wont submit, I refuse, never again, never again will he have power over me........please, someone help me " his emotions raged deep beneath the surface as his old self began to resurface.

"You're welcome." The man shot the sarcasm right back at Sandra as he kept his condescending demeanor. "The boss?" The man questioned with a smirk. "There's no boss. You see we're not an organization that holds positions of authority over one another... Perhaps you could call me the mastermind in all this, Sandra Fuller." The man said. "Besides, what could you do to me? Fuck me like you did Milo? Wow, you're real names are so much less intimidating in person... Anyway, like I was saying, are you interested in doing my team a favor or not? It's a yes or no question, dear." He said flipped his hair.

Victor, Wayne, and Damon are currently in a construct resembling an aircraft. They seemed to have remained quiet during the trip before Wayne broke the silence.

"So... You guys are gonna be my security guards while I dig for this suit of armor, right?" Wayne wanted confirmation.

"Yeah, but that's if we run into anything. I still can't believe a mortal human was able to do all this."

"All what?" Damon asked.

"He means Latveria. And man look in the mirror, you're technically human." Wayne said as he looked to Victor.

"True."

"Wait what?" Damon was confused. "You have powers though. You have to at least be half alien or something."

"Nope. You wanna hear how I got my 'powers'?" Victor asked.

"Sure." Damon was curious to hear the man's story, for the only one he knew was his own. Perhaps he'd share his as well, but for now, he'd just listen.

"The man was slammed to the wall shortly after the Milo comment and was pinned in place. Tension pulled his limbs, as if a invisible force was threatening to rip them all off on a seconds notice as Sandra walks up to him."

Sandra: To take Cerebral, your group must have a telepath. I don't care who he/she is or what rank or whatever else you call or don't call him/her. All I want to know, is where this person is and where cerebral is.

"Sandra spread her fingers and all the mans limbs pulled extremely, to the point where if Sandra went any further, she'd rip both his arms and legs off. She stepped up to the man and placed her open palm on his forehead. This person had the nerve to think he could steal from the SXM, steal from her, then think she'd ow him a favor? She was done with this and would simply take the information she wanted since this guy wasn't talking."

Sandra: Relax and I'll make this easy. Or you know, resist and fry your god damn brain. Up to you.

"Sandra started digging through the guys mind for info on the Takers in general, but mainly on finding the telepath, as that's where the Cerebral would be."

The man grunted not just from the physical pain being dealt to him, but also with how Sandra dug through his mind. Within the man's own mind, he pleaded.

Please... Stop!

The faint voice of the man cried as Sandra sifted through his memories and thoughts, but there was nothing on the Takers. It wasn't as if it was a mental block or some sort of masking.This man knew nothing about the Takers. Nothing... except a faintlaugh that began to echo through the man's mind. It was in that moment that Sandra saw black and then found herself speaking to a silhouette of a female in an extremely dim room. Next to the silhouette was the man who was the owner of this setting known as his mind. He was tied up in barn wire to a chair.

"Finally..." Veronica said as her silhouette crossed its arms. "You found me, Sandra, and you found the nice young man that let me borrow the keys to his most priceless vehicle, his mind. Men are such fools to lust. All I had to do was whisper to him." Veronica laughed. "Now let's get to the point. You're not getting cerebro back. You will not find us. The deal I tried to make with you is now void. If you press us, we will crush you. Don't fuck with us." Veronica warned or rather promised before fading away, leaving Sandra to stand there with the man who was imprisoned in his own mind.

"Help me... Please, it hurts so much!" The man cried. All along he was nothing but a puppet.

Veronica opened her eyes with a smirk before turning to Kara.

"You ready?" Kara asked.

"Yes, I just needed a little warm up and some... motivation."

"Motivation?" Kara asked.

"I think I might have declared a challenge to the strongest telepathy on the planet. I want to prove this entitlement of hers wrong." Veronica said with a sinister grin before shutting her eyes again. "Let us begin."

"Sandra smiled, she wasn't sure if this women had any idea who she was dealing with. Mother may of hurt the Phoenix, but t was getting power back, slowly. Even in her weakened form, she was still the strongest mental mind on the face of the Earth. Maybe Cerebral gave this women some chance, but if need be Sandra would destroy it before letting the enemy keep it.

Sandra was quick to impose her telepathic will, shattering the barb wire chain and freeing his mind. She then backed out of his mind and freed his physical body from her telekinetic presence."

Sandra: You are free now.

"The man disappeared after those words, Sandra knew where his home was and teleported him away then took a seat across from Milo."

Sandra: That guy was just a pawn. However, I seem to have a telepathic rival who thinks she can win just cause of Cerebral. Soon, she will see why James turns to me when he simply can't get the job done.

"Sandra's excitement towards this conflicted Milo a little as it wasn't quite her style. He looked into her eyes, her regular determinations was there but... he could swear there was something else, something... darker."

Yori simply looked at the chaos throughout the mansion and simply nodded as if completely understanding the situation. "I am not cleaning this up." At the moment he was glad no one really payed him any attention as he put his pizza on a non disintegrated table. He could sense the magical power in the mansion and could sense anguish. From the looks of it Genesis was the only one likely normal. He closed his eyes to reach out and find him.

"Calling for help huh?" he put his hands together immediately finding him. "Its not a prayer, but it'll do." This foreign magic in the mansion had a strong connection to everyone here.

Sever

His hands moved in a flurry of motions as he wrote the kanji into the air. The entire mansion became dark as the symbols began to light up every hallway and room. Yori stood there focusing his power on breaking the links between his companions and the alien entity. This was meant to destroy a spirit's connection to this world, but he could use it as powerful but brutal dispel magic. The links between Mother Magica and everyone was weakening. He stood immobile completely immersed in his magic.

"What are you? You've gained the attention of a God." as he spoke a few could regain their minds briefly but were still essentially in the body of a child. Adrian and Riku were the first.

Riku's senses came back to him with a suddenly burst " Ugh, what the fuck happened? " he narrowly dodged a strike from Vlad, he snapped his fingers, causing shadows to rise up and restrain the summon. In the meantime he rubbed his forehead to jog his memory, he remembered some woman coming to the door and saying she was home. Looking down at his body he realized he'd been aged backwards

" Damn, bitch got us good " he turned to Vlad " Hmm, I'll assume your one of Genesis's summons, whatever caused all of this has partly been undone so you have no reason to fight me, go do damage control somewhere else " he let Vlad go and took off, he could hear the sounds of combat all through the wrecked mansion but the noise coming from outside really drew his attention.

Kaiser had assumed his titan form and was holding Sarutobi in his massive hand. Ikon stood over him, preparing to drive his knife down but Riku burst outside from a nearby window. Prana surged out of his in the form black chains the flew through the air and ensnared Kaiser " Been awhile since I've had to use this spell on you " when they'd been young, Kaiser's control over his titan powers had been very fragile so he'd been prone to going on rampages.

To stop this, Riku crafted an original spell that binds and drains power from even a god level entity. Iko surrounded Riku with clones, aiming to attack him now but he was suddenly consumed in a barraged of black lightnining. Adrian had regained control over his senses as well and appeared to help Riku. Both Kaiser and Iko were unconscious. " This is all wrong on so many levels " Riku grumbled in annoyance, being turned back into a kid was bad enough but seriously the clothes that hag had them wearing. Adrian nodded and threw away the popsicle he'd been sucking on.

" Ugh, I hate grape "

In moments they'd managed to knock sense into Tanesha and Noah. The tracked down Mother Magica with Yori, having a standoff.

" Look what youve done your little meddler, youve ruined my home and upset my little children, no mother would tolerate such a thing " she raised her wand and began building up prana, the air hummed with power. Her hold over Genesis broken, he crawled over to the others and propped himself up against the wall.

" It's about time you brats got your shit together " he heaved. He hurt all over and most of it was coming from his pride. But he decided to just repress it all later. Suddenly a bunch of small bodies piled on him " THANK YOU GENESIS " Riku, Noah, Tanesha, and Adrian chorused together. Genesis was startled, a strange emotion was starting to bubble up in him, one he hadnt felt in a long time, happiness, but of course he wasnt going to let any of them know thi " Yeah yeah, whatever, not get off me "

Mother Magica formed her magic into the form of kitchen utinsals and flung them at Your in mass.

"Meddler?" Yori was more shocked by what she called him then by the dozens of magical projectiles being flung at him. His eyes stared into hers as each attacked pierced through him. It knocked him around some exploding on impact. Thrown into the wall he began to look down as the uniform he borrowed was torn to shreds. What scars he had were glowing a dark violet as they healed up. "Really hag?"

He pushed himself out of the small crater he made in the wall and brushed off some of the dust. "Your powerful I'll give you that." A butterknife was shot towards his eye. He caught it watching as the prana tried burning through his hand. Instead of exploding it slowly begin to tear itself a part until it took no form at all. "That doesn't give you the right to call a God. Me a meddler."

Yori could hear someone saying "Don't you Gods do that anyway?" he waved them off not caring.

"Thats not the point. The point is bitches like her bow to me. Now pray that I merely rip you apart at the seams. That's only a taste of the what the real mother of this house can do." Yori's pupils were like slits. Mother Magica could sense what he did now to her power. He simply ripped it apart. Maybe that was the type of spirit he was. Yori wasn't going to underestimate her. Being able to take all of them out was impressive. The thought of doing that just to mess with Emmet did occur.

"Also you have to give me five yen as payment."

Outside of Stark tower a man could be seen passing by on his bicycle. He was having a pretty decent day. He'd set up a job interview at a nightclub as a bartender, which wasn't the easiest thing to get in a big city. Females usually took those spots, even at gay bars. That was something he wouldn't have minded. He'd get excellent tips at a gay bar. All he'd have to do was smile and be friendly, maybe even wear tight white t-shirts. The thought made him smirk from time to time, and did so even now. He put the thought aside before feeling an odd sensation before he stopped his bike. He shut his eyes before opening them with a new expression. He looked ready, eager, and quite smug all at the same time.

"This'll work." The man said as he put his hands on his hips as he looked toward the Stark Tower. He got off of the bicycle before grabbing his phone and making a call. "Hello? Ah Kara. So just point the camera at one of them? Okay." The man said over the phone. It appeared that Veronica took over yet another victim. The man took a deep breath before screaming. "I'm gonna blow this tower sky high! With just a push of a button!" He shouted, scaring pedestrians as they scurried away and called for authorities. However, the tower had its own response. Within seconds drones exited the tower and approached the man, all armed.

"Sir, I advise you to..." As the drone continued its programmed warning, it scanned the phone for any anomalies. The man dropped the phone before shrieking in fear and falling to the ground. "False alarm. I do not detect any anomalies, but local authorities will deal with this nuisance." The drones then returned back into the tower.

Back at the Takers hideout, Kara smiles at her monitor with Veronica taking off the cerebro helmet.

"Are we in?" Veronica asked.

"Oh yeah. It's only a matter of time. We don't even have an opposition this time." Kara said excitedly.

"Technology might be like your personal yes man, but I'd still be careful." Veronica headed out of the room. "I need a quick break, I'll go work on my next project soon." Veronica said as she secretly wiped a bit of blood from her nose. This cerebro put on a larger toll than expected.

"Milo and Sandra was still conversing, they was about to finish up but Sandra had one more subject to touch on."

Sandra: Milo before I go I've got something to ask. SXM is not living up to what it could be, I think if we keep on the path we're on, SXM won't be around much longer. I'm going to do something, I want to know if you will support me.

"Milo had an idea of what was coming, he was frustrated with SXM himself and it seems after a decade of loyalty, Sandra had finally had enough."

Milo: You want to take over don't you?

"Sandra slightly nods. Milo gives his reply quickly."

Milo: Sandra you are one of my closest friends in the world, and I agree that SXM is in need of change. You've lived in the shadows of others for far to long. If you want to do this, I have your back.

"Sandra smiled, that was all she needed to know. Herself and Milo was probably more then enough already to take over SXM, but she would still gather more of a team first. Filipe has to understand this isn't just her, but much of the team is tired of how things are going.

Sandra: I appreciate it Milo. I have other arrangements to make before we do this, I'll contact you later.

"Sandra left, she had a number of people who would join her team. Dave, David, Abby, the clones, Troy, Tesla, maybe even Katy. So many has been wronged by this team, it was time for a new era of SXM, it would be the Phoenix's era."

A five yen piece flew through the air and landed in Yori's hand. The " Mother " of the house had just walked through the door and regarded the damage to his home. Emmet strolled through the kitchen, everyone holding their breath in anticipation. He shrugged off his coat, a rack wobbled into the room to take it from him and leave " Well this is certainly a fine scene to behold " he mused " Yori I apologized you had to visit during a time my home was in less then spectacular "

Mother Magicka glowered at him " this MY home, I dont know who you are, but it is a bit presumptous to-

Her speech whistled to a stop as telekinetic death grip crushed her wind pipes. Emmet gestured and her body floated into the air " My dear your correct, it is presumptous to barge into a persons home, uninvited and attempt to take it over as well as it's inhabitants " he'd read everyones minds upon first entering and got the gist of the situation. He had to admit the kids were very adorable " Mommy "

Emment whipped around as a voice from over a decade ago echoed in the room. Kaiser and Iko staggered into the room, both crying. Emmet was instantly at their sides, holding them both close and they clung to him " Sssh, it's alright my little one, no need for tears " even as he said this his own tears were spilling down. It had been so long since he'd felt this way, felt a mothers love, Kaiser the most recent child he'd had and the desire to have another generally didnt hit him again till a few centuries later.

Mother Magick fought against the hold and choked out " Get your hands off my children!! "

A massive hand of fire slammed down on her and began crushing her body. Emmet glared at her with barely restrained anger, his hair was crown of flames atop his head and his eyes were like two suns " Never. say that. again " each work was carefully pronounced, adding more pressure to her body " Now undo your spell and leave my home, you allowed me to relieve a brief moment from the past, so I wont kill you, now do as I say "

With another burst of pressure, Mother Magicka broke her spell. All of the children instantly returned to normal, albeit naked as their enlarged bodies ripped through the clothes. Mother Magicka climed to her feet and glared at everyone before breaking down " Oh why, why couldnt you let me take of you all, why couldnt you be my children and I your mother? I lost all of my children to war and famine, and you all looked so much like them " she blew her nose and turned to leave when something pierced through her chest and lifted her up " B-but you s-asaid "

Emmet smiled innocently " I'm as good as my word " he pointed behind her where Riku had speared her with his shadow.

" I made no such promise and my demonic nature wont let leave here alive " he called out in some harsh language and a blood red magic circle opened up below her " I think sending you to hell is enough to make up for the hell of wearing those lame ass clothes! "

She let out one last scream before a series hands reached out and dragged her down.

Emmet clapped his hands together " Now that the situation is resolved, a bigger one is to be undertaken, I redecorated Sandra's home and now I have an excuse to do my own, oh Yori lets have tea while I brainstorm new idea " (Note: this all happened during and after the cerebro heighst, so now i'll be posting in the same time as everyone else.

"Sandra had arrived back at her place. It'd been a long day with the tower, the break in, meeting Milo and now planning this take over. She had come back to get Dave and the family in on her plans but upon arriving was met with a pleasant surprise. Someone had taken the liberty to rework her home, and it was beautiful. Everything done seemed to reflect Sandra perfectly and a note left behind gave her a smile."

Sandra: Thank you brother.

"Sandra called the full family together along with Cassandra and Nick. She explained about planning to take over. Dave was proud of her, years overdue but she was finally going to emerge from the shadows and not play second fiddle anymore. Of course David was quick to side with her as well, he always had his mothers back. Revealing that Milo was on board, much to Dave's dislike, he honestly hoped Sandra would burn that wife stealing bastard to ash, but it seems it wasn't to be. That reveal helped get Nick slowly on board, which in turn helped get Cassandra on Sandra's side as well. Abby was the most reluctant but after Sandra took her out in the garden for a one on one mother to daughter talk, explaining her reasons. Sandra got Abby to come around and agree as well.

Everything was off to a smooth start, things was starting to come together. But there was still many people to speak with."

Sandra: I know this isn't easy what I'm asking of you. But trust me Abby, this will lead to a better future for us all.
Abby: I hope so Sandra, I hope so.

"Honestly after her meltdowns in recent years Abby had to worry about Sandra mental capacity to actually run SXM. There was a reason she was always kept down the ranks, but despite all her flaws Abby still found Sandra to be a mother figure to her."

"So I was basically down the streets of Chicago, not doing a damn thing, chillin with my friends. All of a sudden, a lightning bolt or some shit hits me. I wake up, I have powers and the rest of my friends are dead." Victor explained shortly. Damon still didn't really believe the tale. There had to be more to it.

"What about you?" Damon asked Wayne.

"Me? Born with it. It was always a pretty neat power, but it didn't really get fun until I met up with Vic and Kara. How bout you?"

"Born with it..." Damon said solemnly. "Let's just say I'm a member of pretty powerful race of aliens."

"Suuuure. They can't be that strong if you're one of them." Wayne said with a raise of an eyebrow.

"Fuck off!" Damon retorted.

"He managed to save our asses on that last mission though." Victor commented

"True..." Wayne stood corrected before he looked through his flying construct. "We're gonna have to get out of this thing soon. Latveria's defenses are no fun for aircraft. Veronica shot me a layout though, so we should be able to come up with a plan."

"How did she get a layout?" Damon asked. "Nevermind, Kara and her are like our personal information desk. We might as well call them Google 2." Damon tried to joke, but Victor and Wayne just shook their heads.

Within a few minutes, the three found themselves moving towards Latveria on foot. Wayne was creating a 3D map of Latveria with his power.

"Alright, I hope this map is wrong, because Latveria is virtually impossible to get into. By force, we don't have enough man power. We're fucked."

Sorry I've been trying to log in and post for days my intenret keeps turning on and off. I'm at a library right now I can't afford the internet I use to have, so I had to resort to something cheaper. "Sandra had Milo and her family on board, well most of them. Finished with Abby she left to other business arriving at Emmet's place. Emmet's house was a mess, he was surrounded by a bunch of nude men and one nude women, that Sandra found oddly attractive."

Sandra: Emmet darling, do I even want to know what's going on here?

"Of course she already knew, telepathy and all. But it was just more fun to hear people try to explain it."

Sandra: By the way sorry to intrude unannounced, but there is something I wish to discuss with you.

" Oh Sandra dear, that a dear friend would see my home in shambles is terrible enough but for my precious grandchild as well, simply unaceptable! " he snapped his fingers and teleported Sandra, Yori, and himself to his gazebo in the backyard while the house began repairing itself. " Ah, well at least the backyard is still relatively flawless " he said this as the massive schorch mark from Adrian's attack vanished.

"Some frumped up heifer apparently broke into my home under the delusion that it and the tenants living hear are her children, casting some dreaded spell to make them reflect her twisted desires, its thanks to my old friend Yori here that whatever plans she held were ruined and I arrived to finish the rest, my friends lack of clothing is the ending result as well as the wench being dragged to whatever circle of hell Riku desired " he made immediate note of Sandra's fraction of a glance at Tanesha, his gossip senses telling him there was something to do later.

" But back to you " tea, biscuits, and various jams appeared on the table " What do we need to discus? "

"Sandra took a sip of tea, as everything else it was perfect."

Sandra: Oh my how are you always so flawless?

"That question was meant as a compliment to Emmet."

Sandra: But yes, on to matters at hand. As you was involved, there was a attack on Genosha and Cerebral was taken. This was a needless problem which now falls upon myself as I'm the only telepathic mind around with "maybe" enough power to combat Cerebral. This is not the first time SXM has put us in this situation and quite honestly myself and a number of others have had enough.

"She sat back in her chair pondering her decade long career in SXM."

Sandra: SXM also have a way of mistreating people. I was one of the most capable people there before, I am the most capable person there now. But it seems I never get the opportunities Milo has gotten, or Yamairo or Filipe. Instead I'm stuck in teams taking orders from people like Troy.

"She took another sip of tea, enjoying the soothing flavor."

Sandra: It's time for a change. Emmet I'm putting together a group. This group is going to rise up and take over SXM, and I'm going to assume control of the operation. There are far to many mistakes being made, to many enemies being created, and to many members being upset for SXM to continue as it is.

So that's why I'm here. I've already got Milo, Dave, the children, and the clones on my side. Emmet, I want you to join our ranks and help me consume control of SXM. Your friends are all welcome as well. I need not meet them, any friend of yours I'm comfortable calling a friend of mine as well. I would of course provide you and your friends anything you all may need, not that I imagine that being very much. In times of trouble though you could rest assured you would have help.
